The room and bathroom were a good size, and the bed was comfortable. That said, the photos made the place look a bit nicer than it actually is. while generally accurate, it didn’t quite match the feel we expected. Considering the final price (once taxes are added), it felt a bit overpriced considering that it’s Cambria. The location right in front of the ocean might be ideal for those looking to surf or enjoy the beach more directly.

Too pricey

The hotel offered a continental breakfast but we didn't partake, it looked yummy. the parking is a bit tight so if you have a large vehicle, you'll have to park in the front of the property. The room amenities we're really nice: shampoo/conditioner, body wash/handwash/ lotion, LOVED IT! You couldn't ask for a better location, right across the road is moonstone beach! Bring tar remover with you if you go walking on the beach, luckily the hotel had something to remove it. We would absolutely stay here again! I look forward to our next trip!

parking is a bit tight, that's really it. nothing too major

Nice location and easy parking. EV charger was a plus. Checking in and out and parking was easy. The room was clean, comfortable bed with nice bedding, a nice big bathroom with a great showerhead. The breakfast was on the light side (boiled egg, fruit bread, banana and oranges) but healthy.

The room was a bit small with only one chair to sit on (did not use the common seating area in the lobby), limited countertop space (minibar items being placed there). We would have preferred a little water kettle or coffee maker in the room. But it was easy to get coffee and hot water from the lobby.

Updated rooms with modern design. Lots of environmentally friendly elements. Nothing extra. Good body care products in reusable packaging. Fresh bed linen, snow-white towels . Friendly staff ready to help with any question. Good location. Nice friendly lobby with fireplace.Free bikes. The team is trying very hard to make your stay in the motel as comfortable as possible

Soundproofing in the rooms is very audible in everything that happens in the neighboring rooms. Breakfast is very unhealthy. The price is high

The sky deck is an amazing place to soak up the sun and enjoy some wine (they'll sell you a chilled bottle). It's cute and a great way to enjoy the waves while being out of the wind. The bed was comfortable and everything in the bathroom and room seemed updated and worked. The staff were amazing: so helpful, very friendly and really the highlight of the trip. The wifi worked well. The restaurant next door (Sea Chest Oyster Bar) was an amazing old-school spot to grab some very fresh seafood.

The only window in the room looked out on the parking lot and the light fixtures were very dim, which made it feel a bit cave like. The parking was tight when people on the other side had large cars. The room was very small and had no fridge. Overall, despite the place being cute we tried to spend as little time as possible in our room, which was a bit disappointing considering the over $250 a night pricetag.

Staff were excellent at arrival and on checking out. The meeting room in the lobby was very nice with the open fire, great view and sitting area. Our room was comfortable and loved the décor. Little touches like the umbrella on the coat rack were thoughtful. We got lucky though and had perfect weather :) Breakfast, while not expansive in choice was very nice - oatmeal, coffee, juice, fruit, pumpkin loaf. It was ample to get the day started. You really felt like they were were going above and beyond to have you enjoy your stay.

Amazing location, just across the Pacific Ocean. We only stayed one night, but this was such memorable moment of our once-in-a-lifetime trip to California. The staff at reception were so kind and helpful. Loved the vibe, the comfort, the cute beach hut type rooms, the free bikes, the parking right in front of your room (motel style, very exotic for us Europeans), the ultra fast wi-fi (I mean, 150 Mbps? In a hotel? How?).

The breakfast choice was a bit limited: hard boiled eggs, carrot cake, coffee. Saying that, they were all delicious. I ended up wolfing down 4 slices of cake and 3 eggs. Lol.

Fantastic location - the upper decking to watch the sunset was an added bonus. Breakfast was a small snack of cake and hot drink, very pleasant. Staff were super helpful and informative. Rooms and facilities were great, just missed out on a fridge in the room (although we appreciated the silence!)

the location is fabulous. Great for walking. Kind, discreet staff, attentive to our requests. Excellent breakfast. Gorgeous lobby with huge fireplace and pleasant music. We enjoyed the shared terrace from which we could have a drink and watch the sunset out of the wind

Unfortunately the lodge is not on the sea but has views to the sea, there is a road in between. Keep this in mind if you want a different situation. From the room window you can only see the parking lot, like in motels. Our gas fireplace stopped working after the first night, but we did not report it to the front desk; when we checked in they were supposed to do maintenance on the fireplace which probably has issues.

Our family loved this little hotel. It's right across the street from Moonstone Beach and an easy bike ride to town. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and well designed. The common areas are nice and comfortable. It was a great family hotel...they had bikes, board games, a great breakfast and friendly staff.
