I loved the location! Right downtown with everything within easy walking distance. We brought our electric bikes and it was an easy bike ride over to Moonstone Beach where we enjoyed the wonderful coastal scenery. Also enjoyed great conversation with guests in The Barn in the evenings and a nice, hot breakfast around a group table in the morning. You could eat with guests or enjoy a more private meal at individual tables as well. We had a room overlooking inviting downtown businesses and thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. It is truly a historic home and it's history is pictured on the walls. We would definitely return.

Visiting the Victorian-style hotel Squibb Houses was an enchanting experience for me. I was captivated by the interior's charm, the rich history of the building, and the attention to detail in every corner. The warm hospitality of the hosts added a personal touch to my stay, making me feel truly welcome. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious and diverse, enhancing the overall experience even more. Staying in a house of such style had always been a dream of mine, and Squibb Houses turned out to be a dream come true, where every detail contributed to the magical ambiance. Overall, my visit to Squibb Houses was unforgettable and left me with a desire to return. I have already recommended this wonderful place to all my local friends.

Breakfast was a tasty mini self-service buffet with eggs & meat (different types each day), various bread for toasting, fruit, granola, yogurt, etc. Staff was friendly, the house was amazing with beautiful antique furnishings, and a very comfy bed. Short walk to restaurants, coffee, groceries, and shops, with more a long walk/short drive away. Our room wasn't huge, but big enough, and there were various indoor and outdoor garden communal sitting areas.

Nothing - we have stayed in Cambria several times, and this was our favorite so far. Just be aware this is not a family stay - no kids allowed, but this was couple's a getaway for us.

The black barn was a fantastic beautiful building. As a builder myself I can really appreciate the work that went into it. The breakfast was great and the server couldn’t have been better. The location in a park like setting close to downtown and restaurants makes it an Ideal place to stay.

The only complaint that we have is that the mattress in our room seem to be overly soft and worn out, and the pillows were far from the quality you would expect from this type of accommodations

Very well appointed, charming, “Chicory Room “in the Barn.. with a lovely balcony and fireplace. We liked our host, who prepared tasty and thoughtful breakfast choices with excellent coffee. Freshly baked goodies and tea beverages available every evening made our stay even more homey.. this was our third time in Squibb Houses .. thank you for creating such a oasis In Cambria, we will be back🙏😍

Everything was great!

The location of the property and amenities nearby, just in walking distance were all we needed. The breakfast was great! It was a nice little beach community. Pretty sleepy town during the week and quite busy on the weekend frome touristwT

The only thing that ai didn't care for was tha outside noise from construction and work being done in town, But that was not something I, nor the Sqibb house had control.

After visiting the larger cities of LA, Vegas and San Fran, Cambria was delightful. It's such a lovely little spot and the accommodation was within walking distance to restaurants. We didn't actually eat at any because we were only there for the night, so can't vouch for them. We were in the Village Room, which is up a fairly steep set of stairs. There are other rooms that aren't upstairs. The room is a bedroom with a small ensuite, but fitted our needs perfectly. The substantial breakfast, with hot and cold options, is in the old barn. Both the house and the barn are full of character and charm. Just a tip...Pack a small overnight bag and leave the bigger luggage in the car, if you can. There's not heaps of room for suitcases. We prefer a firm mattress, this one was quite soft. Self check-in was well explained and easy. It's seems to be a very safe area.

Great location. We walked virtually everywhere we went in Cambria. We had the Garden Room and it was very comfortable. Although we did not use it, the common area was very nice with adjoining kitchen for coffee and tea. Very friendly staff. Check in was very easy!

The only recommendation is, if possible, to have a wider selection at breakfast for those who a food allergy. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

The Squibb House(s) is tucked away behind trees and a restaurant. It is a little hard to find but the location gives it its quaint character. The 100+ year old building has been beautifully and tastefully restored and has the feel of an old house straight from a fairy tale.

There is almost nothing to complain about. I was a little leery that the rooms didn't have a television and air conditioning. The cool breeze and almost perfect climate made up for these "faults".....we were actually glad that there was no television, that we had a wonderful time sitting in the rocking chairs in our private patio.

charming Victorian cottage. it felt like we traveled back to the turn of the century. The grounds were gorgeous and the town was so quaint. the breakfast was top notch, eggs Benedict avocados ham fresh fruit & yogurt, and even more! It feels like we stumbled upon a secret paradise and hope no one else finds it! lol I shouldn’t be leaving a great review if I want to keep it secret huh?! lol… oh well, I know we aren’t special that way, but we felt like it when we were there. We intend to make it our annual retreat. Thank you Tiffany and all!

the bed was a little soft for my husband but just right for me.. no different than at home. lol
