The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The location couldn’t have been better—everything was within walking distance. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking—waking up to it each morning was a highlight of our trip!

The staff were outstanding—so friendly and always willing to help with anything we needed. The beach was beautifully maintained, with the seaweed cleared regularly, which really stood out compared to other places we visited. We also loved having the chairs available to relax right by the ocean. Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like—it was a fantastic stay!

Location excellent. Near lots of shops and restaurants, on the trolley line and near the best beaches Laguna has to offer. The staff was relaxed and professional. Nick is the best and he went above and beyond. We received a small upgrade upon arrival so that was great. The maintenance staff were helpful! They set up Adirondack chairs and umbrellas. There are lots of places to relax and sit around the property. The tables, chairs, loungers have the best views in Laguna! Beach below hotel is fantastic for surfing, boogie boarding and swimming. Outdoor showers are great. Some rooms overlook the pool and the ocean from a distance. Others do not overlook the pool but are directly overlooking ocean. Free continental breakfast hours and breakfast were fantastic. It's a pretty standard continental breakfast but coffee machine had all different types of coffee and I believe was Starbucks which was a bonus. The patio is beautiful and overlooks water. We got take out for dinner and brought it to a lower patio for sunset. We liked the ease and availability of extra pool and bath towels. We really enjoyed our stay! I enjoyed all the stairs, but I can see that being tough for some. I liked that everything was up front and no hidden fees. I would definitely stay here again.

Parking spaces are tight, but we managed. They are well lit at night. Pool could maybe use a bit more furniture.

You cannot beat the location! Perfect for travelers who want to spend the majority of their time on the beach. There are many shared lounge areas with tables and great views to sit and enjoy food or drink. They also provide chairs and umbrellas.

We have family in the area so we stay in Laguna Beach often and have stayed at various properties. This is an older refurbished hotel but we paid premium price--had higher expectations for what we paid. We had a suite with literal glass shower doors separating the bathroom from living area and bedroom. It was a strange design choice as the doors had about a 2 inch gap all around and luckily my husband and I aren't shy because you could hear everything when using the toilet. Also, the hotel next door was doing construction and it was extremely loud, starting at 8am every morning. It would have been nice for the hotel to have given a discount since there's no way they weren't aware--this was major construction with jackhammers and everything.

Friendly staff, simple but good breakfast, clean and comfortable room ( one issue as explained below ), good location for exploring the Laguna area. My favorite thing was the shared balcony areas with tables to relax and watch the sunset. Cute themed decor around made for a unique touch. Parking was easy and convenient.

Door had large gaps around the bottom, which allows in noise from the road nearby all night. Card reader on door was a huge pain to unlock the door. Just replace the whole door and trim. There was a large construction project next door making the room unlivable most of the day - not this properties fault but should be either mentioned when booking or discount provided for the disturbance.

Breakfast was small pastries, Bagels, English muffins, etc. Coffee was very good and very strong which was awesome. Hearing the ocean was amazing while I slept. The rooms are large and comfortable. We had a room off the deck on the top level and I would definitely stay at this level again if we came back to this hotel. It was also really nice that there was a trolley stop right outside the hotel and we were able to take that all throughout Laguna.

Construction next door was very loud and was sort of like our alarm clock every day because we could not sleep any later when the construction started.

The staff was excellent. They handled special requests very quickly, provided assistance when needed. The rooms are large and comfortable with a nice space for a kitchenette (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, sink) and table. Good size bathroom. Nice little balcony overlooking the pool. There's beach access but lots of stairs depending on where you start. Thank goodness for the auxiliary parking lot.

Beds were WAY too soft. Worn down I would say. And hooks are needed in the bathroom to hang clothes and towels.

Everything was exceptional... from the very first contact with the check-in agent, the friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay, and the ocean front view from our room. The entire location was clean and well maintained. There were tables with umbrellas, and seating areas on the upper deck where we enjoyed playing games while viewing the beautiful coastline. We will definitely be returning !

The on site parking spaces are really tight, but they do not charge a fee like other resorts in Laguna Beach, which is an added bonus !

Our stay at Capri Laguna in Laguna Beach was fantastic! The location couldn’t be better—you’re right on the beach, with the waves just steps away, and a short walk along the sand takes you to the city center. And there are also many great shops, bars, restaurants, and cafes right next door to the hotel itself which makes the area super walkable. Plus, the hotel offers free parking, which is a big bonus. What really stood out, though, was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff, especially Nick and Bachir, were incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. They even upgraded our room, giving us a stunning ocean view that made our stay extra special.

Simply put, it was great. Nick and Bachir, the general manager and receptionist respectively, were extremely caring and polite. We asked if a room with sea views was still available and they made it happen. Thanks again! The location in Laguna Beach is also perfect, not too close to the very touristy places but within easy walking distance. The property is right on the beach and you can sit on the beach and watch the amazing sunset while having dinner if you bring your own food. The property was also very clean which is probably the most important thing for me when staying in a hotel. The price is totally ok. We have stayed in other places in Laguna Beach before and they were not worth the money. We will be back.

Very happy with the whole stay.

This was our second time staying at Capri Laguna on the Beach! We just love it there! It's an interesting hotel, perched above the rocky coast, and feeling very Old World Italy! Depending on the tide, you can walk the beach directly below or watch the waves, dolphins, and surfers. We always leave our window or balcony door cracked open to enjoy the sounds of the waves crashing below as we sleep. The location is ideal - quiet, but walking distance to the Main Beach, delicious restaurants, and boutique shopping.
