We love this property. We came to 741 hotel for our 22nd anniversary and we decided to come again for 24th cause the staff is amazing from valet to the front counter to staff around the properties. Love the quaint, peaceful quiet area. I will definitely be back again. We also got I want to say pressure point massages. My wife knows the name, but it was great awesome great experience can’t wait to be back. You guys are amazing. Everything was great. You guys made our 24th year anniversary and amazing memory and experience.

We stayed at the hotel and had the best time ever! Kyle at the front desk was so welcoming and lovely. He showed us to the room and gave great recommendations about what to do in the area and how to get around! The room was incredible, we had an ocean view and a beautiful, huge walk-in shower. The hotel has a really nice rooftop and a lounge area with books and comfy chairs. They also offer complimentary coffee/tea and you can access the pool and lovely Jacuzzi that’s only a 2-minute walk from the hotel, at their other hotel- SCP Laguna Surf Lodge. We’ll definitely return to the same hotel when we’re back in Laguna Beach! Thank you for a wonderful experience, we loved it!

I loved the pretty walk to the beach via the sister property and the free tea or coffee. The staff were also very friendly. This is my go-to place in Laguna Beach.

It was extremely clean and staff are cleaning every morning . The only reason I gave this one point less is because of the musty bathroom smell which I think came from the shower and some cobwebs on an outside table….. But I am nit-picking (I am fussier than most) and neither spoiled my stay. I will definitely return on my next visit to Laguna.

I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful property! It's just steps away from the beach, making it incredibly convenient for a beachside getaway. The property itself is stunning, with great attention to detail and a relaxing atmosphere. I was also thrilled to see how pet-friendly it is—my furry friend had an amazing time too! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beach retreat with excellent service and a great vibe!

This hotel is designed to be a quiet retreat where you can relax after a day at the beach or other coastal activities, and it was exactly that. It is not frilly, but is very nice. Take advantage of the aromatherapy and noise machine in the room to have an incredibly deep sleep. I stayed there for work, and it was a great retreat from working all day as I could just retreat and tune out and get a well deserved rest after a nice walk up and down the local strip and beach and having a meal.

The staff is attentive, there upon request, but there is little on site staff support. The door entry to the hotel and rooms is a bit awkward with long codes to put in.

The split hotel was a touch confusing- it wasn’t clear in the booking description or at the entrance of the hotel that the staff were in a seperate building a couple of doors up. Once we got in touch (we didn’t have a phone that could make calls, only internet), they were super apologetic and very helpful getting back down the hill which we appreciated :) Maybe just add this to the booking description or the check in msg sent to guests :)

The property is beautiful and serene in a perfect location. The view of the water was really spectacular! Juanita made dinner reservations for us one night, and that was very nice of her!

We understood that this property is the sister of another larger hotel up the road, but we did feel a bit like the step-child of the family. There were no staff in the lobby. If you wanted to speak with someone, texting was the way to get ahold of any staff member. They had a coffee maker and tea kettle in the lobby, but only once during our stay was coffee made, and then no cream or sugar was offered. These are not big things, but at the price of the room, these details should have been considered.

I loved how cozy and Zen our room and courtyard was. Loved the sound machine, diffuser, and robe to make me feel more relaxed. The pool and spa area was excellent. Loved that you can use lounge chairs down on the sand. Coffee and Tea station was great. Love that they used a code to get into your room. Dog friendly.

Only thing I would say is the room we were in, we could hear everyone coming in and out of the back door. Floor was very sandy when first coming in, and light was flickering on ceiling. Parking could be better too.

I loved everything about it when arriving we need a call we went in the back. Got our car parked valet went inside. Lindsay helped us check in and she was awesome. Service is great the sister hotel. Hotel Riviera gave us access to the beach was amazing. Overall just had a wonderful time. Can’t wait to tell friends and family. Can’t wait to go back another time to visit again spent the entire day on the beach with my wife and granddaughter because she came down with us to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary and then later on our daughter son-in-law and a couple of their friends came down also, accommodations were great the room awesome love the overhead showerhead in the shower just love the whole ambience of the hotel. The deck on the outside a hotel room was awesome. Ate dinner after that night. The atrium was beautiful in the front room with all the books is great. Also love the coffee didn’t have any wine not really wine drinkers but everything was awesome. We loved it. Can’t wait to go back again.

Such a beautiful hotel in a great area to access Laguna. The hotel has stunning views from its upper courtyard space and is in walking distance to stores, bars, restaurants and beach. The room was beautiful so fresh and clean with sound experience and diffuser, the bed was so comfortable it was the best sleep I have had in years! The courtyard in the middle of the property with swings is a beautiful place to relax and restore.
