Perfect location for anyone new to surfing, or anyone who is experienced and just wants to have fun on the waves People were swimming, skim boarding, paddle boarding, and surfing all day long. We saw dolphins go by everyday. Family friendly, quiet, and relaxed. This hotel has a beautiful pool and hot tub, lovely places to hang out outside, just a perfect location convenient to everything you could want or need. Clean. Friendly staff. And I loved the hotel's commitment to the environment. It is real, and it is evident in all the details.

Pillows were uncomfortable.

The view was phenomenal. The room was dated, but that's why we got a good deal I believe. They're renovating the rooms and ours hadn't been renovated yet. It was clean and comfortable enough and we weren't there for the room anyway. Nothing could beat the view. The staff was very helpful and friendly! Also the decks for patrons on the different levels were so inviting with fire pits and comfortable seating while watching sunsets or surfers.

The room needed updating, but they're getting to it. I will say the path down to the beach wouldn't be good for out of shape or elderly folks. It's a hike down to the beach and up to the upper rooms, but it was fine for our family.

Our room had be redesigned and renovated to allow for a spacious feel. The bathroom and sitting area was fresh and clean. The entire room was painted and the bathroom completely redone to 2024 specs. The view was OK as we basically faced the street and did not have a clear view of the ocean. That moldy smell that you usually get in these beachfront hotels was not present at all. The staff was outstanding from the front desk to Gabriel who helped with our luggage and parking and retrieving our vehicle. Everyone seemed to be upbeat and did their job with complete satisfaction.

The beach chairs and umbrellas were a bit old and beat up. Unlike previous years where there was a staff worker down at the beach to help set up the furniture and umbrellas, this year we were left to do it ourselves which was a pain when you are carrying towels and coolers to the beach.

I knew about the area and age of the hotel before I stayed at the hotel. It is older, eclectic, practical, and perfect if you want a beach surf stay. We had a junior suite-type room with a private balcony overlooking the beach. Sleeping at night and hearing the surf crash on the beach is perfect. It is primal and satisfies the soul at a basic level that fully refreshes the body. The room was clean and the hotel service was great. This is an older building so it is not ADA friendly which is typical for buildings in the area. There are no elevators that I am aware of nor expected for sea views.

I cannot think of anything. There is no room service. However, there are plenty of local eateries within a quick 5 or 10 minute walk from morning to late at night.

The entire staff made us feel so welcome … treated us like royalty! Best customer service ever ! Did EVERYTHING to make us feel comfortable! Perfect hospitality! Tyson, Gabe, Kyle , Juanita were so incredibly professional and outstanding with customer service !! Can’t wait to come back again. Seriously wanted to hug all of them. The staff at this hotel make you feel like family.

Nothing .. they’re renovating but they bend over backward to make you comfortable during the improvements / transition. Even the construction employees were smiling and friendly!

Office staff is exceptional! Friendly and helpful. Ocean view was fabulous. In room microwave and refrigerator are wonderful amenities, so is the in room safe.. Large screen TV added to my pleasure. The pool area is beautifully decorated, clean, refreshing. Valet personnel and service was great! Location near downtown is good!

That the microwaves and TVs might be discontinued. That the historic wall murals outside were removed. If these items are removed, I may stay elsewhere. I've stayed here annually for years and have recommended this hotel to my LV friends multiple times, but now I am waiting to see what the new owners do. When you travel alone you want a TV and when you eat late at night you want a microwave ( I work a graveyard shift in LV.) I hope I can continue to stay here, that the amenities don't change.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also were very responsive and courteous. The location is truly amazing since it was steps to the beach and close to a lot restaurants and shops. The rooms were very big and had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable.

There was nothing wrong with this property- everything was right! We can’t wait to come back when it’s fully renovated to see what else is amazing about it!

Access to the beach was outstanding despite the steep descending switchbacks. Location to restaurants and the Pageant of the masters was ideal.

The rooms are dated, rugs need to be replaced or changed to a laminate floor or wood. The room smelled a bit like a locker room. The outrageous price of 38 dollars a night to overnight park when you are paying 300 plus a night for the room is absurd.

Love the location and ocean view. The air conditioning saved us this week.

The air conditioner vent went out the window and had no flashing around it so and the window could not close. We’ve been going to your location for 15 years. Outside still needs lots of work. Prices are a bit to high for us. $500 a night!

Great location right on the beach with beautiful views and nice seating areas. Relaxing comfortable clean room with nice amenities.

I would have liked to have had a coffee maker in my room, and my room did not have the features, nor the views shown on the booking photos.
