The location and view from the cottages is exceptional. The communication with the innkerper before, during and after was also exceptional. The cottage was clean and well stocked. The heat and lights were on when I arrived and a bottle of wine and their special blend of coffee is a nice welcome. I spent 5 days in the cottage and never got tired of the view.

The cottage has a soft bed, which is not my preference. A couple of the furnishings, while clean, could stand an update. That said, I would return here without hesitation.

The Cottages felt like a home away from home. It was our first time staying at this property. We stayed at the Jenner and the best feature of this cottage was the windows overlooking the ocean. The wood panelings were a great touch to give the space a cozy vibe. We also appreciated the small details when we checked in. They provided a bottle of wine with a note and there were pet beds, food bowls, and treats ready for our two dogs. Management was very communicative during our stay. They made sure that we were comfortable during our stay and to let them know if we needed anything. Overall we had a relaxing weekend here and would love to stay here again!

Great location, Easy check-in, Kind and helpful staff, Cozy cottage. Three friends and their dog stayed in the Caspar cottage, we absolutely loved it. There is a hot tub on the back deck, very nice. The cottage was very relaxing. I don't know how to describe it but once we checked-in time just slowed down. We opened the windows and breeze was great. The grounds were well maintained and beautiful. They are very pet-friendly, welcomed us with a very sweet handwritten note. I wish we could have stayed longer, we had a very nice time.

The location is excellent, very close to Mendocino's old town and various attractions. The sea view is gorgeous! My cats enjoyed their stay as much as we did.

The kitchen facilities are rather simple. Having more cooking spices and tools would create a greater sense of home.

Cute and comfortable place. Great pet ammenties and care package left for furry friends. That was a nice surprise. Bed was super comfortable. :)

My husband didn't care for the shower - not a lot of pressure and couldn't get it warm enough. Also, left his pillow and we called to see if we could pick it up later when we are back in town, but never received a call back. Bummer but our fault for leaving it.

Location was great, the cottage had a good view, nice grounds and very spacious. We had problem with the sofa sleeper and after a very rude woman did little to help, we were contacted by a super gal who solved the problem immediately and we were able to get on with our trip and enjoy the stay. We would recommend the cottage and plan to return.

The location is wonderful. The view is amazing from the balcony. Very romantic accomodations. We loved the complimentary bottle of wine! The kitchens have everything you need. The bed is comfortable. The WiFi was strong and easy to connect to.

The cottages sit up on a hillside which is cool, but the driveway is very steep and narrow so be prepared: perfect for a SUV a bit of a grind for a family van. The couch sleeper is not too comfy unless you're a kid. The shower in our cottage "Jenner" has terrible water pressure. Ladies with lots of hair schedule some time to get the soap out. There was a light bulb out in the stairs, which made it awkward to climb them in the dark. So leave the light on downstairs. The sliding door was really difficult to open. Nothing about the cottages or location really made a bad impact on our stay. These are just nitpicky things that shouldn't discourage anyone from staying here. I'm just being honest.

The cottage was clean, comfy and spacious. The view from the living room is gorgeous.

I was excited to try the complimentary bottle of wine but the cheesy little bottle opener wasn't able to open it. Maybe invest in slightly better wine bottle openers.

The view was amazing and staff were great. Very pet friendly and very close to beach. Big unit and the fire pit was a nice touch in the evening.

It was a bit out dated but the staff are in process of updating they said.

Nice little spot by the coast with a reasonable price and very nice bedding

Everything was perfect besides the hot water was a little low, but not too big of a deal, could've just been because we showered later in the day
