The location was beautiful. And the breakfast was amazing. The room was spacious and had all necessary amenities. The view from the patio was great. Having the EV chargers saved us a lot of time.

The room’s bathroom door didn’t have a handle and lock. It was very difficult to close and open those sliding heavy doors. The cupboard door handles were at the top (6 feet 5 inches high) making it difficult for shorter people to reach and open the cupboard easily. The water pressure in the sink was so high that it would splash water on my cloths every time I went to wash my hands.

Beautiful property and coastline with a trail to the beach and acres for walking. We loved our king studio looking out at the ocean with deck and fireplace. The bed and bedding were very comfortable, shower excellent and room had everything we needed. Very dog friendly place with welcome bag upon arrival. Close to Mendocino, great restaurants, shopping and tons of magical beaches to explore. Ledford House is close by for a lovely and special dinner. Navarro Winery a favorite. Heritage House is a gem and we will return!

We wish the Spa had a few more services like a hot tub and sauna which would be really nice on the property. Similarly we wish the restaurant had a full service breakfast and brunch with menu but the breakfast we had was good just a limited. The views from the restaurant and bar are beautiful and the staff accommodating and nice. It’s rural and not as fancy as other places in its price range but makes up for it with being one of the prettiest places on the coast. All in all we love the place!!

The location is fabulous - with amazing views from both the room and the dining areas. The room (in a small bungalow) was large, stylish and very well equipped. The staff were great and had some great suggestions. The grounds were wonderful. This is a fabulous hotel that I would heartily recommend. The Wifi worked great (even though we were in a distant building).

The breakfast was disappointing compared to the quality of everything else.

Beautiful view - we were upgraded at check in and got a room with a glorious heated bathroom floor. Great bedding, fireplace, plenty of coffee pods. Maintenance and housekeeping staff we met were great.

The gal at the front desk Thurs.- Sat. was not pleasant. I booked a massage appointment and the therapist did not show up. The front desk person told us twice, "She should be there." We went back and double check - yep, she should have been there, but was not. Appointment was cancelled and the guest services manager sent us a bottle of champagne to apologize - that was classy. We had to report that out toilet was leaking onto the bathroom floor and the drain was plugged up, but both problems were handled kindly and efficiently by maintained, but having to report it to the front desk twice was awkward.

The grounds are beautiful, spacious, and full of flowers. Lots of room to explore and walk your dog. I hadn't realized the grounds were so large! Our room (62) was lovely with a fenced deck outside. The bed was absolutely comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our room, walking through the grounds, and enjoying the ocean air! It was a treat to stay here and dog friendly to boot.

We didn't access the beach from the property. There was a very long wooden staircase, but anyone with hip or knee issues might think twice before attempting..

My stay was short but it was my most favorite stop driving down to California. The grounds were breathtaking and the people were so kind and accommodating. Duck (the person) was a delight and made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. I would stay here for weeks at a time if I could! So worth the price and overal 10 out of 10!

Nothing everything was wonderful

It is a great property with amazing views. Staff was very friendly it was nice to have a restaurant on site.

Our room had an actual hole with rot coming out and a spiders nest. We also had to sweep off the deck due to a build-up of pine needles. Both should have been taken care of by maintenance and housekeeping. Especially at their price point

Incredible location along the headlands overlooking the Pacific. Comfortable and private room. Nostalgic for me having been here with my parents in earlier days.

It could use some upkeep and better restaurant service. Probably hard to find staff. We hope Heritage House will regain its former status as an outstanding destination.

The view and sound of the ocean, the smell of the eucalyptus, our labradoodle's joy in discovery on the trip with us, morning walk along the cliff, comfortable room and deck.

First breakfast delicious... especially the blueberry blintzes and fresh fruit. Monday morning breakfast different with overly cooked scrambled eggs and no blintzes, fruit again delicious.

The location and setting were beautiful. The amount of land and the views were amazing. The deck was really nice and so was the main part of the room. Comfortable beds and nice furnishings. Beautiful landscaping.

The bathroom sink and floor of the shower could use an update. One of the light bulbs in the bathroom kept burning out so it was dark
