Walking distance to attractions & nice city view

Upon checking in, hotel tried to charge me for the room although it was already paid in full 2 weeks prior. Apparently there was miscommunication btwn the hotel & Booking.com. . At check out, there was no mention of an additional fee until I got a notification from my credit card company. I called the hotel & was told the $35.50 was a destination fee however I had already paid the resort fee which I thought was the same. I was assured it would be waived however it wasn't. So now I'm disputing thru my credit card company. It bothers me that the hotel could make charges to my credit card without telling me!

The staff was excellent especially front desk and the gentleman that worked out front. I would have to say that most of the staff were pleasant and willing to help at any time. greeting me coming and going from the hotel. the jacuzzi & pool were awesome

The manager he was rude. Insensitive. Lied to me. he was pompous with an attitude of better then as he walked into the room, you could see the other employees body language change and become uncomfortable his actions truly unveiled the reality of his insecurities. As he uses his position as an opportunity for his delusions of grandeur.

Location good close to Fisherman’s wharf, room a good size, shower large and plenty of hot water, linens soft and plenty of them, our room attendant looked after us well, lovely comfortable bed - not too hard or too soft. Also liked the toiletries and decaf coffee provided for the coffee maker. Cleanliness very good. We booked a long time in advance via a third party agent and the hotel did. Or add on any unexpected charges.

Provision of more tea bags but we always travel with our own so not an issue for us and I know they would have provided more if we asked.

Excellent location, supermarket was a short walk and a couple of blocks back from Fisherman’s Wharf and the main strip so a quieter area. Felt very safe and room was clean and well appointed. The staff were great, helped us with a car seat order from Amazon, provided a kettle for our room when requested and housekeeping also bought me some dishwash for the baby bottles - so helpful! Very close to rental car depot and In and Out burger! They also had our room ready early with no charge, which was much appreciated after a long haul flight. Pool was also lovely and warm. Thanks Hyatt team, great stay.

Great location and comfortable beds. Room was a fine size. Nice quality sheets and feather pillows. Kids loved the pool - it was heated and warm enough for them on a January winter night. Hot tub was closed, so they didn’t get to play there. Breakfast buffet was included in the room we booked. Selection was pretty good. Hot items included bacon, waffles, scrambled eggs, potatoes, and even veggie sausages that were delicious. Plus two eggs any any style or omelet.

The bathroom was a little dated, but fine. Shower was a tub and curtain and I generally don’t like curtains. But the water pressure was good, so it was fine.

Very well located for tourist attractions such as Pier 39, Big Bus tours, and Alcatraz tours. The Bed was soft and supporting, with clean high quality sheets and Duvet. The towels were soft and plentiful. The room was well appointed with clean carpet, and no obvious wear and tear. Check in was quick and easy even though we were a little early. There is a local starbucks for those who like their early morning coffee (Although there was also a good machine with the room).

I was on the top floor, and the shower water pressure was okay - but not luxurious. There was some local area noise at night, but not enough to be a problem.

First time in San Francisco and after thorough research into different hotels, we had specifics we were looking for, namely nice clean rooms with no noise in a very good location. This hotel met all of this. I stayed in the King Room with courtyard view and it was a great sized room. It had a large bed with a chair, sofa, table, TV, wardrobe and enough space. The room came with a fridge, safe, iron, ironing board which was great as we didn't have to ask the help desk to bring anything up to us. The bathroom had a sink, toilet & shower with adequate space. The hotel has an outdoor pool & jacuzzi, with indoor gym/fitness room. The bed was comfortable and we didn't hear any noise, which allowed us to sleep during the night. We had breakfast included and they came us breakfast vouchers for each day which we would hand to the team on duty during breakfast. The breakfast was plenty some, having eggs, omelette, potatoes, toast, bagels, waffle, french toast, fresh fruit, juice, tea/coffee etc. The breakfast definitely gave us a great start to the day and is open for around 4 hours with plenty of seating. They also provided us with some discount coupons for local restaurants at the pier, which came into use to allow us to have a lower dinner/lunch bill. This was an additional benefit which we didn't know they offered. The staff were very friendly and always on hand to help, cannot fault them. The location was absolutely brilliant, it allowed us to use the local bus, tram, cable car and walk to all our destinations. There are many stops around the hotel within a couple minutes walk and the pier is within 7-9min walk from the hotel. Around the hotel you have souvenir stores, trader joes, 7Eleven, all within 3-5min walk. The public transport allowed us to reach golden gate park, golden gate bridge with such ease, as well as more local areas such as union square, Lombard street, painted ladies, Alcatraz etc.

The only personal downside was the bathroom. The shower didn't have an additional shower head that you can take off the wall. The shower pressure could have been slightly better and the bathroom door didn't fully slide shut flush. However, this wasn't a deal breaker considering all the benefits of the hotel.

Very comfortable rooms and nice lobby were contrasted with the very long boring slightly dingy hallways that were ahike to get to elevator. Breakfast buffet was very good. Brief dip in hot tub was lovely and pool area was immaculate and deserted. Great location close to Fishermans wharf and North Beach where we were going for a comedy club.

see above and high price for parking and breakfast which probably was cheaper than average for SF though. Had two beds but only one chair.

The location was great and easy to get to. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was great, especially the vale attendants they went above and beyond.

The only downside to this hotel is there was no microwave in the room. (only an issue because we had a newborn and nowhere to warm water.) Also when you enter the hotel lobby you are hit with an extremely strong unpleasant smell of air freshener. (strongly recommend they change the scent and not use so much)

The staff were great help and answered all of our questions. Bed was super comfy!

I paid the extra for a city view, which ended up being a fairly limited view and the room was a little small. I also swore I booked a hotel that included breakfast and this did not so I guess pay extra close attention or screen shot what the ad shows when you're booking. Location in SF was ok. I hadn't been in 30 years so was unaware of how much fisherman's Warf area had changed. I'd probably pick a different location next time.
