The property was in a safe neighborhood with easy access by foot or bike to most major attractions of San Francisco. The parking garage felt safe and there was plenty of spaces available. Adding parking in the booking package made the overnight/daily fee around $30. The hotel accomodated us parking in the garage on the day we checked out up to 6pm, as listed when parking is paid. Be prepared for the bikes to not be available for free rental. Booking one of the bike rentals locally online will save about 20% of your total bike rental even the day of rental. There were ample ice machines available for the cooler we kept in our room, along with purified water dispensers. I asked for a room away from the elevators and ended up having a view of Coit Tower.

The refrigerator in our room needed to be lifted up in the front because the fridge was tilted causing the door to hang up on the carpet, I did not notify the front desk. However, the fridge in the room was a bonus because no where was a refrigerator listed as being available in the room. Garbage trucks pick up every day. We had to be up early so it didn't bother us too much and we were prepared for this from reading reviews and brought a loud fan for added white noise.

Excellent location, central to all tourist attractions, easy accessibility to public transport. They have provided facilities for a Water filter & ice machine, a common microwave & toaster, which allows you to bring in breakfast and re-heat, this really helped, especially with all the complimentary tea and coffee during breakfast. Room cleaning is done every day and the staff are extremely accommodating and courteous, when asked to come an hour or 2 later, they were happy to accommodate. All the games laid out in the common area are fun, whatever be your age.

Limited options for Breakfast.

The location is excellent for all major must sees in San Francisco. There is a really cool vibe around the hotel and the staff are all really nice and very helpful. Sadly it was too cold to use the pool but it looked really good. Transport was so close by but many places were walkable.

Noise is a big issue at the hotel, we could hear our neighbours conversation very clearly and them coughing. The windows rattling in the wind and were not double glazed so street noise and even people talking/shouting was heard in the room and we were on the 5th floor. It’s a city so to be expected I guess. The ac was also very loud we couldn’t keep ours on overnight. All stuff ear plugs can fix though!

We were upgraded to a room with a city view and a bar fridge after I asked to change rooms as the one we were first given was subject to a lot of street noise. We had also requested a kettle in the room and we received it which made late night and early morning drinks and breakfast easy. The room was large and comfortable (particularly the bed). I used the pool to swim some short laps before our long flight home. We initially booked three nights so we had use of the room until 6pm when we were leaving for the airport but when we were checking out they said they would request a refund of the third night as we left so early - very kind of them. The hotel is on the edge of the waterfront area and a street away from the old cable car as well as other transport to go into the downtown and other areas. It felt safe to walk around at night.

Only the option to book a late checkout at the time of booking instead of having to book an extra night then cancel if you need a late checkout.

the hotel is great and super well located with plenty of amenities. Great pool, free coffee in the morning and milk & cookies in the everning. It's a modern, cool, trendy place. Great value for San Francisco.

Because of it's location near the port you can hear the boats honk on oggy nights (which is almost every day). Also they charge an staying fees of $44 per night to be able to use the pool, gym and basically the hotel services. They tried to charges us when we got there but after talking to reception they told us that booking.com reservations have it included in the total amount. Just be mindful of that.

This hotel was great for the kids - the games room was a brilliant way to keep children occupied during downtime. The games area/bar space was very accommodating in the evening, allowing guests to bring in take away food and drinks. We didn't use the pool area as the weather wasn't great, but it all looked clean and welcoming. The location was great with easy access to Fisherman's Wharf and Little Italy. Sadly we didn't get chance to use the bikes but we saw them and it would have been fun!

The rooms were fine but basic - no fridge or kettle (although coffee was available until 10am for free in the bar area). Daily housekeeping kept everything clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. Not a fan of the shower curtains which meant that the bathroom floor was drenched each time we showered!

The customer service was exceptional! The location was great... and hotel very clean!

I could have purchased direct thru their website and paid less and got bonus shopping card and reduced parking fee. No coffee in room (which I was aware of) and no more coffee available in lobby at 8:15am....that was weird.

The staff honored our request for a view, which we really appreciated! We loved the big window and view of the city. The room was very clean. The TV was easy to work and we were happy to find a fridge and a safe in the room. We appreciated the full-length mirror and the lighted mirror in the bathroom. The elevators were SO fast -this is a huge plus! We didn't spend time at the pool, but we checked it out and it was very clean and inviting. I wish we'd had time there. Finally, I had to call guest services twice and they were professional, kind and very quick to report to our room for extra pillows/blankets and to replace a lightbulb in one of the lamps. They arrived in under 15 minutes.

The rooms were very basic, and it would have been very nice to have a coffee maker in the room. We hate having to get dressed to go get coffee. The bed covering was thin as a sheet, so we had to request extra blankets (which was easy and taken care of quickly). There is no overhead lighting, so all lighting in the room is dependent on lamps. We prefer more lighting. The bathroom did not have a fan which is a problem after showering as well as when you share a toilet with someone! We would have loved a microwave as well.

Great location, comfortable beds and nice staff! Kiddos liked the milk and cookies each night.

The daily resort fee, not having breakfast and the weird daily charitable contribution fee we were charged when we checked out was ridiculous. I guess when looking at the value of a location this was a good place to stay but had I not got a parking package it would have cost another $72 a day. With the $30+ daily resort fee that’s over $100 of unexpected fees per night. I would stay again but feel the hotel should be straight up with people about these extra fees. It would go a long way with customer satisfaction by making people feel confident there are none of these sneaky unexpected fees.

Great location, cozy small rooms, secure parking, soft beds, spotless white bedding and towels, and plenty of games available for both kids and adults. The two pool tables really stand out!

They said the pool was heated, but it was cold. If it had really been heated, warm water would’ve been coming from the jets — but it was cold. My child and I couldn’t bring ourselves to swim, which really upset my daughter. In the hallway on the way to the room, a broken glass was lying there for two days and no one cleaned it up. The room itself was nice, but the bathtub in room 209 was peeling and needs repair.
