Good location, decent breakfast, good amenities like the tv and microwave, fridge. Housekeeping was nice.

The front desk area had a weird smell, not sure if it was food related or something else but it was off putting. The elevator did not work, so it was annoying to carry luggage up the stairs. The bedroom itself is good but I really recommend getting the carpets cleaned or adding some type of air freshener! That will really help make the rooms feel and smell clean. Also, not sure what the housekeepers use to clean but I recommend that if they’re using bleach, to follow up with a cleaning spray that smells good. We were told our room had just been cleaned but it smelled musty so for a Clean freak like me, it didn’t seem clean at all.. I want to smell the cleanliness.

The motel was very comfortable, my wife and I stayed 9 nights, and were very satisfied. The price was good, location was excellent, easy to visit all parts of San Francisco & the Bay Area by (rental) car, and plenty of parking spaces at the Capri. Having an included takeaway breakfast was very welcome, in the form of cereal, toast and jams, pastries and coffee and tea, and is unusual in U.S. motels. Also coffee making facilities in the room was useful. The hostess, Shital, was very helpful & accommodating, and overall we enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay again.

Location, Perfect area Breakfast, It was good, but it could be better. For example, they need to have some stools so that people can sit and eat appropriately. Room, It was perfect and clean, 101 was close to the office, and the administration was friendly to choose this room, considering I have handicap issues.

Honestly, they need a better internet connection in the room. I had to do some work and couldn't do it for one more day. That was my plan. Also, the soda machine didn't work, which was ridiculous and upset me. I went to buy a Coke at 2 a.m., and it didn't work.

The staff were very helpful and efficient, we stayed 5 nights and found the cleaning staff also helpful and obliging. The location was great - a very quiet part of San Fran, it felt very safe and relaxed. We used Clipper cards to get around on public transport which was a very convenient way to get to all areas of town. In the evenings we returned to the motel - Plenty of good eating places and restaurants within 10-15 mins walk for evening meals. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, but no sitting outside area. Fine if you are out and about all day. Breakfast was provided in the ground floor room - basic but ok for a good start to the day.

Nice to have a small breakfast available in the morning, it’s limited to packaged pastries, toast, cereal, and coffee but that was enough for us. Excellent location, very easy to walk to a bunch of restaurants, and also not far from the waterfront, parks, and a few buses going downtown. Despite the property being quite large and a large group of travelers arriving on the same night as us, there were never any noise issues.

The room was spacious and clean, however, the curtains were old and literally ripped. One lampshade was also slightly broken. Overall the room & property could use some upgrading.

Good location that felt safe and quiet. Well kept rooms with free, convenient parking. Ice machine and soda vending. Helpful staff. Basic breakfast included, however I didn’t avail myself of it. Had a really nice retro feel but without feeling old or tatty. Would happily stay again.

The room walls were quite thin, though nothing worse than you would usually find at a motel of this kind. No working elevator, though I had picked this up from other reviews and it didn’t bother me.

This motel is located in a great area. It is within a walking distance from the ocean and a big grocery store (Safeway). The personnel was friendly. You can also have a breakfast at the motel, but there is no seating area although since it is mostly cereal, toast and oatmeal, you can take this up to your room. If you want to visit other areas in SF the public transportation stops were near to the motel. There were many restaurants and bars near the motel area.

The only complaint I would have is that the wifi connection in my room wasn't great.

We found this place on a whim and were lucky enough to find a suite that suited our needs. retro chic, with a mix of modern amenities, a stove and kitchenette stocked with hardware for cooking and dining. It was nice not having to find a restaurant just to eat and made full use of the facilities. Location is great and there is a lot around within walking distance. water pressure was great, and had ac.

elevator was out, and we were on the third floor. The futon was functional but might be on its way out.
