They were able to accommodate getting me checked in a little bit early so that I could make it to my evening plans. The person working the front desk was friendly and helpful. Parking instructions were clear and the garage was secure. My room was spacious and clean. I did not mind having to let them know if I needed the room cleaned, as I don't usually like people coming into my room during my stay anyways. The location was fantastic--such a fun neighborhood in the city. Surrounding food and coffee was top notch. My favorite way to get around was walking and renting the electric scooters.

I had no issues during my stay. The hotel itself made some creaky noises, but I sleep with white noise sounds anyways. The elevator was a little slow, but it's an elevator.

Great location, near a bus station, you can also walk to some spots if you're feeling like it, although the city is big so if walking expect at least a 30mn walk. There is a free and safe parking which is great, we did not use our car ar all during our stay here and left it in the parking. The staff was nice and so was the room, everything was clean and looked nice.

Nice hotel in the Marina District of San Francisco with underground parking. When the parking lot was full late at night, we were allowed to park on the main floor. Even if there aren’t any free spots, you can leave your car blocking someone else’s and leave the key with the person at the reception desk. Our room faced a wall, but it was very quiet outside, which we appreciated. The elevator goes straight to the parking lot, and there are vending machines with water/snacks on each floor. Everything was good!

It would be better if there were more parking spaces available for late-night arrivals

The room was exactly as advertised - it was large, with enough storage space and two comfy beds and chairs, so it was perfect for a couple. The location was great - in a very safe neighborhood and on Lombard street, with a secure parking garage in the basement at no extra cost. There was no breakfast, but plenty of other options are available within a few minutes' walk (we can recommend the Home Plate for large portions, and of course Peets!).

Our room was facing Lombard street so it was not exactly quiet; it did not bother my partner (who is not a light sleeper), but you may want to bring earplugs (it worked fine for me). The AC in the bathroom somehow never turned off, but closing the door kept the noise to a minimum.

Free, easy parking in crowded city.

We needed to switch rooms because one of our rooms was getting only heat, not air-conditioning. Initially, we were told that we could not change rooms until the next morning. But, after several calls, the manager got involved and immediately gave us a different room.

We have stayed here numerous times before. The price is always reasonable and it’s conveniently located for our needs. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully decorated.

I would normally rate this property higher than I did. However, the check-in was problematic and annoying. I have made the reservation and prepaid through an OTA. Upon check-in, my husband pulled out a credit card to pay for the $150 security deposit which is required. The attendant wouldn’t accept his card because it was not in the name of the person who made the reservation. That made absolutely no sense when he’s standing right there with ID available and obviously his credit card. What kind of policy is this?

The location is absolutely amazing and the facilities offer parking which is quite nice. The check-in, check-out process is very clear and quite easy. Across the street there are markets, laundromats, etc so the location makes it convinient.

We stayed there for 4 nights and the cleaning lady never visited our room, no trash were taken out(tea bags, napkins, etc not stinking things) which was weird because we saw the cleaning ladies go to other rooms. We didn't have the do not disturb outside of the door. Also we run out of coffee, tea and wasn't replaced, run out of toilet paper and had to buy. Not a very pleasant experience.

The biggest defects of this place is the windows facing the street; it's noisy outside. It's a shame the renovation didn't include soundproof windows; no facilities for making breakfast in the room, although there is a place for it; they dodn't offer breakfast

The place has clearly been recently renovated—at least the rooms. We stayed in a room facing away from the main street, and it was pleasantly quiet. The air conditioner, although older and a bit worn in appearance, worked surprisingly well—very effective for both cooling and heating. The bathroom was simple but spotless, with a bathtub and everything we needed. Cleanliness was impeccable—absolutely no complaints there. A major bonus: free private parking is included in the room rate, which is extremely rare in San Francisco. We had no trouble parking our Jeep, even late at night. The surroundings were peaceful, and the neighborhood felt safe and quiet—hard to find a better spot in the city for the price. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s a great value and definitely worth it. I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a clean, calm, and practical place to stay.

We were initially checked into a room that hadn’t been cleaned, so we had to return to the reception to get a new set of keys. With all our luggage and after a long journey, this was definitely an unpleasant start to our stay.

-The location was great and free parking was a bonus. You can leave the car at hotel and take Bus 28 to Golden Gate Bridge and Pier 39. -The room was clean and spacious.The staff was busy when we arrived. As we arrived a little bit earlier in the morning, the was no room available but still helped us park the car to the underground garage.
