The property is well maintained and clean and the room was comfortable. We mainly booked this place because of the on-site parking, which is almost unheard of in SF. We found a parking spot right after checking in and left the car in their garage the whole time. Even though the hotel is in a great area that feels very safe, we didn’t want to drive around while we were here and it was so nice knowing the rental was safe and off the street. Mel’s is right across the road and Walgreens right around the corner. Everything you want to see is a few miles away so either a bit of a walk or short Waymo ride away. We were so pleased with the hotel and we’ll definitely stay again next time were in SF!

The only fault was the bathroom could have done with another once-over by the cleaning staff. There were a few hairs in the floor and in the shower, and the body wash was completely empty. These things were such a small inconvenience though they didn’t affect our stay or enjoyment of the property.

Cow Hollow is a small, no frill, hotel on Lombard street with free parking and internet. We loved its central location. It is in the middle of Marina District, a walking distance to Pier 39, Presidio, Ghirardelli Square, Pacific Hight, Painted Ladies etc. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a car and were able to park in their parking garage. Both of the rooms we had were newly renovated, spacious and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. There are couple of breakfast places next to the hotel and Chestnut Street, one block north of Lombard, is full of restaurants and bars, teaming with young people over the weekend.

Everything. Huge room, large comfortable bed, perfect bathroom. My room had exquisite view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Palace of Fine Arts. It was wonderful to enjoy that magnificent view. I liked that the window opened wide for that cool SF air. I loved the free parking, and the lication is perfect, easily walk to a gazillion great places to eat and shop. Definitely a 10+ experience.

I loved the large window but do think tgere shoyld be sime type of safety railing; it would be too easy to fall out. Anyone with children, balance issues etc. Should stay well back if the window is open.

We drove a truck into the city and did not realize that the parking garage height was 6.6 feet. Our truck is over 7 feet. We were pleasantly surprised that the first floor/ lobby was 8 feet tall and we found a spot! We were on the 3rd floor and the room exceeded my expectations. It was clean, large and the bathroom was nice. You heard street noise, but you are in the city and we had no problem sleeping. I definitely will stay again because of the location and all the restaurants in the area.

I'm digging to answer this question. I would say the hallways to get to your room were too warm.

The excellent location provided ample opportunities for dining and entertainment within walking distance. The suite felt lavish and comfortable; we enjoyed relaxing in our own living room. Parking lot was free and convenient; we got around the city on the Muni (bus) system and WAYMO, so we never had to worry about parking our car once we parked it in the parking lot. This was a fabulous stay.

The in-room coffee was not to our liking. But we had a convenient hotel stairwell/exit that dropped us next door to Noah's Bagels, where the coffee was robust and superb.

Great location with nearby access to good restaurants and shops in an attractive neighbourhood. Easy public transport connections to most areas of interest and walking proximity to a number of interesting sights. We had no vehicle and felt no need for one here however there does appear to be good access to parking in the building. Comfortable and spacious room with a good bed, worked well for our 5 night stay. Reasonable value and helpful staff.

Room was on a busy street and not particularly well soundproofed. No electric jug/kettle for making tea, this is a common and annoying defect in most USA hotels despite being standard equipment almost anywhere else in the world.

Great, safe location. Clean room and bathroom. Free covered parking. Accessible to many restaurants close by. Bus stop close by. Friendly staff. Great views (window facing Lombard St). Older building but it has great personality and comfortable.

Bring earplugs if you are sensitive to street noise at night. It is a vibrant street with bars very close by. Bed had 2 functioning white pillows (1 per person if there is 2 of you). They do have decorative pillows but I personally never sleep on those because you’ll never know if the pillow case has been washed.

Kitchen was NOT well stocked. We purposefully got a suite with a kitchenette, but the only kitchen supplies were a few utensils, two frying pans, and one pot without a lid. No measuring cup, no lidded pot, no colander, no baking sheet/roasting pan, no cutting board, no mixing bowl, no dish-drying rack, etc. And the handle on the microwave was broken. We made do with what was there, but if we're paying for a kitchenette, it would be nice to have the supplies to use it.

Good location, good value for money, free parking is good and secure (parking garage opens with a card key). Fridge is NOT included in room, but can be requested at additional 5$ per day. Room safe is included for valuables storage. Breakfast is NOT included, but there are 2 good breakfast places right next door. Especially we liked Mel's Diner across the street, very good food and service. Overall - we liked this hotel.

The hair conditioner was out. Shampoo was almost out. The bathtub trim looked like it's about to break off. Would be good to add additional 'chain' type of inside locker for the door.

Staff were great and helpful, answered questions we had about transport and the area. Very helpful at checkout too as they stored our bags for us due to our very late flight times. Also gave us some informatoin regarding a bus tour that saved us money and was a brilliant way to see the city. Room was excellent, if a little noisey (face the main road) but that was not much of a problem to be honest. The facilities were excellent and bed very comfortable. We didnt need it but there is parking at the hotel as well. They were doing some renovating as we stayed there but that did not intrude on our stay at all.
