I recently stayed at this hotel and had a truly wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a warm and attentive staff who made sure everything was to my liking. The level of hospitality here is impressive—each staff member went out of their way to ensure I felt comfortable and well taken care of. One standout moment occurred when I had an issue with the television. For some reason, I couldn’t change the channel, and instead of just sending someone, the husband and wife team who run the hotel both came to my room to assist. They quickly resolved the issue and made sure everything was working perfectly. Their dedication to guest satisfaction was truly above and beyond! The hotel itself is spotless. The rooms are kept meticulously clean, and the common areas are just as pristine. It was clear that attention to detail is a top priority here, and it made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Between the exceptional service, the welcoming staff, and the cleanliness of the hotel, I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay!

Limited parking but there’s parking on the street, just look at the parking signs to avoid a parking ticket

Management was on top of everything during our stay. They were vigilant about who was on their property. They handled everything in a timely manner. They were good at communicating. The property was nicely maintained for a good price point.

At times, extremely hot water during shower.

Great location, close to downtown and the golden gate bridge. In a quieter part of town but still close enough for a short drive to most attractions. Loved that they had hand soap and body wash. Most other hotels don’t have this amenity. Parking is free but spaces are very tight and limited. Will not fit a car larger than a mid size suv

The parking spaces are tight but I appreciate it being free. I also think cleaning staff should clean rooms after 11 am on check out day. We were still changing when the cleaning person came in without knocking, it was 10 am.

The location was spot on. The motel was similar to other motor hotels that we have stayed at in SF. The manager was super helpful and even came up to the room to show me how to use the remote for the TV (there are two remotes and it's confusing). And parking was free!

The water pressure was terrible. Our room had a big soaking tub but after the dismal shower neither my wife or I could imagine how the tub could ever get full enough to enjoy, but the room was less than 100$ in a really good location and it was clean and the bed was comfortable, so what's to complain about?

It was a very comfortable and easy going place. We were pleasantly surprised about the quality of the mattress and linen, the bathroom size, and the commodity of the room. The staff is very friendly and the location is great.

The heater was a bit out of date and noisy and it was difficult to maintain a stable temperature in the room without switching it on and off. The bathroom could not be heated, which was a small inconvenience.

Comparing to other hotels that I stayed in the US, I would say the facilities and the amenities in the room is far better than the 3- and even 4-stars hotels. After a chilly walk around the Golden Gate Bridge in the summer, you can’t imagine how a air conditioner can save you. Also you would also see the microwave and refrigerator, which means you could buy the fresh deli from the Walgreens (though limited choices) just 1-minute walk away without concerning them going bad overnight. A super convenient public transportation and safe neighborhood also left a good impression.

No restroom access after checkout when picking up the luggage which is so annoying :(

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was sensible, with comfortable furniture and a working AC (may be due for cleaning), microwave, coffee maker, space heater, and fridge. The clean shower had excellent water pressure, and I appreciated the oversized closet, opening windows, and raised bed. The hard floors added a nice touch to the overall ambiance. With so many dining choices within a 10 minute walk, I enjoyed breakfast out. Walking distance to top attractions, like the Palace of Fine arts. Micromobility and bus options across the street. Located on the street to Muir Woods and much more. My car was secure during our stay.

The car park was perfect for our needs, but like most SF motels, a space is not guaranteed.

The front desk and the staff were excellent! They were very helpful and accommodated us with the early check-in! Gave us all the useful information, etc.

We wish they had an elevator! Just a minor inconvenience to go up one floor. The view from the room was not that great, but the location of this hotel was excellent as it is very close to the many scenic sites that you can visit on foot, and many restaurants and shops.

The room was clean, there was plenty of space in the bathroom, the backrest on the bed was a nice touch. The TV worked well, and there was a little desk for my laptop. The location was the real draw here - although it was a bit seedy right outside the motel, it is close to so many cool things.

The sink was kind of backed up, the bathroom door didn't stay open all the way (not great at night), my room was by the stairs and it was pretty noisy.

The owners were super kind. The visit was poor, the people in the town are angry and rude. The two owners were very memorable because they were very helpful and kind but not over bearing. The bed was comfy, room was clean, water pressure was great and water hot. My car got broken into in the onsite parking lot, but I left my window down… my bad, I was tired. Great stay, if I ever went back I’d stay here again.

Parking was rough!
