The hotel is charming in its vintage deco decor. Our room was large and had 2 nice sitting/reading chairs, a small kitchen with a Illy coffee maker, half fridge, and microwave. The bathroom was ample with very nice tile and fixtures. There was always someone at or near the front desk. The location was perfect for us. We wanted to be near the Presidio. There are lots of restaurants and shops on Sacramento and California St. We used Waymo and never had to wait more than 4 minutes for it to show up.

A very special location with very few hotels to choose from, but Laurel Inn delivers in all aspects despite the lack of competition! Its got a mixed vibe between a boutique hotel and comfy roadside motel. The rooms are spacious (both the bathroom and sleeping area), the beds are cozy, the staff are all friendly and helpful.

They offer complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby, but I suppose it would be nice to have an in-room option. Otherwise, there's really nothing not to like!

Great location, away from all the touristy stuff which is exactly what we wanted. We use live in the neighborhood but now come back to visit family. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, they let us store our bikes inside a locked room which was awesome when we weren’t using them. Parking was so easy, and love the in and out ease u like most hotels. Would definitely stay again when we’re back.

The only "bad" thing was the light at my desk did not work and wouldn't charge my phone either. there wasn't a lightbulb in the light fixture. and a strong chemical smell on the first floor landing of the stairwell? it was odd??? Otherwise it was awesome!

The hotel location was great! It was in a beautiful, upscale neighborhood. The hotel room was nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly. I appreciated the coffee, tea, and cookies in the lobby.

For the price, it would be nice to have breakfast included.

The entire place is styled beautifully. The location is great. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The room was elegant with a fantastic view. The front desk people were warm and accommodating. My best friend and I absolutely loved our stay!

Such a tiny thing... But the elevator was a little strange with a regular door in front of the elevator doors. Also it was a little pricy but it seemed worth it because it was a very safe area and it was so beautiful!

I was across from the elevator so there were noisy moments. The curtains don't completely close so light got in

It was close to my brother and we got the room earlier which was great.

Unfortunately they do not have breakfast and we did not know that there were repairs being done right outside our window.

The room was very clean and comfortable, with a view of the downtown skyline. The building feels cozy and local, with cozy, local restaurants and stores nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Good hotel with a very convenient location in the historic center. True, it is better to take a taxi to the famous embankment. Walking distance to Union Square and Chinatown. I liked the care of the staff, and that there is hot water and tea on the 1st floor.

The air conditioner is noisy. I use earplugs and could sleep. But without them, hardly anyone will fall asleep.
