Perfect location for South San Jose and the Almaden Valley. Close to Costco, Trader Joe's, and Whole Foods. Even closer to Safeway and a bunch of eating establishments. Easy access to HWY 85 so you can get almost anywhere easily. If you have time go walk around Almaden Lake and up the Los Alamitos Creek trail take advantage of this gem on the edge of the city.

Nothing, the place is great. We have stayed here before and came back with high expectations and were not disappointed.

Good & safe location with easy & free parking. I appreciated the walk-in shower. The lotions, soaps, shampoo, & conditioners were fully stocked in the bathroom wall and inside the shower. Breakfast was adequate and filling, and the food/dining area was clean well cared for. Nice soft pillows and a comfortable bed. Convenient location beside a nice outdoor shopping center where you could walk to find something to eat, which is a big plus. I have stayed at this location before & would recommend it.

My only issue was that no matter how I tried I could not turn off the fan. The switches on the wall indicated I had turned it off but it never stopped running. I know I could have called for assistance but I did not feel like having someone come into my room in the middle of the night. Next time I will check before going to bed. That was on me.

Clean room, no bugs, well working heat&cooling system, comfortable bed, easy to hook up to the apps offered on the tv, housekeepers were awesome, the quality shampoo,conditioner, body wash,& lotion dispensers in room complimentary of the hotel. Delicious breakfast hot and cold options free to all guests every morning.

Didn’t like how the walls weren’t sound proof, you can hear your neighbors easily. There wasn’t a pool or jacuzzi however there was a small gym. The dryer stopped working when I already used the washer so my clothes were wet couldn’t dry them however, the front desk staff reimburse me for the money that I put in the dryer, trying to work it.

The location to what I need to be close to. The facility ia new and comfortable and the room was quiet and spacious. The selection of food for the breakfast was more than adequate.

Honestly the only two things were both food and customer related and possibly a staffing issue. The early bird gets the cookies, on weekends the kids pretty much wipe them out as soon as they are out... especially in the summer with huge family groups using the location as their hub. Second, their needs to be more effort to clean away the full garbage containers during breakfast. While the food was plentiful, so was the trash, to over flowing on all the days we stayed.

During checking in they were giving us wrong rooms. First, they gave my husband a king room (I booked 2 queens), mistake was fixed and he left for work. Then I come in to the hotel and front desk gives me occupied room with people inside and I opened the room . Very unprofessional. Then they gave me a room with broken AC. So, long story short and 4 rooms later, I got a decent room. That was my check in experience (I booked hotel because I am recovering from the knee replacement surgery and my house don’t have AC).

I liked that the breakfast schedule was more flexible/extended than other hotels. They only took 50 dls as a holding deposit vs others hotels that take 200 dls and then have to wait 3/4 weeks for the deposit to be returned.

There was only one elevator working. It would have been nice to have less time waiting for it to come up or down. There could be more light in the rooms. Not enough light at night time.

The location, just off the 85 and Almaden Expressway is great when you need to do business or visit South San Jose and the Almaden Valley. The proximity to Almaden Lake, the Los Alamitos Trail, Trader Joes, Costco, Whole Foods, and Safeway are a plus. The breakfast was more than adequate and the staff seemed genuine in their attention and greeting.

Honestly, we have used this Hampton Inn several times in the past six months and encouraged family to stay here as well. I really have nothing negative to share.

The breakfast options were really goood (boiled eggs, omlette, fruits like banana apple and orange, yogurt, coffee, potato wedges, and meat options as well. The gym is really good as well but I don't think they had a swimming pool.

I did not enjoy my interactions with the staff, I could feel a sense of disinterest while answering the questions, i remember greeting them good morning (Which is small guesture but goes a long way) but they lady did not respond to my good morning and made a face in a way to proceed with my question.

I like how the hotel was situated close to many amenities and the freeway. The room had all the necessary comforts, such as a larger size fridge, and microwave available. Our room was located directly next to the side exit which made entering and leaving quick and easy. The breakfast was tasty! There was a good variety of foods available.

We were travelling with a soccer team for a tournament. I would've been nice to have a pool for the girls to swim in after the long hot days on the field. It would be nice if a bench was provided away from the exit door for smoker's to sit and relax.

Customer service was great.Room was very clean. continental breakfest was exceptionally good,well maintained.

Spooky instances with someone jingling door handle to room several times late at night.then phone in room rang afterwards with hang up when answered.inquired at front desk the following morning,apparently there was a mix up with booking with someone with the same name booked with the same room we were in for the same night but were staying for 2 nights instead of one night we were staying,overcharged for 2 nights.it all cane to light when I inquired about the spooky instance the following. Talk about a sleepless night!!!! It all got straightened out the following morning after I approached the staff at the front desk in the morning.WOW,what a experience. I'll be back,but hopefully without the drama next time I stay.
