The location is great! Right on the lake with restaurants and water sports available. Travis at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating.

The room didn't have a dresser for clothes or a table for us all to sit at. Several suitcases were set on the floor (only 1 suitcase rack), and 2 oversized chairs took up valuable real estate in the room. 4 smaller chairs with a decent sized table would be helpful. There is a nightstand and a very, very small side table. It was very crowded for 4 people, not much room to move around. 2 of us had to sit on the bed since there were only 2 chairs in the room.

The location and amenities were awesome for us, our son, and two grandkids! The staff was incredibly helpful. Example: we arrived after dark, and had difficulty finding our parking &room. After returning to the front desk for more directions, we were guided to our room and parking by the kind man from front desk, who'd run out to guide us in! Anastasia and Cheyanne at front desk were also the BEST! Thank you Beach Retreat! We'll be back!

The only thing we didn't like was no.hot water in our building for two nights. But it was handled so well, and with such care/concern for guests, that it was not annoying to us! The staff made arrangements to help our building's guests get showers. It was impressive to see how staff pivoted to accommodate those affected. The culture at Beach Retreat was refreshing to experience!

The beach is insane and it’s about 100 feet from your room even if you aren’t in a beachfront room. Crystal clear water, plenty of sand. It’s big, has loads of trees and sunshine. Lots of dogs (this hotel is dog friendly so tons of dogs around yay!) The best part is that tons of locals come there so it’s a good mix of people. The beach bar is top tier. Expensive but every drink was outstanding and you can’t beat the convenience.

Room was dark and dated. We liked the sliding door, but it just felt really bla. Pool and hot tub overrun with kids splashing.

The staff were super friendly and the communal smores around the campfire was fun for the kids! They really play to the cold environment with fires and extra heaters in the room. And of course the beach being close by is awesome. It's clean and well maintained

The bathroom was a little iffy. Weird smell, rust on the metal and a couple weird spots on the walls. The fireplace, while a really nice touch, gave off a really strong smell of burning dust after a few minutes of running. I tried it 3 times over the course of the day and had to turn it off each time because it filled the room with an acrid odor.

The property is right on the beachfront. It was immaculate. The inner courts were fantastic and beautiful. We had a room overlooking the lake. My mom had booked this property for our 30th anniversary for me and my husband and basically there was the room booked for us did not overlook the lake so they basically upgraded as as they knew it was our anniversary. You get s’mores that you can do at night time in the fire pits. The property is just immaculate.

There was nothing not to like about the property. It was perfect.

The location is amazing, and I was able to wake up to have my coffee on the beach with my dog. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. They are great about the pets. There were cool firepits to use in the evening, and cute little pre portioned smores kits free in the office.

There was a wedding happening just outside our room. That was beautiful, but they didn't do a good job cleaning up, we woke up to peoples leftover cocktails on our porch and table and vomit all over the grass just outside our door. The room could have been cleaner. We went to get ice just to find our icebucket full of mold. Our fireplace didn't work. The bathroom wasn't as clean as I'd prefer.

Location, location, location! The staff was also amazing. They were very laid back yet professional and on top of it. The drink are delicious at the sports bar and the food was just as good. We also did the water sports and having that on property made it fun and accessible. The rooms were very clean. I suggest beach front view(building B). So relaxing and fun for the kids as well

The pillows could have been more plushie but that’s about it. Everything was exceptional.

I thought the location was perfect. I wanted to get away for a couple days but didn’t want to be in the absolute chaos of Heavenly Village. This was a perfect spot. Very chill and right on the water. Great view of the sunset.

The music played pretty late so I didn’t get to fall asleep with the windows open listening to the waves but I was also going to bed by 10pm. I feel like a good time with music is expected in the summer months so it wasn’t too bad.

The location is amazing, but on my last day, which was a Friday, the beach was packed with people that didn’t seem like they were staying at the hotel. There was a DJ that was playing music by the bar area, but it was so loud that it wasn’t relaxing. I thought about staying an extra day, but choose a different hotel to stay at. This place is great during the week, but it looks like it gets inundated with partying on the weekend.

Room on the beach was lovely. Great view. Can get load when Tiki bar activities are going but didn't bug me as I was either out or at the tiki bar/on the beach at this time. Sideline pub was also nice. Jacuzzi was full of kids so didn't use it. But pool, beach and the lake was awesome. Walked to Heavily Village and back was nice and convenient. Was very clean with good friendly staff.

No assigned parking for rooms made it difficult to get a spot. Especially when there is a wedding and therefore alot of people parking there who aren't staying at the resort.
