The staff were super friendly and the communal smores around the campfire was fun for the kids! They really play to the cold environment with fires and extra heaters in the room. And of course the beach being close by is awesome. It's clean and well maintained

The bathroom was a little iffy. Weird smell, rust on the metal and a couple weird spots on the walls. The fireplace, while a really nice touch, gave off a really strong smell of burning dust after a few minutes of running. I tried it 3 times over the course of the day and had to turn it off each time because it filled the room with an acrid odor.

The location is amazing, and I was able to wake up to have my coffee on the beach with my dog. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. They are great about the pets. There were cool firepits to use in the evening, and cute little pre portioned smores kits free in the office.

There was a wedding happening just outside our room. That was beautiful, but they didn't do a good job cleaning up, we woke up to peoples leftover cocktails on our porch and table and vomit all over the grass just outside our door. The room could have been cleaner. We went to get ice just to find our icebucket full of mold. Our fireplace didn't work. The bathroom wasn't as clean as I'd prefer.

Location is great. within walking distance of many things. Safeway is across the street. Loved that it was right on the lake with its own beach. Room was very quiet and clean. We were on the 3rd floor with a partial view of the lake.

Elevator was small and made weird noises. No microwave in the room: There is one in the lobby so it worked out ok. Closet is small with only 6-8 hangers, only drawers in the room were in the night stands.

Room on the beach was lovely. Great view. Can get load when Tiki bar activities are going but didn't bug me as I was either out or at the tiki bar/on the beach at this time. Sideline pub was also nice. Jacuzzi was full of kids so didn't use it. But pool, beach and the lake was awesome. Walked to Heavily Village and back was nice and convenient. Was very clean with good friendly staff.

No assigned parking for rooms made it difficult to get a spot. Especially when there is a wedding and therefore alot of people parking there who aren't staying at the resort.

It was close to the beach ⛱️. The front desk is super nice when you checked in. The location is amazing it's close by to every restaurants. The pool and spa are great. The property surrounding its pretty clean.

The room carpet was a bit dirty. The bathroom didn't have lotion. The towels were pretty old. No microwave. I parked my car underneath the tree and the sap from the tree super sticky it's all over my car. The restaurant by the water didn't have great options. The calamari was over fried and crunchy and it's a small bowl for $19 not worth it.

Great location in the town, with beach/lake one side -- nice even in winter -- and amenities/restaurants in walking distance and a quick drive to the Heavenly lifts at California lodge. Also v helpful staff

Would have liked breakfast to start earlier from say 0700 or 0730 ready for an early ski start, and the coffee machine in the lobby was out of order. But no big deal. We got stuff from nearby. the Safeways is open 24/7 and has a Starbucks that opens from 0530

We loved the hotels location! Close to everything and beach in the back walking distance. My family also enjoyed the pool and complimentary s’mores. Beds were comfortable.

The bathroom and shower could have been cleaner. And our room did not have a table or microwave so it was difficult for us to eat a meal. And cable is outdated. Streaming should be available in all rooms. Might come back if there’s some improvements.

Lots of amenities, location was awesome but above all was staff. Nina at the front desk was awesomely helpful. In town for a funeral, I was a little frazzled with a long drive, 2 dogs and hubby. We needed to change rooms for a bigger one and she handled it like a pro, made it so easy. A large resort, super clean and a perfect location. Felt very safe when I needed to do laundry at like 10 at night. Thank you!

Only think was not ok was a lady at the front desk was rude to my mother wen she ask if she can borrow a phone to call us to let her know she was lost the lady only call us to ask if my mothers phone was in the room . We didn’t know my mother didn’t find her way back to the room with my Daughter on 29 degrees out side that wasn’t ok to not help her . But likely one of us staff out side my mother ask if she can borrow there phone to call us to go get her . So I thank u , ur out side staff very nice ppl

Loved that it was right on the beach and close to Safeway and lots of places to eat. Also loved that it’s dog friendly. They also have a nice pool and surrounding area that is beautiful at night, with all the lights and table-top fire pits. Beautiful property!

I didn’t like that check in was at 4 (although they did let us check in a little earlier). You pay for the whole day but can’t access your room until almost dinner time. Makes no sense, but it seems a lot of hotels operate this way.
