The property is well located with supermarkets close by. the facilities were good for self-catering. the pool and sauna were great after a day of hiking in the mountains. the room was clean and comfortable. it was great to have access to free laundry facilities in-house.

the concierge was a bit pushy. it would be nicer if they could just supply information about activities in the area.

I stayed in a one bed deluxe suite with a friend making use of the sofa bed. Plenty of space for two people, decent sized kitchen and bathroom, well decorated etc. A few niggles but nothing that really detracted from a great week. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend the 4hr long happy hour - food and cocktails both perfect, no skimping on size or quality. In ski season there is a shuttle and this year there was a shorter, dedicated 'lodging route' straight to California Lodge, max 15-20 min wait either end.

Easy check-in, everyone at front desk(s) were helpful. Located right on the lakefront so you could take a quick walk to the beach for great views. Great location in town- close to restaurants, stores, Nevada state line, and maybe 20 mins to Emerald Bay. Nice sized room with couch, stovetop, microwave, fridge. Bathroom had a lot of counter space. Shower spray head had an oddly wide spray radius. No room service but ordering from the restaurant downstairs & picking it up was easy enough.

It wasn't a bad experience but sometimes when you drove up to the valet it didn't seem like they were very "take charge" (like directing you where to go, or telling you how the process works). That being said, it was easy to get the car when you needed it- you just text the valet number and they text you back when the car is ready at the front.

All the kitchen settings were made of glass which was stressful when traveling with young children. I recommend having plastic plates and cups available

The rooms were comfortable but a little outdated. Our room didn't have a bolt lock but we still felt safe so that's a good thing and says a lot about the facility.

No complimentary breakfast. Sometimes we didn't want to leave the hotel for breakfast and the restaurant doesn't start serving food until 2pm I believe. We could have cooked our own breakfast cause a kitchenette was available but I am one of those people that does not want to cook on a vacation lol!

This is a big spot for time shares but it was a fantastic location at South Lake Tahoe, right across the street from the Red Hut for breakfast, next door to a Gelato place with an indoor and outdoor pool and two hot tubs. Had a lovely time!

The room was far away (it's a sprawling complex) from the front, valet parking folks always seemed overworked and it's maybe 20 or so years from feeling "new" but the room is comfortable and lovely and we had a great experience.

Location. Nice view of Lake Tahoe. Nice rooms with a cute mini kitchen with a stove, frig, sink, dishes, pots, pans. Nice hiking trails close by.

Although Valet service wasn’t too bad, we didn’t know there was only valet & there was a charge when we booked. Front desk needs improvement as far as being polite. If they are taking care of a customer, don’t jump to another customer or at least apologize if it’s really necessary. Then it turns out the service to that other customer takes awhile.

The amenities were great! Heated pool, warm jacuzzi, sauna, restaurant on premises. Nearby Whole Foods, other good eateries. Right on the lake, and rental activities. Overall, the hotel made for a super fun and comfortable experience. We enjoyed it!

Wish there were a Smart TV to stream movies and shows. There were dvd options only. I didn’t hate it, but kiddos were bugging for stream services.

Location was good. Close to some things but not crazy busy

Door was always stuck. Toilet was constantly running. Ran into maintenance staff on day 3 and he fixed it right away. Asked for a room near family when we made the reservation months ago but that did not happen. We had a long walk to other side of Building to help with our granddaughter

Loved the proximity to the beach and the various restaurants surrounding the resort.

The gift shop guy was rude and impolite when we entered, not knowing he was about to leave for lunch. He could have politely told us, and we would have understood. Did not appreciate his tone or body language when he spoke to us.
