The bed was extremely comfortable and surprisingly the room was very nicely decorated too. The staff were all very amazing. Will be coming back for sure. We come here a few times a year and this is so nice that I will be coming back again.

I wish they had a coffee maker but it's not a big deal. You can just go to the office to get coffee if you need it. Also, I wish they had a hair dryer. I needed it because I like to shower before bed, so I had to wait for it to dry to sleep lol. That's about it. This place is again, really nice so there aren't any serious complaints. Just things I wished for hehehe.

Sheryl was a pleasure to me. I will go back because of her friendliness. I can also take my dog there which is amazing. The price was great. The room was as we expected. The bed was comfortable .

my only problem was I drive a truck and first thing in the morning I had two cars that did not pull forward enough in their spots that made it impossible for me to get through the parking lot. I was not happy about that, but that had nothing to do with the hotel staff or the hotel itself, just The patrons. 😞

Our stay at Bluebird Inn was fantastic. The Inn is about 5 minutes from the Heavenly Town center, and within walking distance of the casinos. The rooms were very clean, there was no issue with loud guests or neighbors and you could not hear the main road from our studio in the back. The facilities were quaint and small, but they offered morning coffee and a laundry area for post-beach days. But the best part about the entire stay was the staff. They were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. When I travel back to South Lake, Bluebird will be my first choice!

The female owner is very kind. They were happy to keep my carrier bag after check-out and even served me delicious Hawaiian coffee. The location is just perfect. It connects directly to the lake across the street, and you can buy everything you need at CVS. It's also nice that there is a Whole Foods Market and Safeway within a 2-3 minute drive. I recommend here as a cost-effective accommodation for those traveling to Tahoe alone rather than with a family.

It is adjacent to a road, so some noise from cars and heaters at night. If you are not sensitive, you probably don't need to worry too much.

Great location! It's right across the street from CVS, Heidi's Pancake House, and other good eateries. Price of the room was reasonable too. The staff was very helpful and friendly too! I'd like to give a shout out to Pete for helping me with the TV input to get my ps4 hooked

I dont like the $150 deposit. Not a fan of my money being held hoatage.

We booked this last minute. Right close to down town South Lake Tahoe. Super convenient location. Close to whole foods. Had a washer/dryer which was a god send. The bed was HUGE. A/C was cold (which after car camping was heavenly). Not to mention the staff were great. Easy check in and out process with texts. Never had such great communication and care with a property. Will stay here again! Thank you bluebird!

The shower can be a little small but didn’t bother us

The hosts were very helpful and attentive to our need. We had a pull trailer and they helped us park it and get it out when someone blocked us in. The room was nice. Had been remodeled

The cable/satellite system was very hard to maneuver. The remote really difficult Nothing to set things on in shower. Small lite tiny shelve Very small refrigerator

The rooms were comfortable and clean. I also appreciated its proximity to the grocery store.

We arrived 15 minutes early to check in and there was a groundskeeper who was rude to us about getting our key a few minutes early. Also, the inability to leave our dog crated in the room was inconvenient in the winter when there was no outdoor seating for her.

Great location for exploring the south and east sides of Lake Tahoe. Easy access to main roads and close to several popular beaches in the east.

Narrow access to parking spaces which can become an issue when there are many visitors. Also, you may or may not successfully get the self-check in code through SMS --- which means you better arrive early enough (by 10pm definitely) to meet staff and get room keys.

The room was clean with a comfortable bed. Air conditioning and separate small fan for air circulation. Two nightstands. Hot shower. Nice long table top with a chair and TV. Refrigerator and microwave. We slept great.

The refrigerator didn't have a small freezer for our ice packs. There was no ice machine. The front door had a loose deadbolt. The motel is under renovation which we didn't mind, but others might be put off. We think this motel will be really nice once the renovation is complete.
