Hot tub is great! <3 Really good reliable WiFi.

This is not out in the middle of nowhere by any means but far enough from the ski resorts that it is a little inconvenient if you don't want to drive in the snow/deal with ski resort parking. Would be perfect if there is some kind of hotel shuttle service.

Great rooms and location.

There was a big group of people at the pool, adults and kids (guess all were hotel guests). They were shouting, the adults drinking alcohol with wine bottles next to the pool, occupying all chairs and free places, even when they went to have dinner to the game room, left their stuff in the pool chairs and occupied the entire game room. They came back later, children were left alone eating in the pool, did not even left clean towels for the rest of the people, no place to stay either in the pool nor in the game room. We called the concierge, they said they couldn’t do anything. Might not go back.

The furnishings were updated and attractive, though minimal, e.g. a single leather desk chair and bed. Very comfortable bed with adequate number of pillows. Lovely fragrant bath products. Excellent location. Walking trail along lakefront directly across from hotel. Safeway market and cafes less than 1/8 mile from hotel. 2 miles to large Marina and restaurants. Though located on Hwy 50, main road through town, less commercial activity near this location so quiet in evening and morning.

Air conditioning and heating system very loud when in operation. Could not adjust fan which was so loud that I was compelled to shut off air conditioner to be able to sleep.

Location is the best for this place. Nice and tidy place to stay with all amenities available like pool, gym, hot tub, etc. They are conveniently located right of the banks of South Lake Tahoe right beside the road. We took a lake facing room and had a good view of the lake. You can just cross the road and access the lake. There are mane eateries nearby which are good and you can rent a bike as well from the property. Overall it was a positive experience and we enjoyed our stay here. We will definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a lake side accommodation in South Lake Tahoe.

The hairdryer in our room was not working. We were able to detect this problem at around 7 in the morning but couldn’t get it fixed or replaced as housekeeping was not available they early in the morning. Whereas I understand the availability that early in the morning, but it could have been replaced with an extra piece by whoever is available from the authorities. But that’s not a complain, just a point to be noted.

You cannot beat the location. The beds were quite comfy. Parking is easy. The pool and the hot tub seemed good though we did not use them.

The receptionist did not configure our keys properly so we couldn't enter the building. Even after walking back to the front desk and having the keys re-configured, we ran into this issue a second time. Went back to the front desk and on the third try, it still didn't work. I probably closed 10% of my daily exercise ring while trying to figure this out. At the end we gave up and tailgated others into the building.. Luckily, the key let us into our room.

The place was absolutely comfortable and the staff was friendly. The room was spacious. The facilities were exactly as advertised. Location was amazing. You can see the lake from anywhere inside the hotel. Walking distance from Safeway, restaurants and cafe. Beach access right across the street.

There was no coffee in lobby in morning. This is my personal pet peeve. The coffee machine in the room was not clean to my standards. The other problem was bed was not as comfortable as some of the other rooms in a similar budget that I have stayed in.

Staff at check-in / out were very friendly & accommodating. The room was pretty, very clean; the bed was mostly comfortable, nice sheets, pillows & towels. Building is secure requiring room key scan to enter. Great lakeside location away from crowded Stateline traffic & noise (unless you like that sort of thing), with lake views from the balconies. Good restaurants close by within walking distance.

My only minor complaint was with the water pressure in the shower, don't know that I could have washed shampoo out of my hair if I needed to; it probably would have taken quite a while to fill the tub for a bath. Quite a bit of traffic noise during the day with glass slider door open, but quieted down later at night; couldn't be heard with slider door closed.

We loved the location. The hotel is close to a lot great food and activities, but it does not feel like it is right in the middle of all the crowds. It's just a short bike ride to get to all those things. Hotel Azure actually loans you beach cruiser bikes if you'd like to borrow them. We took them up on this. The room itself was on the top floor and very quiet. We never heard the guests on either side of us. The patio with the view of the lake was so nice!!!

Occasionally we could hear the guests across the hall opening/closing their door. The carpet is pretty dated and appeared to have some heavy stains on them. While you're not right in the middle of all the action in South Lake Tahoe, you are still VERY close. If you are looking for something more remote and romantic, try looking at another area of the lake. There are a lot of travelers coming/going through this area during the summer.

The location was perfect! Right across from the lake and close to many restaurants and shops. The view right outside the hotel was also stunning. We were able to take ‘Lime’ scooters to any locations that were farther than a 10 minute walk. The hotel was also very clean and tidy. And the amenities provided, laundry room, pool, hot tub, and bikes were also very helpful to our stay. The pool and hot tub were so nice to relax in after a day at the nearby beaches.

I don’t think there was really anything I didn’t like. The stay was perfect. The hotel does not offer housekeeping during your stay but that wasn’t much of an issue, me and my husband didn’t really need it, but if that is something you would want I would consider this. Breakfast is also not provided but I didn’t mind this either, you do get discounts at nearby restaurant locations instead.
