Lakeland Village was pretty much as described and expected - rustic and charming; great location only yards from the beach and walking distance to restaurants, Whole Foods, Safeway, CVS, etc.; on site parking and transportation to downtown and back every hour during the day; courteous, professional and very helpful staff; clean and well appointed rooms; etc. My issue, however, is with the very undependable WiFi, internet and phone service. I was unable to access WiFi and internet in the first room I was assigned and when the tv stopped working I was moved to another room. WiFi and internet were more reliable but far from 100% and I was never able to make phone calls. All that being said and the fact its a little pricey, I probably would stay at Lakeland Village again if I get the opportunity to visit South Lake Tahoe.

Unreliable and mostly nonexistent WiFi, internet and telephone access! Also, the building where I stayed was being renovated so it was very noisy at times.

There are two older gentlemen who i enjoyed running into each day. So friendly. Even with my negative notations below- the good warmth and hospitality far outweigh everything. We will be customers again for many summers to come.

The small AC in our room didn't work and the people before us left seafood of some sort clogged in the garbage disposal. Our room smelled terrible the first few days. The beautiful view made up for it though. And the front desk staff offered to come pour bleach in the drains to try and help combat the smell. The parking was difficult only because one large area was taken up by construction vehicles- but it never caused an issue that we could not find a spot...so it really wasn't that bad either.

Loved our particular unit (463). The gardening all around us brought lots of attention thanks to Howard! The unit was clean and was not what we expected. Very pleased with the location to everything.

Only one thing......No blow dryer. We didn't pack one because usually one is provided. Had the wet hair look for 5 days :-(

I loved the price and check in and check out process Quick, easy, no hassle. All the Staff was awesome!

I wish the parking situation would have been better, but the staff at front desk did what they could for us to accomadate for us a couple more passes for our 8 people (5 cars) in our 4bdrm+ Loft stay. Thank you. A few more extra trash bags in each of the bathrooms and kitchen would be helpfull. And maybe a note telling people to call house keeping when trash bin doesn't close-- just so trash bin doesn't stay propped open for critters to get into. The couches seating cushions are getting worn, appearance is fine but sink way down in them when you talk a seat, but we didn't spend that much time on them.

We were very impressed with the location which is very close to all of the facilities of ski run blvd, heavenly village, etc. We stayed in the 2 bed with a loft unit (number 510) which was fantastic! Loads of room, well stocked with all of the bits and bobs you need for a family vacation and cooking in the unit. The townhouse was nice and quite with only minimal sounds from hwy 50 and had a nice views (but not of the lake).

All units are different and owned by others so the spec varies and you cannot select any specific unit if going through the resort or an agent. one bedrooms are in the main building and right on hwy 50 so quite noisy. Having said that, the staff at the resort were wonderful and allowed us to move to another available unit that was best suited for our family.

Great location. Met our expectations

Stayed in studio with loft, spacious and clean. Loved the added touch of lemongrass toiletries and lavender balm. Enjoyed the heated pools, private beach. Regret not using the fire pits. Staff friendly and helpful. Free Shuttle bus very handy

The bed was not the most comfortable. Tv in room did not work. Sauna opens at 8am but not preheated so did not have time to use morning of departure.

Location is amazing love the lakefront access. Accommodations were nice and love all stuff in the kitchen you have access to. Multiple fans available as it got quite warm due to weather

Wanted a later check out (which is 10am) I was transferred to housekeeping (it’s up to them if I’m allowed a later checkout per the front desk) and they never answered after trying for a good half hour to hour.

We loved the location and customer service. The unit was very nice and clean. We loved having a private beach with chairs, etc. the pool and the hot tub are great.

The toilet in our unit, downstairs, never flushed well and became clogged. The one plunger in the unit didn’t work but the maintenance was great. The bed sheets are small and so not stay tucked. There aren’t enough blankets for the cold bedroom. The couch was terribly uncomfortable, so bad that my neck has a dislodged disk. The bed was not comfortable it was too loud and bouncy as well as not comfortably for more than a nap.

This was my 2nd time staying here and I absolutely love the location! Being next to the lake 👍!!! Staff was friendly as well.

Property should have parking passes for more vehicles not just 1 (especially if you bring a big family)! Also, couches were a bit old it’d be nice if there was some remodeling done inside not just outside the property.
