From the office staff to the breakfast staff, everyone was pleasant and helpful. The beds were comfy and the room had toiletries, towels and pillows aplenty. Plenty of free parking around the hotel. There was a nice, hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, muffins, breads of all kinds, hot oatmeal, cereal, hot and cold beverages, etc. The breakfast room was well kept and quickly cleaned as people left the room. The hotel is 1 mile from a big box store and discount store, and just behind the hotel there are plenty of places to eat and a grocery store. The hotel is easy to get to off Hwy 101.

Property has a nice pool, it is close to a large outlet mall and many food places. It is clean and comfortable. Breakfast with a lot of options.

A lovely room with a big bed! Me and a friend were sharing to keep the costs low so the large bed was really appreciated. Because it was so cheap, I was expecting less but I was pleasantly surprised! Clean, comfortable, came with a fridge and a microwave plus a little coffee maker, towels of various sizes plus shower gel/shampoo/conditioner. Breakfast was simple but better than expected. Teas, coffees, juices, cereals, breads, muffins, bagels, eggs then a rotation of pancakes/sausages/french toast etc... Oh and they have a couple of waffle machines! As a vegetarian I was catered for.

Would love a kettle in the room (I'm British and therefore a tea drinker). I could hear the guests upstairs, but I think that's because they were extremely loud. Having said that, I still slept. A few more fruit options/plain yogurt at breakfast would've have been great.

Our stay at Hillstone Inn Tulare was very pleasant. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment for rest. The staff were attentive and professional, ensuring a positive experience. The amenities were thoughtfully provided, catering to essential needs effectively. Overall, Hillstone Inn Tulare offers a commendable stay for its guests.

On a less positive note, some of the mattresses seemed worn and overly soft, which affected the quality of sleep. Additionally, the beds were a bit short for taller guests. The breakfast offerings could be improved by including more vegan options. Addressing these issues would enhance the overall comfort and satisfaction of the guests.

Tastefully remodeled. Clean colorful and functional room. Detail of remodel was remarkable. Rarely have I seen paint, molding, fixtures so well done. The bathroom was very modern and sliding doors to the shower where 1st rate and smooth to slide. Showerhead was updated, but water flow was reduced. Probably due to district water restrictions in summer. USB outlets and a useful alarm clock. Lots of towels. Eight small pillows for a king bed.. Air conditioner was only thing old school. A little loud - but at least it offered to turn on fan Automatically or always on, we chose to leave it running to drown out some surface street noise. Breakfast was excellent, with 2 kinds of eggs - cheese w/ bacon 🥓 or straight up scrambled. French toast sticks w/ syrup. Waffles and cereals muffins too. And fruit. Surprised me all around.

Air conditioner. Pillows too firm. Elevator was slow...doors moved like glaciers.

The room looks like the pictures on the website. The room was clean. I was told upon arrival that I booked a pet room. I'm asthmatic and couldn't stay in a pet room. My room was changed with no problem. Thanks.

I didn't like the location of the room. High traffic area. You can hear a lot of conversations as people walk past the room or wait for the elevator. We were in room 104. It's located at the beginning of the walkway on the first floor. It's across from the elevator. It's across from the ice machine. It's located feet's from the parking lot. Since we were on the bottom floor, we could hear the people walking and talking above us on the second floor. Needless to say, we heard a lot of noise.

Loved the design of the room, features, and modern finishes. Wood shutters as window coverings, mirrors, towel shelves, smart phone connection ports, bathroom sink & vanity, and lots of usable table space, and underneath space -- Awesome! And a fridge and microwave in addition was great. This type of room would be good for people who need extended stays.

Perfect stop for a night on a road trip. Very clean, funky decor, helpful staff, and easy walk to pick up convenience store basics. Had a fun energy when we arrived, lots of people from all over checking in late, but was quiet all night and morning.

No complaints. Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the placement of the toilet paper roll in the bathroom. Breakfast was early (6-9am) so we missed it in order to sleep.

I liked the room, modern remodel, clean (small) bathroom, excellent mirror lights, powerful (although noisy) AC. No nasty carpet =), pets welcome (didn't need it - this time, but great to know) Comfy bed, tons of pillows. Minifridge, elevator, ice machine, good breakfast with more options than just continental. Clean place with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location along the freeway and tons of restaurants, stores, gas stations around.

It’s so modern looking and best part so clean. This is by far the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in US. Thumbs up to the cleaner that maintains the room cleanliness, I have made respect. Although I didn’t get to use the pool, but it looked really awesome and I was so tempting to use it. The breakfast was pretty good for a typical American hotel breakfast, but they serve hot food which is the better version, includes scramble eggs, sausages, and make your own waffle. This is such a good value.
