I was visiting Sequoia National Park with my partner, and we booked at Wyndham Visalia for one night. We were upgraded to a king suite free of charge. The restaurant/pub stayed open late, allowing for a late-night drink. The room was pretty spacious, with a separate bedroom. Facilities were amazing, the bed was comfortable and the amenities in the bathroom and overall room, made our lives a lot easier. The cafe downstairs was handy for a quick coffee if you want something other than the regular coffee pods provided in the room. We checked out the following day but decided to rebook for another night. We got a similar room; however, the air conditioning wasn't working, and it started heating up. In the middle of the night, I called the reception, and the front desk receptionist immediately brought us two high speed pedestal fans to mitigate the problem. It was kind of them to acknowledge the problem and come up with a speedy solution. The following day, we realized that the coffee machine was leaking, and we couldn't get our early morning coffee as well. But when the problem was raised, the receptionist politely apologized for the inconvenience caused and assured that they would look into it asap. We were checking out of the hotel, so we didn't bother her much, but I have to appreciate the politeness and hospitality of the staff managing the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling to Sequoia or King's Canyon for a pleasant stay.

As mentioned above, the room on the second night was having air conditioning issues and the coffee machine was also broken. Therefore, I would request the staff to properly ensure that all amenities are fully functional before handing out keys to the room. Not everyone will be appreciative of small errors that may happen, so it is best to avoid these situations altogether.

When we arrived at our first room the air conditioning was barely functioning and it was 104 outside and extremely warm in the room. We turned it down and 2 hours later it was still hot. We called the front desk and they immediately moved us to another building and another room-nicer than the first one. It was already cold when we walked in. The staff never hesitated a moment to make things better and checked after a few hours to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. Definitely would stay here again!

Very quiet on my mid-week stay in February on the 4th floor. In the 25 hours I was in the room, I never heard another guest, not in the hallway and not through the walls or ceiling. Amazing. I was on the side opposite the freeway, and heard no noise from outdoors. Room was very clean and well-maintained. Bed was comfortable, mattress with good support but not too hard. Blankets were warm enough for room temp. Towels were soft. I don't usually eat the continental breakfast at a hotel, so I appreciate that breakfast costs extra here so that I'm not paying extra for other people's breakfast. Lighting was well-placed and easy to control. I basically just slept here, so I can't comment on the gym, pool, TV, etc.

No controllable bath fan. Room temp was pre-set and couldn't be adjusted, but window could be opened a crack for fresh air. Blankets were too short. I had to untuck them and pull them up a foot toward the head of the bed, and then my feet were just about sticking out from under them, and I'm not tall. Location is near airport but far from downtown.

Very friendly staff. Close to Sequoia Park (about 45 min drive to entrance, 2 hours drive to the Sherman Tree). Well equipped with huge fridge in the room, fitness center, outside and indoor pool. Furniture and style a bit older, but everything was clean, well working and comfy. Bathroom renovated. Our room was facing the indoor pool- upside: it was very quiet. Downside: no daylight. I would still recommend this room if you stay for 1-2 days only as other rooms might be more noisy due to the two highways close by.

Great central location for visiting Sequoia and King's Canyon. When we checked into our room, the AC wasn't working properly. We notified the front desk staff, who had an engineer come to check on it within minutes. He was unable to fix the issue, but they upgraded us to a nicer room with very cool air. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy with our stay.

No free breakfast was provided. Ice machines were broken or out of service on several different floors.

A pleasant hotel. We were accommodated in a side building, not the main one – the common areas of this building (hallways, elevators, staircases) are a bit neglected. However, the room was clean, well-equipped, and had a nice bathroom. We also made use of the pool. And now for the bonus – the hotel is far from the city center, which means it's also far from restaurants. So, we decided to have dinner at the hotel bar – and it was delicious! Great drinks and beer too. Encouraged by this meal, we had breakfast at the hotel restaurant the next morning, and it was one of the best breakfasts we had during our two-week trip.

The staff was very helpful and attentive from checkin. We did the online checkin ahead of time so it was a breeze. We mostly used the hotel as a place to sleep while we explored downtown Visalia, but we did do a pool day and pretty much had the pool to ourselves.

The ice machine on two of the three floors of our building block weren't working. To get to the pool we had to go a bit of a roundabout way to make it there from the right entrance from our building.

I really liked just about everything about this hotel. The room was super nice and clean, the bathroom was spacious, the water pressure was wonderful, the shower head has multiple settings, the TV has lots of channels, everyone was super nice, the restaurant food was delicious, the bed was comfortable with an outlet right next to it, microwave and fridge and wardrobe, and it was super affordable. Overall wonderful stay!

It was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful

Didn’t clean the room daily but we could’ve asked and they would have. I wanted the room colder but I guess m version of cooler room is different from everyone else. My misunderstanding when I read about the amenities I thought hot breakfast was included in the price of the room and when we went unless we went to another spot we paid for what we ate. Other than that is was a nice stay, I’d stay again.

I liked the location, with the nice big park across the street. The building is really nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff was super helpful. It smells clean and inviting as soon as the front doors open. The cafe was convenient. The indoor pool is one of the biggest I've seen in a hotel. I appreciate that the staff keeps up on the towels and cleanliness throughout opening hours. The room was spacious and I really like the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf tea and coffee provided. The bed was very comfortable and the heating system maintained a comfortable temp throughout my stay. It was also very quiet, I heard very little noise from inside the hotel and very little from outside, even though we were next to an airport.

The hot tub was down. This is the third time in a row a hotel hot tub has been down during my stay. Bad luck! The vending machine was empty but there were 2 bottles of water provided and the snack store had beverages available, so this was a minor inconvenience.
