Property was nice and clean, and generally up to date. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Amanda, in particular, was extremely helpful to us as we were planning to visit the Sequoia NP, and she updated us on what was closed/open and the must-see areas. We probably would have wasted half our day otherwise.

Bath towels felt a little rough, and our room got a bit stuffy, nothing that opening the window couldn't fix.

Property is in a good location, not in the heart of the city, but still a short drive away. The staff is friendly, especially Amanda, who was very conversational and even gave recommendations for things to see and do during our stay.

The fan in the bathroom of our room was a little noisy, but nothing to complain about.

We liked everything. First and foremost the person that checked us in, her name is Kim, was wonderful, so efficient, friendly and helpful, she went above and beyond for us. The room was lovely and clean and spacious with comfy beds. The breakfast was nice and the whole facility seems nicely maintained

Staff were friendly and were really helpful with local recommendations. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was great! You could make your own waffles which went down a storm with our children.

The place was clean and well kept. Staff there was really nice. The free upgrade was unexpected, but 100% welcome. All in all a great vacation.

The view was kinda meh, just dirt and planes. Elevator had trouble closing. That's about it.

Check-in, Room was exceptional.

There was a major problem with my room key in the morning. The key-card would not open the door after I had gone down to lobby to pickup my breakfast and coffee. I had to return from room to front desk 3 times to have card re-programed. Finally, the receptionist had to come up to room to disable lock so I could enter room and eat my cold half eaten meal and get my things together for checkout. Apparently, maintenance worker was not available so receptionist had to take care of front desk and get me into room. This unfortunate problem did spoil an otherwise very good experience.

My room was clean and comfortable and inviting when I arrived. The lady in the breakfast room went above and beyond to make sure everyone got what they wanted and did it with a big smile.

It was my birthday 01/01 and the front office clerk was kind enough to give me her bejeweled pen! Purple at that! Such a nice gesture! Can’t remember her name but she worked the graveyard shift, we checked in really late/early 01/01. I still have the pen and receive wonderful compliments when I whip it out! Great bday present from your kind front desk clerk!

So far from everything

We were given a free upgrade! The room was spotless and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful! I will stay here again the next time I visit Sequoia National Park!
