The first thing I noticed was how clean the facilities and rooms were maintained. The moment I opened the room door I could smell how clean it was. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were soft. I appreciated there was a microwave in the room as well! We stayed for several days and that was very helpful at nights when the kids got hungry. Air conditioner worked great! During our stay it was well over 105 outside and our room stayed very cool. It is close to many shopping centers and places to eat. The staff were friendly and let us check in a bit early. Housekeeping gave us extra towels without having to ask. The breakfast was decent, with many choices and restocked as needed. Relatively close to Sequoia National Park and Kaweah River. Very impressed with how well maintained the hotel is kept.

Behind the hotel and the surrounding area had many homeless, definitely not somewhere you’d want to wander around at night. Also the pool was slightly underwhelming and maintained a greenish hue.

The breakfast made our stay easy. We were in town for a sporting event. So the breakfast options were great. Healthy food choices, although there wasn't any bacon, but there was other protein. The only thing I disliked was the elevator doors it slams closed so that was annoying. Considering out room was next to the elevator. I only expected to hear the "ding" from the elevator. But it was the metal door slamming closed that woke me up.

I liked that the rooms are clean but there is definitely some more updating that needs to be done. The room furniture is new, sheets were clean, rooms very spacious and staff very nice. Free breakfast was good and had the expected breakfast items. I would stay here again.

The halls and doors going into the rooms were dirty….. not sure why. Luckily the inside of the rooms were nice.

Size of room, overall Newark well maintained hotel, clean rooms, very friendly staff, free parking, good location to reach national parks. Sequoia is 1h away.

Breakfast was served in single use plastic plates and cutlery, it’s quicker for the staff, but not sustainable.

The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Loved the desk area and the sofa. Convenient location. The breakfast was good.

The breakfast to alternate each day the hot food. Like sausage one day, bacon the next. Something different. The pool didn’t appear clean at times and there are no chairs or loungers by the pool.

Quiet, Comfortable room. Conveniently close to restaurants, shopping and within reasonable driving distance of Sequoia National Park. Easy to find location. Satellite TV would not connect to the service in room. Called desk for assistance. Building super arrived in a matter of minutes and reset the receiver and apologized for the inconvenience.

Regulating the room temperature was challenging. Was too warm most of the time. Had to shut off the thermostat so the room would be comfortably cool enough for sleeping. If left on the it would become too warm disturbing sleep or if the temperature were turned down too cool--air conditioning came on.

Standard holiday inn

Pool and hot tub completly dirty. Water weren't cleaned for months.. Plus when we got to our room it was still being cleaned so for some reason they let us wait for 10 minutes before they gave us a different room

We were in the area for the trophy cup race at thunderbowl raceway and unfortunately I came down with the flu on Friday evening and spent Saturday in bed except for going out for dinner in the evening so husband can eat. The bed was undoubtedly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel. Even better that my expensive sleep number bed

The parking was a little small in the well lit areas. We used IHOP parking one night

I loved the large walk-in shower, and the attention to little details, like the bench large enough for two large suitcases, hooks above for hats/coats, plus a closet.. The best was that there was easily accessible outlets and USB ports for charging devices on each side of the bed. Everything was clean, large enough to not feel cramped, and very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful too! Will definitely recommend to others.

The website showed turkey sausage available for breakfast, but they only had pork, and the tatertots were a bit overdone. Overall it was very good though. The A/C unit in the room worked well, but was a bit noisy.
