Everything. Rooms were beautiful, clean, and cozy. Both restaurants onsite had delicious food and drinks. Lots of fun activities (e.g., hiking, biking, shopping, eating, fishing, catching a sporting event at the stadium, etc) to do in Denver, CO. Finally, the Halcyon staff were always positive, engaging, and gave a lot of good advice on things to at the hotel or outside of the hotel. Overall experience was an ‘A++’!

We liked pretty much everything: the room, the location, the pool, Cherry Creek itself. The staff was very nice and helpful. The food in the restaurant was much better than usual hotel food and the staff was nice. We were there for 6 days.

Our king bed was too soft, which is hard on the back. We were hoping for a balcony for the 6 day stay, but they weren’t able to pull that off for us. Maybe next time. The WiFi was terrible. Unfortunately we didn’t say anything before we left, because then the woman that checked me out told me we could have had access to the VIP password. That was particularly disappointing over a 6 day stay.

This place is attractive, convenient and easy to get around in. The location, the staff, the shuttle service, the rooftop view, the pool, hot tub and bar on the rooftop, the turntable & albums in the room, the restaurants in the hotel, almost everything was tremendous!

The bathroom could have been better - the shower head dripped at night, the conditioner smelled so terrible I dumped it out. The room was big enough but didn't have room for any drawers or out-of-the way places to put our suitcases to use as drawers. Also, the rooftop bar isn't open and operating often enough, and I can't remember the last time a hotel had a pool and hot tub but didn't let people use it after sundown.

The additional amenities of the roof top pool and hot tub, able to view the Mountains in the distance, walkable community within the 16 blocks, close to the Natural Museum of Science and the Botanical gardens, they have a car to be reserved to transport you within 3.5 miles, they also have a "gear garage" room to check out bicycles, umbrellas, cameras, games, records for the record players in the rooms, some rooms have an incredible terrace, the comforts were endless. The room was large and the bed comfortable. I was traveling with a large dog they were very accommodating. The quality Italian steakhouse, which is right off the lobby is fantastic I also enjoyed he chilled/hot/carbonated water dispenser with liter bottles in the elevator lobby on each floor

The hotel restaurant called Local Jones was mediocre

Great location. Hotel has a fun quirky vibe with the little details in the rooms and in lobby such as board games, record player, cocktail maker. Great rooftop.

No shower cap in bathroom. Room was a bit smaller than expected. Robes were a nice touch, but no slippers, would have been nice to have since the floor felt cold.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Lobby was inviting with couches and games. Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Free Wine from 3-6. Bartender, Chuck went out of his way to make a drink he'd never made. Rooms are gorgeous with a record player and records to listen to. Roof top pool and views are awesome as well. Valet was very informational about parking where and costs, which allowed us to save some $. Definitely coming back in the Summer!

The only issue we had was with the cleanliness of the mugs and glasses in the room. We did call for new ones, but the ones they brought were even more dirty. We ended up washing them in the sink. :)

All staff were so helpful and friendly. Beds and pillows were so comfortable. Rooms and facilities were lovely. Free coffee and happy hour were a nice touch. Location was very nice

Pool was very crowded. They allow non residents to book and use the roof terrace and it was packed our whole stay so we couldn’t get sunbeds.

communication between Booking.com and the hotel did not seem to work. I modified my reservation in January from 3 nights to 2 and the hotel claimed they did not receive that change. They tried to charge me a no show charge for the night I had cancelled in January but fortunately I had the emails showing the changes to the reservation and they removed that charge.

The hotel is very nice, and super well located. The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly and very responsive. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Muffins and coffee in the morning are a special treat.

The price is pretty high. The rooms are pretty small.
