My husband and I made a last minute decision to come to Delaware because our flight to Florida got delayed and then canceled twice. So when we checked in, we were exhausted from being at the airport and sad because we didn’t make it on the trip we had planned for months. This place made our trip turn around. The staff were super nice from when we checked in to when we checked out. The rooms were clean, bed was comfy, and pool was very nice with the hot tub. We did not hear any noise at night. They gave us free drink vouchers. We were only 15 mins from the beach! Outlets are super close, it is a great location! We loved First State brewery that was up the street from the hotel! We definitely would recommend!

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like

Everything about this hotel was incredible! The pool is very large and has a bar and restaurant that service comes out to pool for you. There is a small game room that was a lot of fun with littles. The room was exceptional! Staff were all so friendly and helpful! They also allow you to use the pool while you wait for your room, which was a huge bonus having little kids after a long drive! Also, lyou can not hear anything in your room, I don't think I even heard another door close or people walking when I was in our bed.

There honestly wasn't anything I would say.

This hotel was so beautiful everything about it ! The room was so clean I felt like I was home in my own bed the food was good the staff was so helpful and friendly especially Besty I would like to personally thank her from the bottom of my heart she was so caring my son has bad allergies and got sick because of the pollen in the air outside, she went out her way to make sure he was okay she made sure he was well taking care of like she knew him forever …I have never been to a hotel that had such pleasant and caring staff I think it was another staff name Nicole that also chip in thank you as well ….i am definitely going to recommend my family and friends here ! I wish I could give this hotel more than 5 stars .

I have no complaints

I really liked that the front desk staff, who was there at check-in remembered it was my son's birthday. She even wished him a happy birthday. It meant a lot we are so happy we booked this hotel for our wedding in October!

The food was literally terrible! Half the food came freezing cold, my partner's food was burnt. Like burnt to a crisp. My mother's food was only half cooked. The waiter never checked on us, never bothered to ask how anything was and when I asked for a manager he proceeded to ask if I wanted to speak t the chef.

The hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly, always smiling, the pool was nice and clean even at late hours and they close the pool at 10pm so you can check in, relax and still have time to enjoy the pool,, and the kids loved the pool. Rooms were definitely bigger than the standard rooms. The restroom and shower were spacious, which we love, because most hotels have a tiny restroom and shower that you can barely fit, so this was a huge plus. 3 minutes away from wawa and other restaurants was also a plus, only 10-15 minutes away from the boardwalk.

The floor on the shower was very slippery, we had a 2 - and 4 year old kids, so we literally had to hold them because they almost fell down to how slippery the floor was on the shower. The sliding door from the shower also had a gap on the bottom, so a lot of the water from the shower was coming out into the floor, also making the floor outside of the shower very slippery. The blinders on the room were very thin so even at night you could see the lights from the outside and as soon as the sun came up it will bright the whole room, so if you like to sleep on a dark room this will be an issue.

The restaurant was excellent! All day HH on Saturdays is a hit! The appetizers were fantastic! The room was spacious, modern and clean. Bed comfy and location was great. We love to shop so being less then 10 minutes from the outlets was a dream.

The walls are extremely thin. My husband and I went for a quick getaway to rekindle. We'll there was no 'rekindling ' due to the family that was next door with an infant and two small children who were simply being kids. Understandable. But the walls were so thin you could hear the parents entire conversations and they were using normal speaking voices. So we kept our TV on and tried to be very quiet. Outside of that everything was fabulous! Can't wait to go back

Great amenities, kind staff, and perfect location; awesome chef!!!

Even with the privacy tab outside the room door, housekeeping “accidentally” opened it on the day of check-out. Whether this was intentional to ensure people check-out, or an “accident” (which is what it was played off as), it was an invasion of asked-for privacy. If you want to knock, knock. You can even call the room phones individually. But there is absolutely No need to barg in! I’m glad the door tab was there otherwise they would have been inside the room! Unbelievable…

The hotel is clean and the indoor and outdoor pools were very good. The restaurant offers good breakfast. we haven't tried lunch or dinner there but I didn't like the choices they are offering

Location - is a 10-15 min drive to beach (which might increase to 20 min due to traffic) I asked for a spoon at night (around 9pm) to be delivered to my room and although I explained that my daughter is sleeping and I can't leave her, they told me I have to pick it up, which I understand, but I would expect some service in certain cases. Also, the room service didn't do much cleaning, they did not even take the trash out.

Place was very clean, staff was nice, outdoor pool great and service was amazing.

Smoking area was not defined in any way which leaves smokers to just be at the front door??? And left to go through the front lobby dripping wet??? I am a smoker and agree with being smoke free but not giving a clear place is not okay. The water pressure is a lot to be desired could not get shampoo and conditioner out of my and daughter's hair which makes people have to take longer to shower and use more water. And it got worse as others would use water in their rooms. Staff seemed to be all new and not sure of answers and had a hard time getting them to you if you asked. I asked about the appropriate area but could not get an answer. They were all nice and tried to get an answer. The indoor pool water was very 🥶 🧊 cold. Had to use outdoor pool but no shade anywhere.

We liked the plant/ green theme. Everything is updated, clean and modern. Great location, both pools were wonderful, along with the jacuzzi. Liked the opening concept between the two. Overall great stay and will stay again in the future.

We had a bad experience in the restaurant. My wife ordered a steak, asked for medium well. It came out rare. Ordered another, that came back alittle better but still not medium well. Not sure if I'd eat at the restaurant again.
