Every time I come to stay at Hollywood Beach I always look for The Golden Sands, Tony goes above and above to make everything as smooth as possible. I mean everything from check in and check out times, codes for the gate, Wi-Fi Passwords, Towels in the room without having to request anything. But my Favorite part of thee Golden Sands is the deck over looking the boardwalk. I usually pick a night and sleep outside to enjoy the sunrise, will always look to book at the Golden Sands.

Parking is always the mission in Hollywood, but Tony made it clear on where we should park and prices.

Location, location, location!!!! It doesn’t get better than this. The rooms are not updated so just be aware of that if you rather a more aesthetically pleasing room.

Parking. That was a major negative for us. We went during high season and it took us 1 hr to find parking. No exaggeration. I feel it’s extremely deceiving that this was not indicated in red letters in the listing. The property mgr was very nice but nonetheless, it was ridiculous not to offer a parking space

The location is excellent. It has a deck overlooking the beach which is a perfect place for coffee in the morning. The hotel has only 8 rooms, and was quiet, well-maintained, and comfortable. Our room was small and basic, but absolutely everything we expected and needed for our short stay. There were beach chairs and an umbrella we used each day on the beach. We brought food up to the deck for dinner one night and had a lovely meal as the sun set behind us. It was wonderful. The location was perfect for just strolling the broadwalk, and we could easily catch transportation into the town center. We walked it one day. Far, but walkable. Wonderful place. Highly recommend.

The freezer in the apt. sized fridge was kind of covered in frost, so it was a bit hard to use (to store ice), and the TV was smallish, but those are MINOR things. The staff were wonderful, the place well-maintained.

Location is perfect! The terrace is a great addition to relax with a great view of the ocean and beach!

Could use some work and updating. Cute rooms just need a little work. We also ended up renting beach chairs because the ones provided were more like soccer chairs and not comfortable for the beach. This was a little disappointing because one of the reasons I chose this place was because they had beach chairs available.

The location is fabulous! You’re on the Boardwalk next to the ocean, plenty of restaurants and bars, coffee shops, markets for staples, and things to do. The people there are super friendly and helpful with good communication about the property. They provided chairs for the beach and sand toys for the kids. They had no problem storing our luggage after checkout until we left. More towels were readily provided quickly. This place was perfect for us-3 adults and 2 six year-olds. We would stay here again. There’s also a small playground adjacent that the kids enjoyed.

This place is not posh in any way, BUT sleep, showering, refrigerator and microwave are all here.

The owners are super responsive and very accommodating. The location is right on the beach in the middle of all of the bars and restaurants. There is an amazing boardwalk that is very active with walkers, runners, bikers, etc. There's a nice patio/deck that overlooks everything including the ocean. It's amazing to sit in the evening and listen to the waves.

The place does need some updating but everything is very clean.

Beautiful view of the beach right on the broadwalk. Cute, quaint motel.

We loved the Broadwalk during the day and early evening but go to bed early. This is not the location for that. The curtains are thin so the room stays bright and this boardwalk is definitely a party scene with loud music all night. Not our scene but still loved this quaint, cute place!

The location of this property is super good, you have everything you need within walking distance and the ocean is right in front of it!! Very clean and accommodating! I didn’t get to personally meet Tony but he was super helpful and nice over the phone and quick to reply every time!!

To be honest just i didn't like the idea to pay extra for parking lot? They should at least mention that part when you're booking the room to not get surprised?

Everything done on phone or text, made it so simple no waiting in lines, punch a couple of codes to get in for your security, when you walk down steps your 5’ from boardwalk although steps are short for size 16 shoe, the best thing is the big balcony at least 30 x 30‘ with chairs cushioned overlooking the boardwalk. Great for watching people. Fantastic restaurants, steps away.
