We celebrated our 10-year anniversary and since we had our wedding at La Siesta it was a very special visit! The staff were all friendly and the bottle of prosecco to welcome us was an even more special touch!

As we had stayed in the purple cottage 10 years prior (for our wedding and honeymoon) it was quite surprising to experience the same difficulties with opening the closet door. The shower head should be replaced, and a longer shower curtain put in place to avoid flooding the bathroom floor when taking a shower. Minor issues. The pool could be better maintained as it is showing its age.

Loved the amenities included, location, staff and layout of the property for our family to stay in Islamorada. This resort is peaceful and playful for families especially with kids and fur babies.

We didn’t like that check in is at 4:00 and the amenities for renting out the bikes, kayaks, paddle boards closed at 4:30. It would be nice they stayed open at least till 5:30 or 6:00pm. I understand we can utilize the rentals and amenities prior to check in but if we can’t get there by 4:00 and we are charged for the amenities, it’s not nice nor is it conducive.

The room was very spacious, we had a standard 2 queen bed with a garden view and felt like we had our own little oasis. We were on the first floor so could just walk out on our patio and enjoy the view (which still had a fantastic view of the ocean)

The only thing I didn't love was that there is no on site restaurant/food, and the tiki bar at the pool only offers beer/wine. Luckily, their sister hotel (Amara Cay) does offer that and you can visit their hotel for free as a La Siesta guest. It's only 0.4 miles away.

Beautiful location on the waterfront with a great size apartment sized room for my family of 5. My children loved all the iguanas walking around

When we arrived about 8pm after a long flight from Miami and a drive there was nowhere to get a wine or cocktail but could walk or drive to sister hotels if needed but would be nice to be able to have one on site.

The location was great, the room was huge, the beach and pool area were lovely. We liked the free pool towels and the pool bar. They had a shuttle service to take you around the resort for free, which was brilliant. Lovely grounds and foliage.

The room had a large kitchenette area but there was no crockery or cutlery supplied, so what was the point? The price of the ice creams at the pool bar, what a rip off! Thought we were getting one of the little colourful rooms on the beach, but we were in the modern block, with limited views, website misleading.

Great location. Pool area was phenomenal. There were also some great resort amenities with the water taxi to accompanying resorts where you could use there services as well. We will be back.

Only small things. Wish there were fishing rods for us to use at the docks, similar to their sister resort properties.

Our room was great. It was nice to have separate areas where the children slept away from us. We did feel like we were tiptoeing around each other. It was really a lot bigger than I expected.

The room is a little dated. Can tell they tried to update it but didn’t spend a lot on it, mostly paint. Also, the WiFi was slow and weak.

The layout of the property was perfect. Easy access to the pool and all the amenities. The rooms had ample space and felt like a home away from home. Staff were very responsive to questions and extremely friendly.

Nothing! It was beautiful and very well kept.

Have made it my goal to never stay at hotel with Resort fees!! Complete ripoff, no in room guide to property amenities raining cats and dogs to find ice machine had to walk to front desk was totally soaked not their fault but very inconvenient since they would not answer their front desk phone!! Tired of the BS Resort fees I might as well throw 50 bucks into the ocean but otherwise great place to stay staff was awesome!!

Great location on the water.

The ping pong tables and lawn games were positioned right outside the ocean side building. 6:00am kids playing games out playing games. Very hard to sleep. The resort needs to separate this game area from the units
