Loved the peacefulness & beautiful setting! A few days we were only ones out by pool & beach - lovely! Staff were very nice & helpful, especially Sam. Liked the bar & room was large with nice walk in shower. Walkable to many restaurants. Only used our car once in 10 days. Would love to come back next year.

Room could have had better end tables with drawer or shelf next to bed. More variety at breakfast, although croissants were delicious. Couldn’t always find someone at reception, looked like they could have used another employee at times. Pool was very cold so didn’t use it as much as we would have liked. Although, none of this won’t prevent us from coming back next year.

Breakfast was ok. Nothing over the top. It’s tough to have an elegant buffet with scrambled eggs. Can’t really keep it piping hot. The coffee and croissants were excellent. Yogurt was cold, which is tough in 95 degree temperature. I would have enjoyed more continental type bfast. Too hot for eggs and bacon. Orange Juice was very cold and tasty. The outdoor area was serene but did not have enough cooling. One floor fan wasn’t adequate. The hostess was lovely. Made a cappachino if you wanted one. The accomodation was fine. We had problems with the TV, told the staff and they brought in a different tv which worked fine. Bed was comfortable and the temp of the suite was perfect. Well air conditioned. Their was a hot tub on the private deck but with 95 degree temperature, I wasn’t going to take one. The outdoor bar/pool deck was serene and perfect for our needs. I’m not a big drinker, but to grab a refreshing cocktail or beer under cover on the gulf side and look out into the gulf was very relaxing and I enjoyed watching the fabulous sunset. We purposely chose a place on the gulf side of the keys for its serenity. Having an outdoor pool was one of the main reasons we chose this venue. Wanted a quiet laid back place. The location was perfect for our needs. The Shrimp Shack was a short walk and the food /service was outstanding!

The staff was very accommodating and pleasant when you finally got a hold of them. The phone number given to us by the check-in person was a problem. You call the number, leave a message and had no response during normal workday hours. Nobody was at the front desk. The call back was 30 minutes later. I did appreciate that I was able to use the garden hose to get the road dirt off of my car.

Beautiful grounds, lovely big room, friendly staff. The weather was unseasonably bad so we didn’t get to enjoy the gorgeous outside setting unfortunately :( We we definitely recommend for a beautiful sunny stay

Only tiny points - there is no inside doormat so the sand from the outside paths goes everywhere and the floor feels really gritty underfoot so best to take off shoes from the start! The room was not serviced for the 3 days we were there - not sure if it was supposed to be or not. Wifi was very patchy so we never managed to get the TV working to entertain ourselves on the cold wet days …

Location is terrific. Very well maintained. They were doing some touch up painting but not in the way. Just basic maintenance to keep it looking nice. Sam and Bridgette were lovely as was the woman who took care of breakfasts. Very outgoing group.

Ran out of Keurig coffee after day 2. Asked the front office for a “room refresh” but no one showed up. Covid is OVER and no hotels went back to daily room cleaning. I’m annoyed by that.

Room was very nice. Paddleboards, kayaks, and bikes were convenient. The pool/beach area was terrific.

Dining equipment and Wi-Fi need improvement. Breakfast area should be cleaner and ant-free. Hot breakfasts would be nice even if guests are charged. Free untapped water in the rooms would be helpful.

Location was great. Central to everything. Beautiful views and sunsets. Bartender gave us good info for where to go and where to eat. She was helpful. I don’t drink so I can’t rate the drinks. My soda was cold :)

Pool wasn’t heated so no guests were using it. Our rear door was falling apart a bit.

The island and pool were excellent and I was happy to be able to get a beer at any time at the pool. The motel is in a great location it feels like it is remote. The grounds are beautiful.
