I didn't like that the rate for the room stated it included all applicable fees and taxes . Then booking.com charged me an additional $29 a night ....aprox $58 more for applicable fees and room tax which I was told were already included in my original rate.

Loved the location. Close to a lot of restaurants & grocery store. The resort itself was surrounded by trees which kept it cooler in the heat. The staff were very helpful & friendly. My husband & I stayed in a king suite. Our room was clean, beautifully decorated & had everything we needed.

The resort fee was my only issue. We came to Islamorada to scuba dive & were gone all day. We did not use any of the resort recreational equipment, nor did we have housekeeping come in and clean our room & refresh our coffee pods or towels during our stay. The pool was very small & often filled with children.

Amazing location with access to a little private jetty and beach with plenty of sun loungers and chairs / tables. Kayaks, paddle boards, flippers and snorkels and bikes were free to borrow and were all in good condition. The apartment itself was beautiful- clean and well equipped with everything we needed. A real gem of a place. There is also a small pool with a shower next to it to rinse off the chlorine.

Nothing 😃 just be aware that if you have one of the apartments nearer the main interstate road, it is a very busy road so if traffic bothers you, ask for one a bit further away. It didn’t bother us though!

What an amazing weekend we had here. We decided to stay in this hotel due to the exceptional location. La Jolla is close to everything in Islamorada. It's right across the ISLAMORADA distillery... a huge plus because it's one of our favorite beers! The minute you enter the premises, you feel that relaxing island vibe. There is so much to do in this resort but in the most calm and relaxing way. We used the kayaks, snorkeled, and enjoyed fishing from the dock. Sun bathing with the most awesome views. We saw dolphins, a nurse shark, different kinds of fish, squirrels, iguanas, and a little resident cat my son fell in love with... We named him "Boots." The rooms are small but they are very clean and have all the necessary items you need for your stay. I just wish the beds were more comfortable and the rooms a little bigger. The only thing missing at this wonderful place is a little beach for the kids or man-made beach with real sand. My son fell on the rocky entrance to the water due to sharp rocks. La Jolla It's a little pricey compared to others, but the location and vibes here make up for it. I would definitely stay here again.

We liked the fact that it was quiet and comfortable. I must say that there’s a ferrol cat by the name of Maverick that I’m sure takes care of the rodents. She is very friendly and loves shrimp!

There was nothing we didn’t like!

We originally rented a 2/2 bungalow and the manager upgraded us to a "Lodge" which we LOVED! It was FABULOUS. We loved the full kitchen, large porch to see the glorious sunsets and the weber grill to cookout on. We took advantage of the FREE Kayaks, Paddle Boards and LOVED snorkeling from the dock. Loved seeing the manetee's everyday too. The staff was so helpful and we enjoyed it being so nice, quiant, and "old school" style place with lots of charater. Hands down we would stay here again!

We absolutely loved the opportunity to visit during a weekday and enjoy the property without many other visitors around. We live in West Palm Beach and loved how easy it was to pop down and stay a night - we already visited twice and will be back :)

I have no complaints - We loved the relaxing location, friendly staff, beautiful rooms, and sweet little property cat. We enjoyed catch and release fishing, paddleboarding, and lounging waterside. The weekend rates are a little high for us being semi-local, but I think they suite the property, and we're happy to come down on Thursdays.

PROS: very friendly front desk staff. We had flight issues and needed to stay one more night and one woman went out of her way to contact several nearby hotels to see if they had availability. <3 Cool rooms - with couch, kitchenette w/fridge, stove, micro, sink, coffee maker, kitchen utensils, etc. Within walking distance of restaurants/bars which we love! Also, a very friendly kitty on site visited us!

CONS: Pool had too many overgrown trees so it wasn’t sunny enough to lay out and tan, but there’s a gravel “beach” on the property to relax at. The only way to dip in the water to cool off is climbing down a ladder and I didn’t get off the ladder cause there’s weeds and stuff on the bottom.

This hidden gem was such a wonderful surprise! So clean, spacious with ample, close, secure parking-it was easy to navigate stresslessly. Ambiance from vegetation provided a beautiful scenery and relative seclusion. The view, private beach, wading/swimming water levels and available recreational supplies made this visit easier & enjoyable. The staff were all so nice, helpful and accommodating. It’s conveniently close to recommended eating & drinking establishments-even walkable. Almost don’t want to share this oasis, but I want to give credit to this awesome, welcoming resort.

Just a caution, some might find the bed a bit firm. Someone really knows how to make up a tight sheet bed.

Perfect relaxation mode is the norm here. Idyllic location. Moments from a great brewery with a food truck yet you are living on the beach! There are bikes and kayaks for free to use but that's about it. No bar or restaurant but that is why it's so quiet and peaceful. Supermarket 5 min away so we bought our juice, fruit etc and ate breakfast on the beach with just the pelicans for company.
