Exceptional staff! Staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and welcoming! Shout out to Yadira, Reza, Kim, Vera and the general manager!! Extremely comfortable beds, very clean room. Free parking, free washer and dryer, fitness room, handicapped accessible and there is an elevator, walking distance to restaurants, shops and other places are a short drive away! The room has a stove, microwave and dishwasher, and a full sized refrigerator too. Very good shower. Pool too. Other items can be borrowed at the front desk such as a toaster oven and much much more. There's also food and sundries for purchase: toothbrush, paste, Tylenol, and so on. If you don't see it ask the staff! There also a BBQ grill outside. Of course this is Florida and there's air conditioning. Many of the guests work nearby and are frequent guests. Very warm people! Will definitely stay here when I return!!

Heat and humidity in Florida especially in the summer! Wear light colors and loose clothes! Bring sunscreen and liberally apply it, wear sunglasses, a hat and stay hydrated!! Landscaping needs attention. Additional outdoor chairs needed. Computer area needs cubbies and something for privacy. Shredder needed for business guests. Bathroom fan can be inadequate. Dehumidifier needed.

It was 5 minute drive from our son's home so it was perfect for us! We could see our grandkids in just a few minutes. The first time we stayed there, we were on the ground floor and people above us were very noisy and inconsiderate, letting there kids run until we complained about it at 11pm, The hotel was full but the staff moved us as soon as they could.. It was great because it had a refrigerator and other appliances and dish sets. The beds were super comfortable!

I would not call this a vacation hotel, as it's a long way to the ocean. There is a military base so convenient for family visits and a Mayo Clinic nearby.The pool was outdoors and very small. It was located in a spot that didn't get much sun. The water in the pool was really cold! It would have been a perfect place for a hot tub, as the pool is not used due to where it is located.

Location was close to the beach and the room did not smell like anyone had ever smoked in it. The facilities were clean and the kitchen had everything I would need for in room food prep if I didn't want to go out to eat.

The hallway outside my room smelled as if the building had at some point been a smoking permitted floor but had gone through extensive air cleaning and air fresheners to get rid of the smell. It wasn't terrible to the point of being a problem but every time I left my room or got off the elevator it was noticeable.

I loved the Location it was perfect for Neptune Beach and about 15 mins to the Jax beach side The staff was very friendly and did not mind helping you if need be. We did have to get towels daily but they always had some in stock

I honestly didn't have any dislikes with this hotel they were well beyond my expectations

We have stayed at Candlewood on 4 different occasions and plan to continue to stay there when visiting Jacksonville. The facility is very clean and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. We love the suite set and the shower pressure is the best. We realize the facility is limited but we miss not having a breakfast option

It was extremely clean for what is, plenty of towels and the kitchenette had dishes included, very comfortable feel, hallways smelled nice, staff was friendly

The hair on top of the ceiling in the bathroom, and the location to the outlets and stores is a far distance but we chose this location so.

Clean & spacious

The floor was wet. Front desk states that it had probably been shampooed and hadn’t dried properly. They gave us towels to place on the floor. All okay. The bathroom door did not close and the bathroom fan would come on. The AC didn’t work as expected given the temperature we set. Had to adjust 4° lower.

It would be nice if more than one 1-ply roll of toilet paper was provided for extended stay guests.

The front desk was very helpful. We had a late arrival and the lady who checked us in wasnt able to give us a later checkout. But Aymie was so nice and sweet. And so helpful. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be booking.

The property was clean and the staff helpful. I loved having the kitchenette, free laundry and cupboard, all were unexpected. It was a great work space though the walls were thin and I could hear other residents. Unfortunately, the alarm in a neighboring room woke me up at 3am.
