We stay here often as our daughter is a student at FSC. We normally have an above average experience. This one was a bit more difficult. The room size is good. it is clean and has a decent enough breakfast. I sleep well when I'm here. The distance to FSC is fine. You will pay a lot more to save a few miles being closer to campus. we will be staying here again in August.

It took multiple phone calls to adjust our dates. I was willing to pay for any price difference. It was eventually approved, but the increase given to us verbally was NOT what we were charged in the end. There is/was an $80 discrepancy. Still no resolution at the time of this post. The hotel was not full. It should not be that hard to get an answer.

The hotel is very clean, the rooms are fantastic, and the staff is very hospitable and friendly! From front dest clerk, Angie to the wonderful servers like Francisco and John Henry who made sure we had plenty of delicious breakfast options, we were made to feel at home! Our room had TV, coffee, delicious smelling soap, shampoo and conditioners, ironing board, free Internet, fresh towels daily, room cleaned daily, and free breakfast! What else can you ask for! My favorite surprise? A washer and dryer on my floor! It was so awesome to be able to wash and dry my clothes and pack clean clothes for my trip back to CT! Did I mention how quiet it was there? Even the guests were respectful and kind! We haven't had a relaxing time like this, at a hotel, in decades! The hotel is super close, only minutes away from anything you'd want to see, eat, or do. When you do visit this area, be sure to have lunch at the Garden Bistro, on Orange St. It's like you died and went to paradise! Lol. It was amazing, but I digress. We loved everything about the hotel. Perhaps if it had a pool, it would be perfect, but even without the pool, it was wonderful! Oh! It does have a nice gym! And PLENTY of free parking! We would highly recommend staying at the Best Western Plus Hotel in Lakeland. If we ever travel to these parts again, we certainly will!

Breakfast was best I've had in this class of hotel. Fresh, hot, eggs tasted like eggs (not powdered or liquid eggs other places use), sausage gravy was right consistency and delicious, biscuits were tasty. Even pancakes. Friendly pleasant staff in all areas. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable.

Handicap access from the back parking lot was missing. Access available in front with plenty of parking spots, but was busy and all taken. We had to park in back and search for a way to get motorized scooter up onto curb. Neighborhood is industrial buildings and mobile home parks. However we felt safe, and hotel is ideally located off I-4.

The room was clean and comfortable. The soap in the bathroom smelled really nice. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was the best part of the stay. Small single serve coffee maker in room that I didn't use. Mini fridge in room kept my drinks cold. Breakfast was a hot buffet style meal with eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, assorted juices in a dispenser machine. Coffee. There was a machine that made pancakes in minutes. Toast, English muffins, yogurt, cereal. Lots of choices. Overall, a good experience. Staff was friendly.

Eggs, sausages, and potatoes were highly seasoned and very spicy. Beware. Room rate was high that weekend since there were several events happening in town that day. Paid more than I planned for a room.

Very clean, exceptional staff. Very friendly. Quick to get us extra pillows, and blankets. Breakfast was wonderful. Especially the scrambled eggs which were light and fluffy. The coffee was quite good as well.

Only issue was the toilet seat would not stay up without holding it. Told them in the morning. It was discovered in the middle of the night. They thanked me and told the maintenance guy to go up and tend to it right away.

What I loved the most was the cleaness in the room and how organized everything was. I had bad experience in fancy hotels with bedbugs, so my main concern was walking into the same experience, but NO, it was a great and pleasant experience. All I can say is keep up the great work guys the employees and the cleaning ladies are 100%. Love you all, and God bless you.

Wish there were more towels and for breakfast to be till a later time, like 10 a.m.

It was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good.

We were in a room towards the front, facing the road and it was very noisy all hours of the night. Trains, loud cars, loud music. The beds were comfortable but a little bit firm. And there is no pool.

It is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Everyone is very pleasant and accommodating. The rooms are big, very clean, and the breakfast is very good. The maid service is exceptional. We would recommend the hotel to everyone. We have stayed here many times, when coming to Lakeland, and it is always just as good as previously. It is also in a very good location.

The only thing we didn't like was the bed pillows. They are very soft, and flat.

The breakfast was fabulous! The breakfast manager was very hospitable and took care of any needs. He was also careful of watching health safety.

The location, although convenient for the reason I was in the area, is in a run down part of town. Heavey industry and few restaurants nearby.

The food was excellent. John Henry worked the breakfast room and we have never experienced a more friendly and helpful person. He went above and beyond. A true asset to the hotel. The front desk staff was just a joy. You were greeted every time you came in. So helpful. I can't say enough good things about them. Other hotels could truly learn from them

The location was a little off the beaten path but the staff really outweighed the not so great location.
