Amazing Staff, service, location and pools! Would 100% come again

I would recommend just checking what private events are.happening ahead of time and if that possibly closes the aqua lounge earlier during the day in case you are planning to spend a lot of.time there.

Did not use the pool. The room was great with ocean view

The location the beach but did not like the valet attendant made me pay the with zelle and charge my room valet the following day again while I did not use the hotel parking. Parking was pricey so I used a local parking garage with got charged with valet at the same time.

The location, the pool, the beach service, the staff.

Very outdated rooms, needs the renovation, no soundproofing either - you can hear the conversations and sneezing of your neighbors.

The location was amazing, the building itself is a classic art deco so don’t expect super modern if that’s your thing. The restaurant has great food and all the staff were awesome and made us feel very welcome e, especially the bar staff at the pool bar (Jeremy, Johanna and Julia). Even though part of our stay was over Memorial Day weekend it never felt too busy.

The only improvement would be to give notice on the massive renovation going on in the hotel next door. A couple of days of the stay were impacted by very noisy building works. This is the new Delano building due to be complete later this year (2025).

National Hotel is located slightly away from the party noise, offering guests a charming return to the past with its elegant design and nostalgic atmosphere. Although the room was not very large, it was beautifully decorated, cozy, and full of character. The interior design was exceptional. Throughout the day, guests are greeted by friendly staff, complimentary morning coffee, and refreshing drinks. It was a lovely touch to receive a welcome drink in the room after a long journey. The hotel provides everything you need: valet parking, breakfast, and attentive service both poolside and beachfront. From what I understood, all service-related amenities are included in the resort fee, which gives peace of mind—you don’t have to worry about the cost of umbrellas or other small charges, and the total payment is clear from the start. The staff by the pool and on the beach were responsive and delivered our orders promptly. Overall, our stay was wonderful and relaxing. A big thank-you to the team for their excellent work!

Cons: Only one elevator was operational during our stay, which led to queues and some discomfort for guests. The water pressure in the shower was quite low, which slightly detracted from the overall experience. It might also be time to consider updating the bathroom furniture.

Overall we really loved this hotel! When you step inside you feel like you are being transported to a different world and a different time. The hotel is very classy, when you first walk in everything smells good and the decor is absolutely stunning. There is spa water available everywhere for guests and the front desk concierge is available for communication via text throughout your stay, which is super convenient. Our room was beautiful and extremely comfortable, we loved the design and the pool/ocean view. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of amenities. We loved the pool and beach access -- you get lounge chairs, towels, and an umbrella at both the pool and the beach included in your stay for no additional charge. You can also order food and drinks both at the pool and at the beach! We particularly loved the coconut drink with rum and coconut cream. All the hotel staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. They also have a really nice hotel bar with a daily happy hour from 4-7pm. We enjoyed the espresso martinis and lobster empanadas. Also, shout out to our awesome bartender Margarita! She was so nice and a pleasure to chat with. This hotel has so many amenities we didn't even have time to try everything -- there is a pool table in the lobby, bikes available to rent, yoga classes, a fitness center, games by the pool and by the beach, daily breakfast, and more. There is also a restaurant we didn't have the chance to try because it is only open on the weekends and we were there during the week. We are looking forward to returning soon to experience all this hotel has to offer!

It was a little bit noisy sometimes because the room doors slam shut behind you and there is really no way to keep the door from slamming when you leave your room so we could hear everyone going in and out of their rooms. It was also difficult to be mindful of other people when entering/exiting because there was no way to close the door quietly. The pools were nice but the water was way too hot (it was hot outside so I get it, but the pool temperature was as warm as a jacuzzi). It would be nice if there were a way to cool down the pool water temperature.

The pools were amazing and just like the pictures. Maybe a little more landscaping/flowers would make it pop even more, but really nice. The service art the pools was great as well, towels, setting up for you, people asking if you wanted a drink or food...you were never waiting long at all. The room was a little small, but nice for one person. Clean, excellent pressure in the shower and I had a centerline direct ocean view. You aren't doing much better. The front desk and hotel staff were on point. Any concerns, addressed. Bags? Taken and quickly retrieved. The decor is elegant, and everything felt as it should, Very welcoming. The location couldn't be better. Walk to Lincoln Road and the pedestrian mall. Walk to Ocean Drive. Easy to get to anything. The music was excellent, but they don't have their own DJ. It's from the Sagamore and the SLS pools next door on either side, so my compliments to them. Free music, woohoo!

There was some construction going on near the pool in back which made for some annoying noise from time to time. I mean, they have to fix things, but small detraction. It may just be me, but the beds weren't amazing. Good enough, but my back told me to go home to my premium mattress. I did sleep well though. There is an elevator out for over a month, so while you weren't waiting forever, you had to compete with people going in the opposite direction. To the staff's credit, they waited until hotel guests were cleared before proceeding to impact guests less, so good show there.

We had a horrible journey as our flights were cancelled and it was our 20th wedding anniversary but when we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with smiles. We were also upgraded to a cabana room and had prosecco and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us in the room due to being our anniversary. We had an amazing stay the room was amazing and comfortable. The pool was fab I was able to swim a mile each day of our stay as it was 67.5m long. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was also in an amazing area with lovely shops, restaurants and of course the golden sands of the beach! Would definitely be back!!!

Location and front desk clerk

We felt the Security Manager was targeting us when we went to Walgreens to get snacks for the cruise we were leaving later in the day for. My husband and I had them in the bag and unopened, and said we could not have them in the pool area even after I said multiple times we would be leaving soon to head to the cruise terminal and were taking them on the cruise. He wanted to take the bag and store them with our luggage, and we didn’t feel comfortable have a bag that doesn’t seal just placed with our luggage. So we left and enjoyed the pool at another hotel who by the way haves the same rules as your hotel, but didn’t mind that I had unopened snacks in. Walgreens bag.

The amenities were amazing at the location was great. The hotel had an awesome vibe

We had an ocean view room, that overlooked construction and rooftops of other buildings. It certainly wasn’t a very pretty view. The windows didn’t open to the outside and they were dirty.
