Staff and location are really great!

Need to pay extra for cappuccino and espresso in the morning even if you pay almost 30$ a day for a breakfast. Need to pay 25$ extra for a beach umbrella. Luckily the staff is awesome and helps a lot with this but, for what you pay the room, these extras and many others should be included.

Location awesome, by the beach, it’s a 4 minute walk to the water. I was a beautiful hotel besides the beach, like from the 50’s I guess, some art deco details, lovable, big spaces, tall ceilings, awesome floors. You can even see some old furniture, still elegant today. Poor maintenance; some architectural components have been transformed to “modernity” resulting in ugly objects. Pity, if restored with dignity and respect of the original architectural design it could be a gem. I respect modernizing of course but it doesn’t imply destroying elegance

Maintenance, restaurant, food

Location was 2-3 minutes walking distance to Ocean Drive and the beach, perfect. Lots of restaurants along Ocean Drive but also found some really nice restaurants on the side streets away from there too. Hotel was very well air conditioned which was needed after a day in the extreme humidity of South Beach. Breakfast staff were very helpful and the breakfast itself was very nice albeit quite limited on choice. There were 2 small pools, one had a bar next to it and a little shop that sold cold drinks, snacks and ice creams

I booked via this website and it should’ve included breakfast for me and my two sons for the entire week but on arrival the hotel only had 2 breakfasts for us on their system and as such would only honour the 2. I was told to contact booking.com to sort it out. Couldn’t get anyone to actually contact via the app so just left it. They gave me 14 card vouchers (2 per day x 7 days) to redeem at breakfast but we could use them how we wished so we all had breakfast for 4 days and went out for the remaining 3 days(had 2 vouchers left over). They would let me buy a breakfast but at a cost of $33 per day but I considered that quite pricey. Tbf that’s the only negative there was.

Room was lovely, they arranged for a little surprise in the room for my partners birthday. Room was a good size. Great location, our room overlooked Collins Avenue. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Price for the room was very good, paid around £1800 for 11 nights and then paid for an extra night so in all cost about £2000 for 12 nights which is very good.

I didn't like their whole taking money out of my account randomly, I took out a can of coke from the mini bar and they took $95 for this, I didn't understand the reasoning for it when they could have charged me for extras at the end of my stay. The towels need to be bigger when going to the beach, or at least give you 2 towels. It's a bit annoying that on the beach you have to pay extra for a sun brolly. The cocktails at the bar weren't very nice. Trying to book for next year but for the same time, same room the price has gone up by an extra £1000 which is far too much and unfortunately will have to look else where considering I'm at this hotel every year.

The location cannot be beat. The staff was attentive to our concerns and requests. The Friday Happy Hour party was fun and entertaining. Very enthusiastic people working there.

The lounge chairs at the main pool were very dirty. Both the cushions and frames had dirt and mildew on them. The foot shower area was way too sandy and needed to be cleaned more often. The beach towels were very worn out. A daily newspaper is not provided and should be removed from the amenities offered on the booking website.

The hotel is great. We had an ocean-view room on the 11th floor, which was really good and clean. The pool was also clean, with easy access to the beach, a designated smoking area, and a bar. Almost all the staff were super friendly. You can borrow a bicycle for two hours every day to explore the city. Also they have a gym.

I think it would be great if the parking were a bit cheaper or even included in the room rate. Also, it would be ideal if the pool could stay open a bit longer. It’s fine as it is, but extending the hours would make it perfect.

Loved everything

Housekeeper avoided cleaning room; hung do not disturb sign on door. We did not hang the sign, upon return we located the one outside the door and another on the inside. Attempted to call service multiple times without any answer after allowing the phone to ring for an extended period of time.

Excellent pools with easy beach access. Food and drink was very good and reasonably priced. Excellent staff, all-around.

Rooms were fine but a bit outdated in my section.!I expected a more modern room with direct oceanfront view like the last time I stayed here but very limited view and outdated room.The billing system at hotel must change. Very confusing to read. Not at all clear what you are getting for each charge.?Didn’t have time to check completely.

I loved how clean the property was and how friendly everyone was. The bar, brach, and pool were our favorite parts.

The sales rep was extremely pushy and when I told him my fiance and I had to go so he could take his insulin he kept talking and telling us to wait it out, but with diabetes he has to take his insulin at specific times. We told the gentleman to leave the papers at the front desk so we could fill them out after he got his shot and we went to dinner but he practically chased us through the lobby and made it very uncomfortable. Other than that one experience, everything was great.

Location was great, the facilities also, like pool, bar, etc. Staff was really friendly.

We had a problem with the drain, the shower had no division with the rest of the restroom, then, when you take a shower, if your are not very careful the water goes outside and there were no drain on the other side, the water goes directly to the room, I had to clean manually to avoid accidents.
