This small hotel is in a great location, is super clean, and has friendly staff. It's not a fancy hotel, but has charm and intimacy that chains lack. The outdoor patio and seating area make this hotel a secret get-a-away. The facility is maintained extremely well and it's always sparkling clean. Very comfortable.

After staying there on many occasions it seems that in no matter which room, there is always a lot of noise at all hours. Traffic, street sweepers, drunk pedestrians, people talking loudly outside, carpets being swept at 1:30 am right outside the guest rooms, clunking and banging coming from storage rooms being accessed at 3:00 and 4:30 am. Disturbed rest.

All the staff here were so friendly and helpful. The location for the price cannot be beat, you are right next to Lake Eola and there’s tons of dining options (including late night options) within walking distance. Their parking lot was a lot larger than I expected. The breakfast included grab & go items like hard boiled eggs, yogurt, packaged breakfast pastries, bagels, juices, and fruit. There was a mini fridge in our room and a microwave downstairs. Older accommodations but everything else makes up for that. I will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Orlando.

I love the location right in front of the lake! The balcony patio was a decent size and very accommodating for myself and my little ones

the only thing I could complain about was I think I ended up in one of the only rooms I could see that still had carpet. the AC was leaking when I got in the room and I felt it with my bare feet. The maintenance man came right up and fixed it and I didn't have an issue after that. unfortunately the establishment downstairs is being renovated so it wasn't open for me to enjoy but that's beyond the hotel's control. The room as well as the fridge is a little small but suffice and it would have been awesome to have a microwave in the room.

Excellent customer service. Nice amenities like lemon water and coffee all day. The location next to Lake Eola was perfect for us. There is a nice patio to sit outside and fast Wi-Fi.

The young people coming back drunk at 2am making so much noise in the halls but what can you do? It's in the heart of Orlando. We don't blame the establishment for this and didn't bother calling them. We knew they would eventually pass out :D

The staff was very warm and welcoming. They offered me several drinks upon arrival and got me an early check-in.

I didn't like how the TV cable box was just laying oddly on the TV. I was worried it was going to fall. I also thought the breakfast was subpar. Nothing was fresh, and it was all prepackaged. I understand that at this price point, it is what it is. I would have rather had some fresh bread to toast with some different jam or jelly than the Hostess boxed snack cakes.

The staff are always friendly and fantastic, and its super convenient to most major venues in the area. Lake Eola is right across the street and its a lovely place to relax.

The hotel is a little rough around the edges, lots of paint chips and cracks, the rooms are small and pretty bare bones, and it is a little on the pricier side for what it offers depending on how you book.

This historic building was upgraded to its best. With narrow hallways, which all historic buildings have. This place was nice and cozy. The quietness everybody respected the thin walls. This place is mostly for adults. If you're into peace & quietness, this is your place Central Park is right behind the building, a beautiful park at that, surrounded by restaurants and bars. Also old Brick roads and houses from back in the day.

I didn't like I had to go home but I had plans and reservations around Florida.

I am a French guy who use to travel for work everyweek and I do not understand how this hotel is below 8/10. If there was a swimming pool or a restaurant, it could easily be a 4* hotel for the quality of service from the staff and the amenities quality. The price vs the service and the location is very cheap, I highly recommand. I loved the hospitality of the staff member, the cleanless, the common area and the rooms are great.

When booking I was not aware of rooms with 2 beds or roll away bed option. I got a roll away bed once there. I bought a cot from home with me. I would have preference 2 beds. Also, some rooms have carpet (don't like) others do not ( like). It was very nice in all.

Great location! Close to everything in downtown Orlando. The guy who checked us in was friendly & it was done very quickly. It was just a one night stay so the price was also very reasonable as we only really used the place to sleep. It is an older building so it could use some renovations but the decor is very nice!

The floors seemed moist & the bathrooms are extremely small. The beds are too firm.
