Hotel is being refurbished but you can't hear anything. Because of this the free breakfast is a "take back back to your room" affairs and is a bit samey because of the situation. If you can cope with this the hotel is great value. We got an already refurbished room which was big had a TV fridge and microwave and coffee maker. Staff are exceptional. They were always polite and helpful and seemed genuinely pleased that we came despite the works happening.

Obviously some may be bothered by the appearance of the corridors etc but you know this before you book

The room only had one nightstand light for some reason, so if you want to do anything in the room at night byo light

The hotel was still undergoing a renervation and check in was in one of the rooms but if wasn't an issue Pool was nice Breakfast was good The rooms were really nice and clean

We had a wonderful time at this place. We can see the property is experiencing renovations, but anyway the hosts were extremely friendly, the rooms were clean, shower was great. Nice pool too. Special shout to the wonderfully polite Mr. Lino at breakfast, who managed to always help everyone. Hotel is remarkably close to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and City Walk (as in 5 minutes distance). There's a free shuttle at 8.50 AM to City Walk and at 6pm back to the hotel, but you can easily board an Uber and get there for less than 5 dollars each way. There's also a Denny's 30 yards away from the hotel open 24/7. Perfect for families with kids as you can walk to Denny's in less than 1 minute for a meal.

Breakfast could use a little more variety, especially more fruits. There were only apples.

Location is key. Pool was great being as deep as it is we thoroughly enjoyed. There were towels available too so that’s a plus! Easy quick access outdoors with our dogs. Will requests this specific room again!

The breakfast was okay, filled the belly. It’s not gourmet but it will do. There are still ongoing renovations so standing at the door of the room as long as we did each morning to get our bag of breakfast was not fun but hey, again they made it work. Not complaining. I do wish the lights worked I t he pool so my kid didn’t think there were sharks in it but again, being picky. It was absolutely fine the way it was. We will ALWAYS come back to our La Quinta. If you want a five star hotel, this may not be it but if you want a safe and good experience super close to Universal Studios… stay here! 10/10 recommend so long as you’re not picky and wanting fancy. ✅ Location is phenomenal: close to the airport, a $7 Uber/Lyft ride form Universal, 20-30 minutes from Disney. ✅ Staff was very polite and helpful. And there was always staff available in the lobby and kitchen. ✅ Breakfast is basically the same everyday, standard continental breakfast, but everything was fresh (except for the milk in our last day, which I reported and they immediately took care of), they even had Mickey-shaped waffle makers (3). The included breakfast is a great value and very convenient to have when visiting the parks. ✅ The property was very clean and our room looked like it was recently renovated. It had modern decoration and furniture, including the bathroom. Nothing looked, felt, or smelled old. ✅ Free parking, big pool, no hidden fees. All of these to me makes for an overal excellent value.

We love the over all accommodation we were given during our 5-night stay. The property is under going renovations on one side, we stayed on the other side, but that did not bother us at all. We will wake-up early (before constructions start) have breakfast then off to universal resort for the rest of the day. Back to the hotel and the construction is done. There is a complimentary shuttle to and from. The BREAKFAST, was fabulous. Big breakfast everyday - free. Which helps a lot to start our day especially when we do at least 25000 steps/day at universal resort. Beds are comfortable, they do everyday housekeeping, but it’s your choice if you don’t want to. Friendly staff. Bathroom and flooring is new. Overall magnificent stay.

I will say this they were under construction, and I didn't expect it. Check-in was easy. I found my room, and I was happy with the unit very clean and cold. The view was spectacular of the Orlando Fun Spot. It was my 12 year old son and myself. It is located near everything.The staff was amazing and kind. The breakfast was so fulfilling and delicious. Sausage patties and links eggs and toast. Juice and muffins with fresh fruit are very fulfilling before a long day of spending money, lol. The bed was comfortable, and they had cable channels where movies were always being played. I never made it to the pool, but it was nice, and they also have a disabled chair to lower you into the pool if you aren't capable of walking in. I would definitely suggest this place. It was a last-minute booking when I decided to take my son the night before and it was worth it.

Two night stay prior to a cruise. Room was clean, on 2nd floor with stair access only. Parts of hotel are being renovated, which will be good as some areas a bit worn. Room I stayed in was one previously already renovated and had great bath products. Even though it faced road it wasn’t noisy and with the blackout blinds had a good sleep. Basic breakfast which was handy and there was other restaurants close by for other meals. The shuttle stop that travels International Drive was very convenient for shopping. Staff polite and friendly. Overall was well suited for short stay.

The air con was very loud so didn’t have it on whilst sleeping, not sure how comfortable that would be in summer.

Check in was very smooth! They are doing some remodeling we actually stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and let me tell you it was sooooo very nice and clean!!! Bed was very comfortable and it was perfect for the price. Floors are really nice no carpet👍 Did see the pool area but cant comment because weather didn't permit. Location is perfect! most definitely come again.

Okay so it seems to be only one ice machine which is located in the main building and upstairs and..... down the hall😒😒😒 we were located around the back of the building so we had to walk out and around to go get ice👎 seems to be no elevator either but we were only on the second floor which wasn't bad and not a lot of baggage with us.
