Bed was comfortable, staff was great, room was clean, there was an actual breakfast, with hot food (which is rare in our post COVID life).

The pool area closes at 10, and it was pretty full most of the day into the night. And, the hot tub, not even a chance to get in. I understand it was memorial day weekend, and the motel was sold out, but my husband and I were really looking forward to being able to wind down at the end of the day, for just a few minutes in the hot tub. (One of the main reasons we chose to stay here) Instead, we patiently waited for almost 2 hours, watching the group continue drinking and enjoying it, with no regard to the two other couples, besides us, waiting. Finally, we just gave up. This doesn't reflect on our feelings about the motel itself, or the staff, because they were great. Just wish the group in the hot tub would have been a little more considerate.

I've stayed at this hotel several times. It is budget-friendly, but that doesn't mean Bates motel. They have clean rooms, comfortable beds, and an AMAZING breakfast. They are also in the historical district so they are close to everything. I cannot stress enough when you go to St. Augustine to stay at this hotel.

There isn't anything I had a problem with other than the vending machine. It wouldn't give me my purchase. But, when I reported it, they opened the machine and gave me what I wanted.

Breakfast was good and they had it out longer on day before hurricane which was nice for all the people who were anticipating hurricane. Thank you for your help and hard work. Friendly man who cleans rooms also Thank you Father for keeping us through the hurricane. Room was quiet even though hurricane winds outside and we slept well Power stayed on thru storm.

Thankfully we Didn’t lose power thru the storm, just for a bout a minute or two, but the next morning the power was on and then shut off by Fpl to do Repair in another area. Staff kept saying the power would be back on in couple of hours and then said it would be on by 5. That was a lie We called Fpl and they had no idea when power would be back on. Power never came back on

gentleman at the service desk were excellent helped me so much even with my Uber app on my phone our room was spotless bathroom was shining it was so clean. swimming pool was beautiful hot tub was wonderful didn't even expect that outdoor barbecue area a fenced in playground for children and a dog park area. this was an exceptional hotel just exceptional I would tell anyone to stay there wonderful and the breakfast in the morning was outstanding very very pleased it exceeded our expectations The price was outstanding

I liked everything about the hotel and staff. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean including the floor. The ac worked great.. The bed was very comfortable with enough great pillows for a great night's sleep. The breakfast was good also, with mini waffles. The price was reasonable.

The only thing was the drive to St Augustine and to the beach. But I can live with that. We are planning on returning to this hotel on our next visit to St Augustine.

The bed was very comfortable. The staff was super nice. Breakfast was much better than I expected. We were close enough to everything we wanted to do. Gas stations and restaurants were right there at us. The pool and hot tub both were clean. The playground was very nice also.

My only downside was having to leave....Our first trip to St. Augustine did not disappoint!!

Check-in was great. Lady was very helpful. Room was nice.

My second morning there. Their breakfast was not so good. I was there both mornings at 7:30 am. The second morning, the eggs were gone, and even though the person was there refilling the breads and other things, he never even looked to see if they needed to be refilled. Also the syrup was empty for the waffles

Everything was absolutely amazing and looked exactly like the photos. Rooms were so clean and comfortable. Staff was fantastic. It’s great for family’s. The pool and hot tub were very clean which is a huge plus for me ! The playground for the little kids was amazing. My kids had the best time. This hotel does an amazing job and there is 24 hour staff available for all of your needs. We will definitely be back.

There was nothing not to like.

breakfast was great for me and my family, we woke up early and there was no issues food, fresh. As usual the line for waffle was long, just like any other hotel. The room was small but did not have any issues,clean linnen, no smell. we spent with my family about 3 nights including the new years.

I know this from the get go but if was bit far away from downtown. Otherwise no issues.

Nice complete breakfast: eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereal -- healthy. The lawn, sidewalks, planters with flowers -- very well cared for. Nice breakfast area, lots of tables, large screen TV. Staff were efficient, friendly, and helpful. Desk with printer for guests. (I didn't need it this time, but nice to know it was there, if I did.)

I didn't see any hot water or Decaf coffee -- but maybe it was being refilled?
