I was a little concerned after reading the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the hotel! The rooms were larger than expected. I wonder if it had been apartments in a previous life. The hotel is older (pink tiles in the bathroom) but it is a classic. Made me want to put on a polka dot bathing suit, Marilyn Monroe sunglasses, and relax like it was the beach in the 50's! Also, this hotel is RIGHT on the beach! I will definitely be staying here again.

Fantastic location directly on the beach which was relatively quiet when we stayed until Memorial weekend when it got busier. There were a limited number of sun beds available on property free of charge but can hire 2 wooden beds with mattresses and an umbrella from Kevin for 35 dollars a day. We reported that the bathroom sink was blocked and this was dealt with really quickly. A few restaurants nearby and Sporty's Bar across the road for good value for money and good service; within easy reach of other busier beaches if desired.
Room was very basic and although the kitchen area had several cupboards there wasn't a traditional plate or cup to be found. Every paper coffee cup or water cup was in a plastic bag and paper plates/bowls were available from reception - I appreciate this isn't unique to this property but a frustration with the amount of avoidable waste. Rooms are arranged around the swimming pool which can get noisy but not unbearable

We loved everything about the property. The gulf front view is exceptional. Our balcony was very large, like a deck and was perfect for watching the beautiful gulf, beachgoers as well as watching sunsets! The room had a separate bedroom which we loved with a king bed that was decent. Large living area with a kitchenette and even a dining room table. Bathroom was small but adequate.
The only thing we were disappointed in was how the tub shower worked. It was and old tub and the handles were broken and didn’t adjust easily and once we had it adjusted and was into the shower routine the water went super hot. Then the tub was draining super slow so the water was above your ankles. Then we g couldn’t turn the handles enough to properly turn the water off. I told them about as we checked out after our stay. I hope they fix it cause that’s so much water waste.

Excellent property, excellent stay! First thing to note was the value. The condo, amenities and beach access were all exceptional considering the reasonable price. You get a lot for your dollar. The pool area was always clean, there were ample lounge chairs, lots of beach toys and tubes for kids and adults. Towels were available if you needed them. The open area that was covered and overlooked the gulf was a wonderful spot to relax and read or just watch the waves. We stayed in a gulf suite and the space was perfect for our needs. The balcony was large with a great view of the sunset. The living area was also large with older but clean and comfortable furnishings. The kitchen area had lots of storage and a fridge that really kept things ice cold which was much appreciated. The bedroom was large with a king sized bed that was an upgrade from the queen sized that was advertised. The bed was comfortable with wonderful linens. The bathroom was older but was clean and had ample counters. Overall the condo was more than I expected. My last thing to note was the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful and efficient. They were always cleaning, sweeping dealing with sand, trash, maintenance and supplies. One specific person to note was Donald in the maintenance area. I have a mobility issue and I never saw him(and I saw him all the time - he was everywhere!)when he didn’t open a gate or hold a door for me or offer to carry what I was carrying or offer an arm to help me with steps. He was also very friendly and informative. I can’t say enough about how that level of kindness feels when getting around is sometimes a struggle.
A few additional items in the kitchen would have been helpful. Even though paper goods were available at the desk a roll of paper towels, bottle opener, ice cube tray and a toaster would have been helpful.

It was right on the beach and it had a balcony. We were seaside viewing the beach. Very spacious apartment. The pictures on the walls were very attractive and appropriate to the setting.
“Kitchenette” did not include basics such as a toaster, regular coffee pot (only Keurig), or any dishes or silverware. There were no grab bars in the bathroom and a small 1” step into the bathroom created a trip hazard. There was also a ~3” frame at the bottom of the door leading to the balcony, also a trip hazard. The place could have been cleaner. The bathroom door was filthy.

The unit was very big. The pics they advertise don’t give it justice on the size. We had a balcony, so we had a perfect view of the ocean. The pool was big. I would definitely stay here again.
You don’t have housekeeping unless you request it. They staff isn’t that friendly. Check in is 4pm sharp. They would not let us in even a little early. For new towels you have to set them outside by 8:30am. It took over 24 hours the first day for them to replace them. After the first day they did replace them when we set them out. The fridge is rusted and small. Made noise. No water pressure in the shower. The balcony was scary. Definitely shaking. The whole place needs a update for sure. The pull out couch, the mattress is very thin and super uncomfortable. We brought a air mattress just in case and thank god we did. The main mattress wasn’t that comfortable and the tv volume was ridiculous to turn up. But for all the stuff that we didn’t like we would stay again.

I love the 70’s vibe of this sweet little place. Access to the beach, covered lounging area with beach view, nice pool. We were in walking distance of several great restaurants so we didn’t have to move our cars. Breakfast and coffee at the hotel restaurant next door was perfect!
Parking is very limited and if you’re meeting friends, each additional car pass is $15. There weren’t curtains on the window so the light came through during the night from the outside lights. Elevator definitely needs an upgrade.

Great location for the price, sea view room was spacious with the separate bedroom, living and bath room, basic furniture but clean enough to live in. Our request for higher floor quiet room was honored so thanks the hotel staff for that. Will definitely choose the ocean view room again next time.
Check in time not flexible, only after 4pm but we were allowed to get a parking pass so were able to stay in the spacious hallway room facing the beach so it’s made up for the late check in time

The location was everything. And absolutely cannot beat the price point for how close you are to the gulf. Staff was fantastic. Property overall was in decent shape.
The bathroom. In dire need of renovation. The shower was one of those one piece fiberglass/plastic inserts and it had a large crack in it. While there didn't appear to be any mold, the caulking was yellowed and looked horrendous. The surface of the tile countertop was flaking off. It was embarrassing to have friends who lived nearby visit. The sofa bed was also on its last legs. When out as a bed, springs were broken in areas. All in all, I wasn't expecting luxurious accommodations given the price point given the amazing location but bathroom was borderline unacceptable.

The room was larger than usual with a nice large deck, overlooking the water with a wonderful view. The pool was great!
Manager & most of the staff were not very friendly except for Juan, who was great! He was very professional & seemed to go out of his way to help. Too bad the rest of the staff wasn't as nice! Our room was on the 2nd floor & it needed a lot of updating, especially the bathroom & shower which was very small & pretty gross, needing much updating! Glass sliding door blinds to balacony, were broken & couldn't even close! Pictures on line showed a beautiful bathroom & that's definitely NOT what we got! 😢
