Wanted to come to Brookfield for Galloping Ghost arcade and wanted to stay as close to the arcade as possible so I didn't have to waste time taking a cab from Chicago so I chose this place since it was right across the street and the price was perfect the room was just as good if not better then some of the hotel rooms I've spent more then double on for the same amount of nights in Chicago :)

Lights were flickering a lot and the drain in the bath didn't drain properly but nothing major

Room was quiet and bed was comfortable.

The room was clean and does not have a smell. The bathroom was renovated (I think) and it complimented the unit. The staff was friendly and they upgraded me to a King bed.

It is clean with ample parking space

Room was clean. Staff helpful. Outside looked high end with flowers and nice landscaping. Parking was convenient. Great location.

Availability of booking.

Kind owner, clean, gave free fridge to help with food. Very quiet location, very peaceful, other guests and owners, cleaned daily. Easy access to bus.

At check in almost denied reservation without reason, we resolved issue in an hour and the stay was very quiet and peaceful afterword. Difficult to understand why a Motel on Booking.com would dispute or decline approved reservation with the website they use would love to stay again. Reservations should always be honored without disagreement.

Location convenient to train. Parking in front of room. Housekeeping excellent.

The cleanliness

Blanket of the best is too small and too thin. It’s like there’s nothing to cover yourself when you sleep.

The room was comfortable and quiet. Housekeeping did a nice job of changing towels and replenishing items in the bathroom. Overall, it was a good location and space for our weekend visit.

The only minor frustration was that the sink stopper in the bathroom wasn't functional. You couldn't fill the sink to wash up...a little bit of a water waster. Not a deal breaker, but something fairly easy to repair that would make it work better.

The zinc needs to be flushed with Drano, or liquid Plumber. The water goes down very, very slowly. I would spend about 10 minutes wiping the soap.

The location is nice. The staff are friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall I would recommend this hotel and definitely will be staying again.
