We got an upgrade on the room without adding money, the room was great the view and amenities, staff and housekeeping did a great job.the Nespresso machine was a bonus and served us well, the property is beautiful and smells really good!

We ordered room service and it was a big disappointment, the pasta was dry and chewy, the chicken Brest came with the skin and was undercooked. We were planning to go to dinner in the hotel, but the room service made us to cancel.

Service staff was friendly and accommodating and the room and view lovely. Very comfortable bed . Shower room was nice as well. The fireplace added ambiance in the winter weather.

Restaurant lighting very dim. Hard to read the menu. Service there was a bit off. The waiter didn't bring any utensils with dessert. Had to eat my creme brulee with a leftover knife. We couldn't find him to get us utensils.

A wonderful location for shopping and sightseeing. Well appointed, incredibly large & comfortable rooms. Friendly, professional staff.

Key cards failed multiple times and had to be replaced. Breakfast was expensive.

Love the understated elegance of the Waldorf. The location is perfect and central to everything. Area is walkable with many restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel itself is “luxury” without being pretentious. I absolutely loved our room with a balcony and the staff was extremely accommodating and hospitable (a late checkout of 2pm is unheard of and so appreciated!).

My only complaint is that some of the bathroom fixtures are a bit dated/needing repair.

I was impressed by the room with its incredible view and the fireplace. The staff, the room service, I could go on and on, but to make it short: my stay exceeded my expectations. I have stayed in the original Waldorf in NYC many years ago and I am so glad to have had another amazing experience at a Waldorf. A special thanks to Angel. 10/10 in every way and I will definitely be back next time I am in Chicago.

This property is beautiful inside and out. If you happen to be in the area and want to indulge in a getaway that is beyond fantastic with top notch employees who provide excellent customer service, this is the place!!!

nothing to dislike - I enjoyed everything!

The room was beautiful, the amenities were very nice.

More instructions were needed for first time guest. We weren't aware that reservations were preferred for the restaurant and speak easy. Our breakfast package wasn't explained. The bed wasn't very comfortable, too hard.

it’s a gorgeous hotel, I’ve stayed before. You are treated like royalty. The rooms are stunning.

This is my second time and this time I was a lot less impressed, unfortunately. Our room had one robe instead of 2, one phone didn’t work out of 2, we called room service for breakfast and 2 or 3 things we tried ordering they were completely out of. Disappointing. We settled for other breakfast items and 45+ minutes later they arrived with just one of them. We had to wait another 10-15 minutes for the second meal while mine became cold. It just didn’t feel worth the price of a $900 room and $75 breakfast for 2 people. :(

Amazing service, the staff are exceptional at solving problems and helping out. My rental car developed a flat tire and the valets filled it with air so I could get on my way, all without asking!

A bit pricey but this is what this kind of service and hotel costs...

The staff was exceptional (efficient, courteous, professional, but quite warm) in their attention to every need: from the people who greeted our cab as we arrived (past midnight) and the wonderful ones who were always ready to assist with cabs and with umbrellas, to the lovely front desk folks, to the room service, to the staff at The Brasserie (David was our waiter and was a joy).The food was delicious in both the late dining and in the restaurant. The facilities were superb. I have been going to Chicago for many, many years and I have stayed in tons of hotels and in my book at this time, Waldorf Astoria is the best bar none! Oh and I just love the beautiful scent that greets guests as we enter the lobby! I enjoyed every second of my stay and will DEFINITELY come back.
