Great location, a lot of restaurants and cafe within walking distance, with more shopping and store within a very short driving distance. I didn't explore the hotel too much but it had everything we need with pretty well insulated walls and floors. There were events going on every night of our stay but we couldn't hear anything from our room.

A little tight on parking when an events is going on. Wi-Fi was sub par - it worked, barely. It's as if we were out of range. Breakfast was also a little lacking - things were out and the selection not as vast. Flavor was fine and staff were quick to restock upon request, but it did put us of a bit.

Clean and staff was professional.

In essence, you paid for breakfast since “breakfast included” was at a higher price. Receiving a bill for break, stamped paid for but expecting a tip for a buffet breakfast was jarring. The pancakes and sausage were room temp and unappealing. Super disappointed with it. You had to turn in your Paid for breakfast ticket they gave you at check in so it was awkward to come down and grab coffee and a muffin at 6:45 by yourself when the rest of the family wouldn’t be down for another hour. I didn’t go in for coffee but went back to the room until we could all go in together.

Location is perfect. Nearby restaurant for restaurant. Swimming pool is a plus too.

No housekeeping service. Front desk didn't give us complimentary plates and cutlery. Then when we want to extend for another day. A guy on the front desk said he cant do it , only online. I know it should be possible. Good thing another front desk assisted and told him its possible and teach him how to do it. The guy needs training. Also if u can put a mote in the room where to get water. Ty

Room was exceptionally quiet. Very good location for my work. Check in hotel clerk was maybe the best. He walked us around and pointed out our room and said it should be very quiet. He was right.

My only complaint is that the room key would not open the back entrance, twice, which was more convenient to reach our room.

The room was clean. Beds were comfy. The front desk staff (Gladys) was amazing and polite. It was a late checked in coming from Toronto, Canada but she welcomed us and made us feel comfortable.

The overall experience was exceptional comfortable and polite energy. Location location right lol it was perfect and convenient access to multiple other businesses in walking distance love it.

Nothing in the slightest well maybe after hours pool and spa would be really cool maybe an extra cost to allow that but overall nothing.

Most hotels of this price have a free breakfast and Skokie, IL Holiday Inn did not. If there were more choices in the area, I would have booked somewhere else with free breqkfast. Would have been a better value for me. I did like that there is a Keurig in my room.

At 7 AM, I asked for towels instead of a room cleaning and the desk worker suggested I come back after my workday to request them. And I said, that is why I am here now. Some in customer service need to seek ways to make it convenient for the customer. Just saying.

Rooms were clean and the location was great!

Upon check-in I requested a king size room, we got to the room and it was an inner room with double beds. We would have settled for the room but trying to turn on the TV every possible way it did not work, we requested a different room because we wanted tv at first we were told there were only double bed rooms available at which I did not belive the front desk was being honest. The hotel seemed empty and when I called directly to request the room from their booking it was available. Long story short we got the king size room but found out in the morning the phone was not working in this room. This hotel needs to update their technology!

Breakfast was excellent with large selection of pastries, hot oatmeal, juice, mixed fruits, coffee, two scrambled egg types: plain and omelet-like with skillet vegetables, etc. Bathroom was upgraded, in start contrast with bedroom. Good coffee and tea selection.

Rooms are a bit older, so they might need a facelift. Some packing materials were left in our room.

Conveniently located about 20 minutes from Northwestern and Loyola. Great for us because we were dropping off a child to college. Food and drinks at Bar Louie located in the hotel were good. Staff was friendly and hotel room was clean and comfortable.
