I don't normally bother leaving reviews, but this one is a *strong recommend* folks. *Book now*, especially if you're coming for a big event, because at these low prices compared to hotels with half the service and with all the repeat business from satisfied customers, *all rooms will be gone soon*. What you get: 1. *Great* hospitality: When my car broke down and I couldn't get home from an event, Danny (younger guy with black hair, other host of the place besides Gary, who is older) spent hours picking me up personally from the stadium and taking my whole party out to eat. 2. Local hookup for everything: The next day, he found us a trustworthy local mechanic who only charged $80 and fixed our car right up, while helping another guest (who I also made a connection with and got his phone number) build a new computer (after serving up a delicious french toast casserole for breakfast of course). You won't get that level of service from a hotel chain. 3. Endless free snacks, huge breakfasts, and good people: So when you stay here, you're not just paying for lodging; you're paying for an amazing host/dedicated local hookup to anything you need in Indy (you will get his cell number and he only sleeps like 3 hours a night), basically unlimited snacks and drinks (all free/included 24/7), access to tons of random stuff around the house, great breakfasts with a huge spread, and probably a great opportunity to make some new friends. (If you're there for a big event, almost everyone else will be there for it too, so it's easy to make connections.) You'll also be sent on your way with tons of treats for your return trip. 4. Great location: As a bonus, the place is right near everything. Lucas Oil Stadium, the Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the Benjamin Harrison estate, the convention center, the Marriott, all of it. 5. Clean and cozy: The place is very clean. It has a lot of stuff, but I wouldn't call it cluttered.

It's not really a downside, but it is a historic property from the 1800s. If you have any mobility or significant size concerns, I'd call ahead to confirm any accommodations you might need. They will help you get sorted as much as possible.

Convenient ! Amazing gourmet breakfast and warm, friendly host. He told me that he would be pampering us, and he absolutely did! This was our second stay.

This one room, in particular, had a horrible vanity. My husband didn’t have a problem with it, but it was poorly lit, and it was extremely difficult to put my make up on. The actual tub in the bathroom was amazing as well. Our previous room had a well lit vanity, and I believe that to be true about the other rooms. It would be an easy fix if the owner would purchase a light up make up mirror to plug-in next to the bathroom sink. I would recommend that you call and ask before booking a particular room.

The host Danny was so helpful. He was always ready to give us good tips on restaurants, museum, etc. So generous with our breakfast , snacks, and plenty of goodies.We were the only couple staying those days, but he made time to have great conversations with us. It was our first time visiting Indianapolis, and this bed & breakfast was in the right spot to stay. Highly recommend.

That we didn't stay longer.

Beautiful home. Stayed in Tiffany. Rooms were immaculate and decorated gorgeously. The detailing everywhere was so ornate and lovely. Snacks, drinks and movies were available. It really felt like being at home! We could’ve walked around downtown but instead, we stayed in our cozy room by the fireplace and just basked in the quiet. We missed breakfast bc we had to leave earlier than expected but the banana bread was amazing-Danny was happy to give us some to go. Perfect stay. Will def book again. Now our fave B&B in Indy.

Absolutely nothing.

We had a wonderful stay at Old Northside Bed and Breakfast in Indianapolis! The home was beautifully maintained and pristine, and Gary, our host, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our pup was made to feel right at home, and the breakfast was a highlight—especially the banana nut loaf and eggs, which were simply delightful.

Gary was a consumate host--very obliging and thorough and makes sure his guests are well-taken care of in the room and out of the room. This is a wonderful home in the heart of Indianapolis and parking is super easy in a large private lot direclty behind the home. Our room was extremely cozy and we thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi bathtub.

Bed was hard for our liking and we wished we had more usable pillows (more decorative pillows than not) but these were very minor concerns compared to all our likes.

Gary is an exceptional host. He’s gave us a tour of his beautiful home when we got there. He’d baked at least 4 kinds of delectable cookies, had sodas and waters for us as well as other treats. The house is amazing! The woodwork and the furniture are ornate; they reminded us of our grandparents’ homes. Gary’s attention to detail is formidable. The house is well appointed with comfortable beds , sumptuous towels and toiletries as well as souvenirs of Gary’s travels around the world. Our room had a fireplace and a jacuzzi that we wished we had more time to enjoy. There’s an enormous collection of movies, music and games. There is also a grand piano in the parlor. Our dog was welcomed as well. The breakfast was delicious with multiple selections; there is something for everyone. The neighborhood is a beautiful place to walk the dog. It’s not far from wonderful restaurants and a movie theater. We are planning on returning to spend more time here when we can. There’s so much to explore in Indianapolis. We highly recommend visiting it at Old Northside Bed and Breakfast!

Beautiful house in a cool historic neighborhood! Gary is an excellent host…super friendly! My wife and I felt extremely welcomed…Breakfast was fantastic! Definitely recommend and the next time we are in Indianapolis we will definitely stay here again! A+

The breakfast was wonderful - lots of choices and served in the beautifully decorated dining room.

We were there for such a short time so we were satisfied. We were looking for a place to stay near the venue where we attended an event and it was perfectly located.

Owner was amazing, loved all the free amenities and old charm of the place. Lots of snacks and drinks, and the breakfast was delicious! The host gave us a full tour and showed us all the amenities available to us. Everything was clean and comfortable. Best B&B I’ve ever stayed at!

Only complaint is I would’ve liked to have had a personal key for my door to lock it when we left, as opposed to having it unlocked when I was away and only replying on the building itself being locked.
