the remodel is great, great atmosphere. The new restaurant is upscale but its a good choice for families. Most kids wont like these flavor pallets, Sometimes simple is better or at least give that option.

I have stayed there (Louisville Location)numerous times. Both with my kids and with out, the pantry has numerous options but to me lacks a staple item. MILK, there is NO milk option and traveling with kids its an inconvenience. So I went and asked the restaurant for 4 glasses of milk. It was $20 including a average Standard tip, Come on guys just a basic 2% pint or quart of milk. Thanks

Location access to University of Louisville where attending an semi annual event with family and friends. Comfortable rooms and clean. Liked visible security in parking areas overnight.

There was some construction work occurring, main issue was our room air conditioning was gurgling / dripping which likely needed to be cleaned out for some clogging so it was annoying to sleep with sound of it but also was extremely hot and muggy outside so it may have been related to overworking from the Heat

The layout and space of the room was wonderful and the six of us fit comfortably. After technical difficulties in our first room, we were even moved to an even more beautiful and spacious suite. The staff were very friendly and helpful during all parts of the stay. If we are in the area and in need of a hotel, we will absolutely be returning here.

There was an issue with the plumbing of our room and we had to be moved, which was to another beautiful room, but it was inconvenient because it was already 11:30 when we settled into room #1. Also, the cleanliness of the bathroom was underwhelming because there was a bandaid on the floor behind the bathroom door.

Loved the facility! Beautiful hotel. Check in was a little slow, but very nice staff. The room was very large and had all the amenities. Could of used a shower mat, the tub was slick. Breakfast was awesome!! Dara was our bartender and she is AMAZING. We were going to have 1 drink at the hotel bar and then go to a local restaurant. After talking with her for a little bit we ended up staying at the hotel bar for the night. Appetizer was great. I Would definitely stay here again.

The renovations were well received. We were there to attend the Kentucky Derby and the Crowne Plaza was outstanding. Other travelers commented on the new look and improved services.

A handout with instructions on how to get back and forth from the Kentucky Derby from the Crowne Plaza would have been helpful. It was cold and raining and we had to figure it out. There were large crowds and others were confused as well. I did send a write-up to the hotel for their review.

Crowne doesn’t disappoint. It’s very very clean, the rooms are nice and spacious, and the fridge is a plus. The staff is very professional and pleasant. The hotel overall is very nice. Bummed their pool wasn’t open. I love that they have an airport shuttle also. You could order a ride, but the shuttle was so easy, complimentary, and convenient!!!! The gentleman who took me to the airport was so kind. I also really well and loved watching the plans take off.

It was clean and employees were polite.

Received an email that the pool was closed for the season the night before leaving to head there and so we didn’t bring our swimsuits only to find out it was a mistake and the pool was in fact open, so we weren’t able to enjoy the pool. I felt that maybe a small discount or maybe free breakfast could have been offered for the inconvenience of us not getting to fully enjoy the amenities.

The friendliness, warm feeling about the staff.

Disappointed in checkin and direction. Front desk sent me to parking lot 3… by the time I found the appropriate elevator…I had to pass the parking lot 2 entrance. Fortunately, a manager saw I was lost trying to find the elevator. He started to give me directions but stopped and said… “Let me take you there”! Excellent service by him. Secondly, I am an IHG Member yet no one asked if I was… I have points from a week stay at you facility in Bratislava, Slovakia

Close to fairgrounds and highway. Beautifully decorated. Clean. Staff friendly.

Al’s restaurant. Several young staff standing near my table talking in their native language throughout my meal. They were obviously waiting for me to finish so they could clean my table. Very disconcerting. I also miss the gift shop! Now it’s a UPS gathering place?

Great location for access to Highland Festival Grounds. Nicely updated rooms with great amenities. Very quiet even though it's close the airport.

Housekeeping knocked twice (and even entered once without knocking!) even though we hadn't checked out yet. That has never happened to me at a hotel, ever. It was so weird. But other than that, everything was fantastic!
