Overall the stay was good. I was there for a wedding and the meet up areas both inside and out were nice. The room layout was good. The location, once oriented was good for walking to coffee and food. The bar was nice. Casual atmosphere. Pool was nice for granddaughter when not over crowded.

Rooms dark as if you open blinds your looking into apartments directly in front of you so difficult to get natural light. There in July, it was hot. Would be nice to have easier access to water refill to reduce the use of plastic.

Showing up at 11:00 AM, meeting the manager upon arrival, leaving our luggage and being told our room would be ready at 2:00. Then returning at 4:30 and the room not ready. The manager at this time said they gave our room to other guests because we were not there. What made it worse is the manager said he had't gotten my name even though he had looked up our reservation upon arrival. AND, when my wife asked for some seltzer he would only provide it if we paid for it.

I loved all of the bright colors and amenities the hotel had. It just felt different than a normal hotel. I also loved how close it was to all of the entertainment in Newport. We were able to walk to the BB Riverboat Cruise, Newport Aquarium, and everything in that area (food, movie theater, bowling, etc.). The Reds Stadium was also only a 25 minute walk or less than a 5 minute drive. Although it’s a little more pricey, I do think it worth it for the proximity to some fun stuff to do.

It was a little confusing to enter initially as the door to the hotel is in the back of the entrance rather than facing the street. Parking also isn’t free. I thought the front desk lady said parking was only $10, but we ended up paying $24 for a two night stay. Either we misunderstood her, or we entered into the wrong parking garage, because there are multiple places to enter.

There was blood on the sheets and comforter. They did change the bed and gave us free breakfast. Also the pool was being drained because of a party that trashed it. My kids were really upset. That's why we booked that place. The staff was young at the front desk and typical young unfriendly kids. It's a beautiful facility great location but was disappointed. I have stayed at a lot of your facilities and this was the worst one. I'm a retired flight attendant and have stayed in Aloft several times for business.

The location

I appreciated the friendly and welcoming front desk staff. I loved the modern decor, the calm atmosphere and the fact that your key card was used for not just your room but the elevator and parking garage as well. I loved the activities available such as billiards pool table, corn hole and connect 4 games.

I can't think of anything I didn't like. I'm overall happy with this hotel and would stay here again.

Pool was warm and clean, Room was clean. Staff was nice and friendly.

the area around the pool especially the rust worried me cause I got a cut on my foot and had to be very careful not to step in the watery rust.ice and microwave was across the whole floor had to walk all the way around just to get ice. Seemed to be too expensive for the entire trip, the breakfast wasn't that good and had to pay extra for it... The shampoo and soap was not cleansing had to buy my own. Didn't have many good channels on TV, all the good ones had no signal..

Very easy to get to the Levee, in addition to being such a nice,cozy, and CLEAN space. If you are wanting to stay in that area to have walkable access to restaurants and things to do then this is the place. Also, Uber’s get to you super fast! We stayed on a busy weekend and had no issues. It was a 4 minute drive from the hotel to the casino.

If I had to say something “negative”… the room is fairly small along with being able to easily hear people in the hallway (we didn’t mind!) . We had a king studio suite. Perfect for 2 people!

We were greeted with a smile upon entering the property and the atmosphere was incredible! Fun and inviting! The property was very safe and clean. Loved the location. Convenient to many restaurants and lots of entertainment and all within walking distance. Check in and check out were both effortless. Definitely will be staying here again when we are in the area!

Room was clean, location was ok, staff was very friendly. The lobby pool table was a plus. But ultimately the staff was the best part, they were polite and helpful.

The breakfast options could have been better. Truth be told, there are very few options around for food (at least late night food) This would be a great location for a lobby restaurant. Also, the bar closed pretty early for a Friday night.

The bed was so comfortable, slept like a log! Room was spotless & lots of usb ports to plug all our electronics in. The front desk clerk told us about a local shuttle that saved us a mile walk in the heat.

Wasn’t expecting $10.00 to park, most hotels I’ve stayed at (including the Hampton a block away) offer free parking for guests. This is my only gripe. Otherwise, great!
