Overall a pleasant experience; the roof top pool area is divine, adding a wonderful dimension to the stay. Rooms are trendily styled, and overall pleasant. Did not try any of the food, it was way, way too cold to eat there - see comment under what we didn't like.

Rooms are very dark. The lobby, restaurant bar - all freezing cold, the AC way too high - so high you want to leave the lobby as soon as you can, would not even consider eating there. We asked 2x why they kept it soooo cold, they said 'it's warm outside' - talk about over compensating!! There were extra charges applied to our stay even though we booked with booking.com and it said 'including all taxes and charges' - turned out not to be true - the hotel sends you a text to agree to a series of terms the evening before arrival - including they are going to charge you more than we agreed to book thru booking.com

Spacious room. Cotton bed sheets. Nice smelling toiletries. Both downstairs bar & restaurant areas were nice. Rooftop nice. Walking distance to quite a few nice restaurants.

This place has great hardware, but service / software needs some TLC. Housekeeping wanted to clean room at odd times - around 5 pm on both days. We’d been out all day and were readying for going out that night, so neither day worked which meant the room wasn’t tidied. Room Curtain can no longer close fully as broken. For us, the rooftop was the big draw, but on a quiet Monday evening around 6pm, there was only one staff member ‘on duty’, and despite only a handful of people, no one bothered tidying, so lots of dirty cups and used cutlery and plates left from earlier in the day. And the fires weren’t lit on rooftop, so overall not a welcoming area to hang out in, despite it supposed to being open till 9PM.

The staff were great; very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and elegant and the shower was awesome.

The only thing we did not like or enjoy was the bed. It was very uncomfortable and didn't provide a good nights sleep.

Very spacious rooms!! I loved having a proper bath tub. Wonderful swimming pool on the roof with a bar and snacks. The lobby had a great social feel with a bar, two restaurants and a cafe on the ground floor. The staff were helpful, professional and friendly. The bonus was having the small club on the premises with a great selection of musicians playing every night. As a single female, I felt very comfortable with the location and walking to my destinations in the evening.

My room had dim lighting though I did see other rooms with better lighting.

The experience and the vibe of BARNETT were great. The staff was super friendly and wanted to make sure I was comfortable. The pool area and the mist coming from the fans overhead oh what a treat! 😍 The price of the rooms per night was very reasonable. It was a nice way to relax. I enjoyed my stay. I will be back.

The parking is somewhat of a problem. To find a parking space near by or pay $50 per night. I want to get information about Day pass during the week. I placed a call to the hotel and the automated system directed me to leave a message and that someone from the pool area would give me a call back. And that was a couple of weeks ago. I still have not received a call. Please direct me to someone that I can talk to to get information such as the cost per person, the hours of operation, and other rules and regulations for the poolside.

The hotel was uniquely and beautifully designed. It had everything you could need on site…restaurant, bar, cafe/coffee shop, fitness center and rooftop pool. The hotel was well maintained. Although in the smaller side, the room was nice, clean and comfortable. The overall feel of the hotel was inviting and .

The balconies have glass dividers between each room so there’s no privacy and everything is visible should you leave your curtains open or just sitting outside. The front desk, valet and cafe staff were very attentive and friendly…overall amazing, but on multiple occasions, the pool staff was unhelpful, cold attitudes, and unwelcoming even after we confirmed we were actual guests staying at the hotel. Simply requesting towels or just asking for more information about reserving daybeds/ loungers seemed like a chore for them. Also, as a hotel guest, its ridiculous that reserving a pool daybed/loungers is not included as I was told it would need to be done via the ResortPass app as if we just some randoms off the street.

The rooftop swimming pool was a great way to start the day, with a bar and view of the city. A very social ground floor with comfortable seating, a bar, a cafe for coffee and snacks, with two very good quality restaurants attached to the hotel. A quiet long airy room to work on your computer with beautiful local art on the walls. The bonus was the Good Measure music venue, I booked to see two acts, great evenings. The location is perfect, I travelled alone, close to buses and trams, staff called taxis for me, easy to walk to the quarter and the many great restaurants in the area. The staff were always very helpful and welcoming, ensuring the comfort of the guests.

The lighting in my room was quite dim, other rooms had better lighting.

Vibes, photo booth in hall, available amenities like restaurant and pool, quietness of room, not a lot of people on floors but very social atmosphere in lobby area, and everyone was so helpful and friendly from lobby front desk people morning and night, bartenders, cleaners, restaurant staff, and pool attendants

Very dark lightning throughout. bathroom sink area is not closed in just has curtain to close off. elevators took a while sometimes and stopped once. loved the fully stocked mini bar and fridge although i didn't use anything cuz of prices. my friend wasn't a fan of above ground pool or having to pay for round cabana-beds at pools. in the room the beds were double size, we were told the hotel didn't have any queen beds. but the rooms were big enough to fit bigger beds. the beds and pillows were kind of hard. liked that the hotel had active social scene.

The ambiance was amazing. Comfortable and spacious room and the furniture was so beautiful. Very unique and didn’t feel stuffy like other hotels. They had a steamer in the room which I utilized. Great location as well. Pool was amazing!

The pool was a selling point for me in booking this and it was really crowded on the Saturday I was there. A whole section was blocked off the entire time I was there and no one used it while people were waiting for 30 minutes for a chair to free up. I think selling resort pass on this pool causes that problem.

The property was very well located in regards to the French Quarter and other tourist areas. There are also restaurants and coffee places nearby. Of course the restaurant connected to the hotel is fantastic. I also like that the property seem to be ingratiated with events from people in the community, you could see that people knew about the place, especially those who are not tourist. The property leaned to me to be more of a vibe for folks in their late 20s, 30s and even up to mid 40s as far as the Events in the bar area and on the rooftop. so definitely millennials or a little older than that, but I thought it was the perfect fit for that kind of crowd. Also something to be noted: we arrived very late to the hotel. It was almost midnight so I called the hotel a few hours ahead of time while I was boarding my flight to let them know that It wouldmt be late and they quickly told me that wouldn’t be a problem. They sent me an email link to early check-in so I would just be able to quickly Show my ID and get my room key right away and it all worked out perfectly so I was thankful for that.

we stayed in was a king bed (I personally thought the bed was pretty comfortable). These are nitpicky things, but the walls are dark and it was hard to locate the light switches in the room also because the ceilings are so tall I almost wish that they would have lighter paint to make the room seem a little more, but I understand that the vibe of the hotel is like a voodoo-y dark vibe.
