The door on Canel street is closed at night. A lot of homeless/ ruff sleepers in the area, very concerned we were exposed as we were at the door. It would be favourable to have the door manned.

The hotel and room was well decorated and comfortable. The cocktails and live jazz were great. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and an overall pleasure to interact with

The neighborhood right outside the hotel has a plethora of homeless and it is not well lit and poses a safety risk especially at night.

We were travelling to the US on our honeymoon from Australia and the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans was a highlight of our trip. Our room was beautiful, it was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The room and overall hotel had old school charm mixed with modern luxury. The ameneties within the room and the hotel were fantastic. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure every need was met promptly. The staff also kindly arranged champagne to celebrate our special stay. The location is ideal—right in the heart of the French Quarter, with every sight within walking distance.

There is no critics for this wonderful hotel. We hope to visit again on our next trip to the US.

The reception, baggage, and hospitality staff provided exceptional service, specifically those who brought food to our room. I loved the room service, including the table they set to serve meals. We also loved the in-house workout facilities.

I mentioned a dairy allergy and specifically asked for hot chocolate made with water. I received hot chocolate with milk and had to ask for medicine later. Staff did provide Pepto Bismal, and I felt better afterward.

Very nice hotel in a great location for all the attractions. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Nice touch with the morning coffee station and beignets in the afternoon

Spa had some nice facilities it was a shame there aren’t any communal areas where me and my husband could relax together. The treatment rooms had a very noisy fan, which wasn’t very relaxing and small details were missing that you would expect in a high end spa such as scented air and scented face cloths etc. It was also a shame that after spending 5 nights and spending plenty in the bar and restaurant, we still had to pay to have a shower, to freshen up as we had a very late flight.

I loved the overall cleanliness and ambiance of the hotel. The staff was super accommodating. The younger door man with the glasses was really helpful and nice. The beignets in the lobby were also amazing. The bartenders Brittney and the man that works with her were super knowledgeable about the cocktails and local cuisine.

I was very upset that the pool was closed TFN and it wasn't mentioned on the website. I really wanted to swim and that would have changed my mind about booking my stay there. I wish I was notified in advance. I also didn't like the fact that my welcome card in my room was addressed to someone else.

Staying in club level was great! Clean well equipped room, huge bathroom Comfortable bed Jazz bar was really nice

Loud hallways, every porters cart could be heard loud and clear unsure why maintenance knocked on our door and didn’t call first

Your company , Booking dot com is a scam. I intended to make a reservation directly with the Ritz Carlton. However, your company unethically pirates their internet prescience with very unethical search engine practices. Your system and false portrayal cost me to lose $500 due to the third party booking and your abusive cancellation policies. Even your confirmation email fraudulently portrays to be from the Ritz Carlton. You have not heard the last from me. I already complained to Marriott and have requested a meeting with my Congressman after forwarding your fraudulent emails to them .
