Super convenient and perfect for our needs. My son and I were in town for a family wedding. The room was just perfectly fine - but everything was very comfortable and clean, the bed linens and towels were crisp and fluffy. Communication with the staff about our need for slightly out of the ordinary checking in details was all very clear and easy. All in all this is a place I would easily recommend.

The place was more of a motel than an inn. I expected a bit more charm based on the name and the website, but for us this was not at all an issue.

Price and location. The room met expectations, very clean, comfortable beds and exceptionally fluffy bath towels which we loved. Parking right outside each door, set far enough back from the main road insured the place was quiet. SUPRISE BONUS - complimentary potato chips, popcorn, chocolate bars and carbonated water!

I’d say the bathroom vanity - the position and size of the sink to the faucet gave very little room to wash your hands - the sink was a gorgeous large freestanding bowl, however the faucet sat too far back. The ledge above the sink was so large, protruding far over the sink, causing you to bang your head on it every time you bent down over the sink to brush your teeth. Strange setup but it looked great. Seriously everything else was really great!

The King room was so comfortable - after a long day of travel, this room was just what we needed, a very comfortable bed, nice warm temperature, very spacious shower. As we arrived late, they sent us self check in information, which was very simple. The staff was responsive and kind and helped us out with our request to stay an additional night in the room and even gave us a discount. The drive to Acadia took around 40 minutes.

Easy check in and check out! Room was a good size as was the bathroom. Soap (shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion) smelled good. Enjoyed the complementary snacks. Good shower water pressure and drain was not clogged like I’ve experienced at other Inns.

Only dislike was the shower curtain. It didn’t have weights at the bottom, so the water pressure from the shower head would sometimes blow the curtain inward and it would stick to me which I did not like and then had to re wash and be conscious of where I stood.

While the location was right where I needed it to be, the main reason for my high rating was the interior decor and luxuries. The exterior was pleasant and looked well maintained, but the interior was really impressively up-to-date, with ample power outlets, a very modern shower (with powerful water flow), and high quality sheets and towels. The towels, in fact, were very thick and absorbent - maybe the best I've ever seen in a motel. (I stay in motels and hotels almost 60 nights a year.)

The pre-arrival text messages initially gave the impression the proprietor did not welcome visitors. This was misleading, but they need to reconsider their wording. Additionally, the door-security system was excellent, but again, the preliminary pre-arrival info did NOT make it clear: there was NO key, but the pass code worked on the door's keypad perfectly every time. They need to state how this works BEFORE the person arrives, so that it's clear we (arriving people) do not actually need to meet anyone at reception.

Bed was comfortable with a good, firm mattress. Very nice shower with excellent water pressure. Towels were thick and plush. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was courteous and helpful. Free snacks, including water and soda, were a nice touch! Liked the door combination setup instead of a room key... made checking in and checking out effortless. Great stay...would stay again!

The rooms have clearly been lovingly renovated recently. The staff were so helpful and kind-- they even reached out to us to let us know that they didn't have an elevator and ask if we needed a ground floor room (which we did, so that was very much appreciated!). Everything was so clean and the bathroom was especially so cool!

It's a small thing, but the bed frames had metal panels to the floor, and there wasn't much room underneath. We keep kicking them and they would make a small 'boom' each time 😂 I wish they had breakfast!

Convenient location, close to several coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations. Great for visiting Acadia without Bar Harbor prices. Very homey, doesn’t feel like a corporate chain, didn’t see any staff but they were very communicative via text.

Can hear everything outside - voices, footsteps, suitcases. Not too bad as all guests were respectful and did their best to minimize noises during odd hours. Door handle was a bit broken with a note.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean. They even had snacks, sodas and waters in the room for us. The beds were comfortable. Was a pleasant stay for sure . We had an emergency and had to stay an extra night the lady at the desk made room for us (2 rooms) without us having to move. Was awesome.
