Clean, friendly, professional service

The bar and evening staff was diligent, hardworking and professional. However, it was clear to our large group of parents from our lacrosse club that they just need more staffers to support and accommodate a busy weekend of larger crowds. They were friendly, worked hard, and it was obvious they tried their best. We felt they were short-staffed and more employees would’ve been helpful in order to manage the large crowd during our stay for lacrosse tournament weekend. For example, some waited 20 minutes for a single drink order to be filled bc there was a shortage of alcohol or clean glassware on hand every night.

Everything! Cleanliness, staff were very helpful and extremely pleasant. Location was perfect for our needs. They actually provide room cleaning service everyday! And bottled water was provided without asking which is very helpful when you have certain food problems. We were provided with a room with an excellent view, even after I had requested a feather free room. All in all are stay was excellent.

The only thing I can complain about is not having free coffee in the morning. The rooms did have their own coffee makers, but I like getting my own hot cup of coffee. To their benefit it was a holiday weekend and the staff was limited. There was a Starbucks coffee Kiosk.

The fact that they don’t accept payments by Apple Pay or similar gave me a big headache. I arrived late at night and my physical card had an issue that could be solved only in the next morning. The receptionist was very kind to give me a room for one night so I could solve everything in the morning. But if they accepted Apple Pay all the stress would’ve been avoided as I could have used another card right from the beginning. Also, the fact that they didn’t have a breakfast buffet everyday made things more difficult. In a hotel where many people stay for work reasons, it would be much better to have a buffet.

The staff were exceptional! From the restaurant staff to the concierge lounge staff, everyone was so friendly and accommodating.

The hotel itself could use an update - the rooms and decor were a bit dated; but completely adequate for a business trip.

Location was great.Rio is a very pleasant area and the hotel was very close to all shops bars restaurants and my working place.Very polite and ready to help staff.

Even that i didn’t ask but it should have been useful to have a shuttle from hotel to the shady grove metro station

Convenient location with lots of eatery options, shopping close by. Nice view out the window. Very quiet. Restaurant was great, along with great service. Room was very spacious for 2 people.

Hotel rooms are super dated. Club chairs with tables in lounge area don't match up; seats are too low/table top too high.

Would prefer a buffet style breakfast - quicker, but the food was excellent and the staff so helpful and friendly

Hotel feels a bit tatty round the edges but is perfectly acceptable for a work trip

I liked everything about the hotel but didn't like Booking.com. Booking.com has terrible customer service and impossible to reach.

location is great as all the rest . few questions are not answered ( like breakfast or business centre ) only because those services were not used

Great location! Property sits at the foot of a lake that is surrounded by great restaurants, shopping and incorporates a park setting on the far side. Property was clean and staff were super friendly!
