I booked the hotel, so my husband and I could get away for the weekend. The hotel location was excellent as it was very close to a variety of restaurants, a movie theatre, shopping stores & trails. No need to drive around. We enjoyed walking around the waterfront shopping center. Public parking was available near the hotel and it was free. The water view and boardwalk were amazing. The front desk staff was friendly and very courteous. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The AC/Heater unit did not function properly and it was hard to regulate the temperature of the room. It was not a big deal as the temperature fixed itself eventually.

The front desk staff (especially the late shift) were really great: respectful but kind and warm. The location can’t be beat. You are literally at the heart of the action but the room was quiet.

I didn’t have trouble with parking since I arrived on Thursday but it would be challenging on weekends. At least they let you pull up to load and unload. The only other complaint is the queue for coffee or breakfast at the Bistro is very long and moves slowly.

I asked for a single King Bed and they gave me an Accessible one, which was extra spacious. But the best thing was there was not a single cause for complaint - it was immaculately clean, had a lovely view of the lake, and everything worked as it should. The Bistro was a great idea too - you could bring your own food and drink and plenty of space (as well as cubicles) to gather with friends and family. Or you could order drinks and light food at the bar.

Location is very convenient. Close to many activities like stores,restaurants and recreation places. And close to freeways. Nice view from hotel rooms facing the Rio lake. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Place is quiet and sound proof.

The towels need to be more white and clean. There is no microwave in the room.

The location was great. Lots of restaurants and activities within walking distance.

The parking ramp was free and close by but was popular for people parking for the cinema and other activities at Rio so it was difficult to find a spot by early evening.

The location was great. I had been there before . I stayed to visit family so I did not really use the facilities

When I arrived I dropped off my things and went to visit family . Upon my return and going to bed the bed sheets had an odor. I had to report that to the desk. They could not send anyone up to change my sheets so I had to sleep on those sheets. Especially the fitted sheet had an odor. I agreed with the desk that I would allow myself to sleep on the top blanket but it would not be easy and to have the entire bed changed the next morning while I was gone. That was disappointing at the least.

I like that I can have balcony and overlook the lake. It's a great location with everything you need close by. Donutchew is delicious and a must if you have a sweet tooth!

The unavoidable lobby scent but it's not their fault. If you are scent sensitive, there is a pool and you smell it as soon as you enter and then add in some cucumber melon room freshener. It's a bit much. Its only on the lobby level.

Location at Rio Washingtonian Center is nice. There is a small lake just in front of the hotel. But also close to highway to Washington DC. A Metro station is not far away but not in walking distance! Lots of Restaurants nearby; also some shops like Target, a bookstore with Starbucks in it, a big sports shop (Kiehls). Free parking provided in the garage next to the hotel. We had 2 rooms and got rooms with connecting door, what was really pracitcal.

Sometimes a little bit loud outside on Friday and Saturday evenings.

The location of the hotel is perfect. The hotel is situated in a small inviting town center that offers easy walking access to retail stores, restaurants, outdoor fun for children, a movie theater and much more!

The only thing that could have been better was the bathroom could have been upgraded.

Everyone was wonderful. Food very good.

When we went to have a drink in the lounge on the second floor before our event.....there was NOONE there. If some one is absent, PLEASE have a replacement person to serve your customers.
