The property was located 1 minute of walking distance to the boardwalk. My kids actually loved it. They loved it because they were able to walk to the boardwalk or to the beach several times a day whenever they wanted to. They liked that the room was cleaned. The room, the towels and sheets were cleaned. The room, bathroom, shower, kitchen seemed like they were recently renovated. We loved it that they have air conditioning and it made the room very cold. Even though, as it was with any typical window air conditioner it comes with the typical noise that any window air conditioner would have.

Also, what I didn’t really like about the room was as we went to sleep we could hear footsteps or noises that the guest in the top floor above us made. For examples, noise from moving furniture or footsteps pacing back and forth. The other thing that we didn’t like was the parking at the location was very crowded and the parking spaces were small. If you a small car or some cars like a small suv would be fine. They do have a 2nd parking lot that we found it to be useful which was located about 1 block away from the location.

The location was excellent for the price! As a single mom of 3, I was incredibly grateful for the kitchenette so we could make some of our food to save some money. The kitchenette did have most of the necessities to cook, but be sure to check everything out because some of the utensils are flimsy. The living area itself was updated and spacious, so we had plenty of room to stretch out. The front desk woman was incredibly helpful and kind. I was able to meet the owner and the owner was such an awesome down to earth man. We will definitely be back to support!!

The bathroom was extremely gross and dirty. It looked like someone got sick all over and it was stuck all over the walls. For my own peace of mind, I cleaned the bathroom myself. I am a professional house cleaner so I notice more details than most people. The floor in the room was full of sand but nothing a good sweep couldn't fix! The biggest complaint I have is that the parking lot is annoyingly small. If you don't stay in your parking spot you may possibly lose it. Then you need to park about a block or two away and it's rather inconvenient. NOT impossible to get to just inconvenient, but we're young and don't mind walking.

The hotel is incredible, we were very well attended at the hotel reception, at check-in and check-out, the room was super clean, smelled nice, clean sheets, super comfortable bed, soft pillows, plenty of towels in the bathroom, which was super important to me, the fridge and microwave worked really well, there was a big mirror where you could see your entire body, which I thought was super important, you're on the beach in less than 5 minutes, nothing to complain about. 10/10

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The front desk service, both during check-in and check-out, was excellent. The manager, Ben, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming — truly one of the highlights of my experience. The room was spotless, with everything perfectly clean. The air conditioning worked very well, which made my stay even more comfortable. Overall, it was worth every penny. I used the parking lot provided by the hotel, which is about two blocks away, but there were also spots available in front of the hotel and on the property itself — parking was never an issue. I’ll definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Everything about this place was great!! Love the old school feel of this place. I would hands down stay here again. Very clean. Staff was super friendly. The parking in front of the motel is very limited and tight. However, there is overflow parking directly behind the motel and it's certainly not an inconvenience of a walk. A few reviews made me worry until I got there. People need to stop being lazy and feeling so entitled and just walk a little more. Enjoy the scenery and get out of their phones. This place is definitely a gem for sure!!!❤️❤️❤️

Super clean, aside from stray toilet paper on the floor, a couple hairs on the bed, and a crumb in the couch.. overall, not a big deal. Super quiet after 10 pm, which is good and everyone is respectful of that. The place serves its purpose, and only a block from the beach. A few feet away from Starbucks and the OC Rum Shack! beach is less crowded down this way also.

Cleaning staff showed up at 10:30 and knocked and then shoved keys in door to try to open when i didn't open it quick enough, which again, not a big deal, just a little weird.... especially because you don't know if someone's getting dressed or not. There was probably 2 or 3 mins in between the knock and the fidgeting with the key and the lock trying to open it. I didn't open at first cuz i was unsure if it was our door or next doors. Either way, check out is 11 am.. not 10:30, so just a little odd. Probably just a one off weird thing with the cleaners, especially because of the holiday.

Ben and Jonela are AMAZING!!! Although I just met them, they made us feel like family or honored guests. They made time to have real, meaningful conversations. They were so friendly and made great recommendations when asked about restaurants. Their motel is quiet, clean, and in a great location! -- huge bedroom, adequate lighting, comfortable, new beds and sofa, spotless refrigerator, nice table with chairs, tons of clean towels! I had a very memorable birthday getaway!

The kitchen was clean and fully equipped with all necessities. The front desk was super, kind, helpful and accommodating. Was the the perfect walking distance to everything without having to sleep right over top the party.

They did not have a working ice machine while we were there but they did offer bags of ice for sale. Helpful but not as convenient. I'm sure it was temporary. I have a background in service and I know sometimes you just need to make the best substitution you have when waiting on a repair. Was not a huge problem at all. Just the only issue I can actually recall during our stay.

The air conditioning was very old and loud, impossible to sleep with it turned on. The fan speed control was not working, so it was only temp control and the fan at max power. The bathroom was very small, without window (although it was not internal). The window looking to the backside of the building was locked with bolts to avoid its opening, so there was no chance to ventilate the room as the air was not circulating. Price was not the best considering these issues, and that it doesn’t include breakfast.

The front desk lady was so great ! We were really early since we drove a ways to get there and she actually let us check in. The room was pretty clean, there were a couple things, some hair left in the shower/a tissue on the side of the bed, the remote control was super sticky but nothing to crazy. We were only there one night. We were in the bottom floor so the wifi was a little spotty and the upstairs neighbors were quite loud. I think they had kids and they were running back and forth for quite a while, but it was only about 7/8pm so it wasn’t “quiet time”My 2yr old was a little scared, but again it’s just the way it is in a multiple story motel. But I can’t say good enough things about the front desk lady, she was soo nice !
